you cannot use a dual lnb. The idea is to lock-on two different bird on a single dish. We will be able to achieve it because the birds are close. So using a dual lnb will only lock a single bird.

great job. Kindly you upload your set up pics so as to learn more. So people with 90cm could use your invention and of 65cm will use mine. Or we could open another thread on 90cm.

You'll have to find something to tie the second lnbf. I'll add my set up pictures later. Its kinda rough.

First start by tracking your W4 and achieve a maximum signal quality about 98 on 11900h 27500, lnbf skew at 8.30 and 9. 0 clock while facing the dish. Ensure you are recieving lcf, rts, ohtv frequency. Then proceed to adding another lnbf for your astra 2b.
Now input joytv frequency 12550v19531 then plug the lnbf wire to the decoder. Now below the w4 lnbf at the screw holding your lnbf holder, tweak your lnbf to 8.0clock facing the dish. The lnbf should come from right on the tri rod and should not exceed that screw holding the w4 lnbf holder.

It can be achieved by either adding a new lnbf to an already set up W4/7 or by starting fresh.

For those that does't have space for mounting seperate dish for W4/7 and Astra 2b. You can still have both birds on a single 65cm dish just by adding another lnbf to make a 2in1 set up.

Segunfms, who has the other 30 % in Nigeria. As Hitv, does not have it and is complaining to everyone that DSTV engineered their loss of it, We all know startimes does not show EPL, CTL is still trying to recover from the harassment from HITV. The local stations have some matches( some mondays) that the EPL has dedicated to them which does not even encroach on DSTV's package. So who has the 30% in Nigeria ? .

Di-electrics are used in C-Band setup, They are either glass or ceramic, molded in rectangular form which enters the throat of the C-band LNB to to convert them to receive circular broadcasts.(satellites that are mainly located at the farthest eastern arc positions.

I'm back in lagos sir.
With all the practical experience tapped from all my Oga's on this forum, i was able to nail down my first 7W. In Guinea(west africa) with a 1.8m pan dish. It was a great challenge though.

Unfortunatly, it only required a tweaking for me to nail Olason's bird wey dey fly around Alaba int market. Who knows! I would've been in the HD/Mpeg4 family by now.
But i missed him. Then shooting around alaba without any green for good 6hrs.

N.B
there are two way lightening ,. Either it stuck the power or Main Board program IC! So i hope its power.
There's only one way to figure it out. Which is by testing both power and the main board. And it could be done if only you have same model of that decoder. By interchanging the faulty one with working one.
