In as much I understand making a business decision can be tricky at times but on this one,I don't know if I should applaud your bravery and doggedness so far or if I should question your judgment.Why taking on this risky and costly adventure when there's a shipping port in Oakland CA there.this whole trip shouldn't have cost you more than a day or two.
That Wyoming highway is very dangerous not because of bad road or fears of being robbed but you will have to drive almost 8hrs with no telephone or internet services and God forbid your vehicle breaks down,don't expect police to come to your rescue.you won't even see any police presence on that route except air patrol by helicopter.
Taking this kind of ventures is not always the best.the cons at times surpass the pros.i wish you the best.

Electoral college doesn't fit into the definition of democracy where minority opinion rules.the Republican have always been the beneficiary of the EC if not they would have done away with it.
Besides,only Congressional elections are held every 2years while others are 4 and 6 years respectively.a lot of fortunes could have been affected either way within these periods.
Also there's nothing like checks and balances anywhere,the presidential election is the most important election in a democratic setting.

I don't know what country you are talking about with small roads but in the county I live in the roads we have are far better than the ones I saw in the USA for sure. Then Again I saw a lot of second hand accidented cars in the US, here we use straight from the factory brand new cars that's for a country that produces lots of Cars and exports to other parts of the world.

It happened but on a short distance. This was as a result of pick and drop from one airport to another. To Lagos from Port, the flight landed with passengers from Lagos en route Owerri. Owerri passengers are still on the booked seats.

This rarely happens except may be in Nigeria or the airlines are simply dumb.theres always another boarding pass from every landing and taking off from any airport.

Getting into the plane first has nothing to do with your Seating Arrangement...

Your Seating Arrangement is printed on your boarding Pass...

So even if you entered the Plane First & your Seat Number {32 B} is printed on your boarding pass then you’re only entitled to that particular seat during the course of your flight duration...

You can’t claim entitlement to a particular seat that isn’t printed on your boarding pass...

If paid $52 in advance for a Window Seat then I’m entitled to that particular Seat...

Nobody is going to play funny to me especially when it comes to my right...

The Cabin Crew including the Pilot cannot ask me to move from a Window Seat I already reserved in advance except they have another Window Seat available for me...

Like I said before, I flown a lot of time & I know when I’m wrong & when I’m right...

The only time that I would be willing to move from my Window Seat is if it involves a Pregnant Passenger, Disabled Passenger & Elderly Passenger...

I’m a frequent flier of American Airlines, Delta Airlines & United Airlines...

Priority is usually given to Medallion Members & Members who also posses a Frequent Flier Credit Card during the boarding process

All three Airlines allows you to pick you seat in advance as long as you’re willing to pay for it...

If I pay $52 in advance for Window Seat {32 A} that entitles me to that particular seat during the course of the flight...

Another Passenger cannot claim the right to the seat while a priority customer has already reserved the seat in advance by paying almost $52 for it...

By paying almost $52 the Window Seat {32 A} is printed on my ticket & passengers are always cautioned to make sure they are all at the correct seat as printed in their boarding ticket during a fully boarded flight to a popular destination like New York City...

If their is a confusion as who should be seated at a particular seat, Airline officials usually go by the seat number printed on your ticket inorder to reach a conclusive decision...

If Aisle Seat {32 C} is printed on your ticket you cannot claim the right to Window Seat {32 A}...

However a passenger can decide to switch seats with approval from a fellow passenger that’s entirely up to them...

If it was a Pregnant Women, Elderly Passenger & Disabled Passenger I would have let them have the seat...

But under no other conditions whatsoever would I let someone else to claim the right to my seat...

If it was that important to them the should have paid in advance for it & if they can’t afford it then they should ask nicely for permission from me instead of trying to argue with me & raising their voice unnecessarily...

