Na ignorance, ikot ekpene is yet to have a normal functional daily market, there market are just those normal weekly traditional market unlike orlu (ebe afia na azú) that host IMO state international market
Ikot ekpene is very much rural, like nah better village, a greater number of there indigenes always relocate to bigger cities closer to them (i.e uyo, ABA and umuahia)

They town itself is quite old, and a lovely place

Well you do have some valid points esp about marketing et al however we need to move smartly. Yes ...promote the eastern region but let's not make it HOMOGENEOUS. ie igbo achievements. We need to blur the lines of homogeneity cos the igbophobes ( a majority of other ethnicities) use it as a De-marketing tool. We can blow our trumpets without attributing it to our great ethnicity.
