Thank you for the advice. I have applied to unitec and I am waiting for their feedback. My major fear is not getting job at all in both fields within the 1 year PSV. I am also giving Ireland a try, which happens to have both fields in their critical list. I guess I will make a final decision at the outcome of both applications. CalabarSamurai: |
My Bachelors (Quantity Surveying) with 10yrs of work experience and my chosen field (Construction project management) are on the green list. I will be going for a graduate diploma in the CPM. My concern is just the availability of jobs, especially in Q.S, to enable me to get my PR faster. Also, the PSV for the graduate diploma is just 1 yr. Will I be able to get a job in any of my fields before it expires? Spending heavily and not getting a PR is my greatest fear. Please advise. CalabarSamurai: |
Please, I want to go for a graduate diploma in construction project management, as it is what I can afford. I have my Bachelors in Quantity Surveying, with 10 yrs of work experience, and both courses are on the green list. My plan is to come in with the graduate diploma and then start looking for a Q.S role (After i have done my assessment) before I finish the program. Once I am done with the program, I will extend my search to CPM roles too. If I happen to get a job in either of them, I will get a PR ASAP. My only concern is the availability of jobs for Quantity Surveyors in NZ, can I easily get one within 3 months? The one year PSV for graduate dipoma seems short for me and discouraging me from taking the step, but if job is guaranteed then I am all in. lovylovy: |
Good Day Everyone, Please, is there someone in construction that did masters in ireland, and is currently working? I want to go for a Master's degree in construction project management with the intention of getting PR faster, since the course is on the critical list. I have a Bachelors' degree in Quantity Surveying with 10 years of experience, and Quantity Surveying is also on the critical list. I really want to know the possibility of securing a job either in QS or CPM after my studies. I am deeply bothered about spending about 15k Euros on tuition without getting the PR after studies. |
Taal17:I have checked several times. It confirmed my NIN and details on the first page and when I moved to the next page to confirm current passport, it didn’t go through. I have checked my passport number and put in the details exactly the way it is. |
Please I need help/assistance My passport will expire on Dec this year, so I decided to commence the renewal as per the usual 6months renewal pattern. I visited the website "https://passport.immigration.gov.ng", but couldn't verify my current passport details. I keep getting the message "The passport details provided by you are not found in the system. Please correct your entry and try again" . Please what could be wrong? I have checked my details and everything is correct (DOB. passport number). |
boneruns:Thanks, I appreciate. |
bigmills:Thanks. I will put that into consideration. |
Please I need advice. I want to move to Ireland for masters with the goal of getting PR after my studies. I discovered that my current profession(Quantity Surveying) and intended course of study (Construction project management) are in the critical skill occupation list, which would increase my chances of getting PR, hence my reason for choosing the country. Please I need clarification on the following 1) The possibility of getting a job as a student. Are there jobs to help offset bills as a student? 2) The possibility of getting a job during/after studies as either a Quantity Surveyor/ Construction Manager/ Project manager (Construction) 3) I want to apply to South East Technological University (Waterford) by next week latest. Is the school recommendable? what is their admission rate, and timeline for processing admission? ( I would like to reach out to anybody studying there) 4) The timeline for Visa approval. My program starts this September. Thanks in anticipation of your kind response(s). |
dimejalex:Run from UK with all the strength you have. |
Please between Austria and Ireland, which is a better country to relocate inconsideration to the following: - Study - Life after study (welfare and ease of getting jobs) - Faster PR. Thanks in advance. |
Please how many years of work permit can one get after masters? And is it easy to get PR in Austria? 🙏🏿 |

You'll need noggings i.e 50mm x 50mm in 1200mm x 1200 placing instead of the conventional 600mm x 600mm Brilliant007: |
Jacku:Thanks for the suggestion. I am not really a fan of techno.. |
shogotermies:I doubt if 450k can get a brand new iPhone 12 pro. What do you think? |
Jacku:. I don't think 450k can get a brand new iPhone 12 pro. What do you think? |
Thanks for your response. To be sincere the phone I first had in mind was iPhone 14 Pro but I find it hard to spend a million plus on a phone. can I get a brand new 12 pro with 450k? I don't feel comfortable using Samsung phones because of the cost of their repairs. |
I intend to get a new phone at the moment and I need suggestions on the best phones to get with a budget of 450K (Brand new). Currently, I have Vivo V29 or One Plus 11 in mind, and I need advice on which of the phones is the best choice. Any suggestions on better phones are welcomed. Thanks in anticipation. |
It all depends on why you are saving in USD. If it's for japa plans, it should not be an issue. If it's for investment then you have to pull out now. Also, if it's for japa plans then you can increase your dollars by selling off the USD you have now and wait till it dips further then buy again and save. |
Ia had this in mind. I would rather go to Austria, Luxembourg or Portugal than go to UK currently... tensazangetsu20: |
Chingyyy878:Convert all your savings to hard currency if you can. |
They should not carry their disappointment to Canada o Canadian man : I want to do a burglary proof for my windows. Saheed welder : Oga it will be ready in 2 weeks just pay advance. 2 months later, them no see burglary proof, them no see saheed welder 😂😂. Canadian woman: I want to do kitchen cabinets for my kitchen Emma carpenter: Okay madam, you need MDF, HDF, UDF, ORF, JDF, 2 x 2, 2 x 5, 2 x 10 etc. Everything and workmanship CAD 8000. It will be ready in 2 weeks. After 6 months of back and forth, Emma carpenter delivers cabinet worth CAD 2500 instead of CAD 8000 😂😂. |
@OP, requesting for advance payment guarantee could have saved you from this mess. Always ensure to engage professionals on your projects, it will save you a lot! |
Dear OP, Personally I would say that 2 things might be the cause of the problem. 1) your wife's success has gotten into her head and her heart is elsewhere. 2) She's really isn't into you. Either she was forced to marry you or she married who's "available". Either ways, I think you couldn't notice these traits because you had a long distance courtship. Try this: do something that will really make her happy and relaxed, then have a deep conversation with her about your union (I recall you saying that you have talked to her but give it a last chance). If after pouring your heart to her and she doesn't give you good reasons why she's acting that way (e.g you doing something wrong in a way) and doesn't change, even after you must have involved her family, then I strongly advice you should start looking for a replacement ASAP (make sure you put your experience from your current wife in good use), and when you find one, let your wife go. Life's too short for nonsense and a man with an unhealthy home is not so far from his grave. Treat your woman like a princess but don't fail to let her know that you have limits to rubbish. If she can be acting this way while working remotely, what will now happen when she goes to work everyday? Most women can't handle success, and I keep telling people that the reason 98% of woman are humble to their husbands especially in Nigeria, is because he's their source of survival. Abroad stories have revealed this. I was able to relate with a couple that the wife's has excess money than the husband and still remained loyal to him (he isn't poor either). Infact this lady is a chain smoker, and I have never liked ladies that smoke but relating with their family, proved to me that character is truly the beauty of a woman. Lastly, to every successful woman that's got her loyalty to her partner and family together, you are the real MVP! |
OP, ether you show him gratitude for paving the way for you, then get materials else where or you buy the materials at his price with the mindset(let him know) that his prices covers for both his selling price and gratitude. I don't think there will be much difference between the 2 options and make sure you establish his selling price and gratitude separately as a basis for negotiation between you two incase of further contracts. |