You quoted some particular airlines and I quoted another.yes people who got into the airplane first always have the liberty to choose their seats first but like i said,it still all depends on your boarding category.
Nobody said you cant claim your seat printed on your boarding pass but we shouldn't take it as war when someone tries to play funny.sometimes the cabin crew can change your seat for whatever reason and there's nothing you can do about it.
Not every airlines charge for seat reservations except you choose to upgrade to premium class.

I love the window seats & usually pick them in advance of my flight even when if it means paying in advance...

There was a time I was flying back to New York City via United Airlines & has to pay $52 for a Window seat & extra legroom...

By the time, I got on the plane a lady had already taken my seat even though our seating arrangement were clearly printed on our flight ticket...

I had to call the attention of one of the flight attendants to move her away from my seat...

I cannot let my $52 to go like that...

The worst part of the whole issue was her trying to claim she is right the whole thing time...

Assuming she explained politely to me that they were traveling together as a group & wanted to seat together maybe I might have changed my mind & let her have my window seat but her attitude left a lot to be desired & as a result I had to act...

I hate aisle seat especially when flying on a long distance flights, window seats are always my favorites...

Not every airline assign seat during booking.southwest airlines don't usually assign seat in advance in most of their flights.its always first come basis which depends on your boarding category.people change seat for whatever reasons and that you got an assigned seat doesn't mean you can't seat eslewhere.i have heard people who got their life changed just by changing seats with other people.we just dont know how fate can play fast games on us.we should learn to circumvent issues in our approach.

A plane crash can be caused by a combined negligence of different actors, or just one.

It could be the pilot, plane operator, plane manufacturer, air traffic controller etc. In all the instances, aviation lawyers often work to determine who is culpable and sue accordingly. Sometimes, they may even sue a part manufacturer, that is a company who sold a part, even if it's a light bulb, and that light bulb led to a crash.

That passengers carry life insurance does not mean plane manufacturers are insured from paying out insurance as well.

People can claim multiple insurance for accidents or other things as the case maybe.

There's statutory life insurance policy from the airline for their passengers in case of happenings like this and not the job of the aircraft manufacturer to insure a third party.
Boeing in this case is a third party to you.they have no business with you.

There is not doubt that ATL airport is not only big but very beautiful. After passing through the TSA, i took a train to Terminal E. I found myself sitting at the waiting gate staring at this big plane going to Zurich. During Boarding, the screen showed one seat available. Does that mean right there, if i decided to go visit Zurich, i can purchase a ticket online at the spot, print out my boarding pass and the hop on the plane going to Zurich without passing tru immigration or someone checking if i have the necessary documents to board the plane because i noticed the agent at the gate was just scanning their tickets ONLY.

Funny you..That you see one seat available doesn't mean its actually vacant,the occupant might still be within the immigration stands.
Secondly,once their main booking gate has closed,you can't access that same flight booking again on any of their platform....either on the internet or at over the counter purchase.any processes associated with that flight is closed.The booking gate and the boarding gate have different interface.one closes for one to open.
ATL is very large though but the enormous human traffic there has somehow rub off its beauty.i still prefer BWI ,MSP or Denver anyway.

The man wasnt telling me what i wanted to hear so I decided to do it the normal way. Website stated $60 money order for expedited and workers at the consulate said its $65. Most of us bought money orders for $65 only for the people doing capturing say unless we have documentations to prove that the need for the passport is urgent, they cant do expedited service for us.

To my face, one of the staffs was telling those producing passport saying "my wife's friend and her kids" are on the way on do biometrics and i want them to do it asap and get their passport. The response i heard was " Just tell them to come in immediately they arrive"... I just shook my head..

But all in all, i have done it and waiting for passport to be mailed..

Well there's always a limit to what anybody can promise or do as most of those things are out of their control,getting passport done is kinda tough now due to shortage of papers.
It's good you did it the proper way and I wonder why you were surprised some are still going through the back door.that is our culture,even if those officials don't want to play balls but what happens when they see so much cash??.the expedited option would have cost you way more but it's all good.Nigeria will get it right now or later.
