PoliticsNewly Crowned Thailand King To Pardon 150,000 Prisoners: Including Drug Convicts by NigeriaKitchen(op): 9:57am On Dec 13, 2016
WOW! This is indeed a good news for all the families of affected inmates, especially Nigerian families who have relatives serving jail terms and condemned for drug trafficking offenses! Read the full gist below:

Thailand's new King Maha Vajiralongkorn will pardon or commute the sentences of up to 150,000 prison inmates, including some jailed under one of the world's toughest laws against royal insult, officials said on Tuesday.

King Vajiralongkorn ascended the throne on Dec. 1 after the death of his father, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, on Oct. 13.

"This is the first opportunity since his majesty's ascension to show his mercy," the Royal Gazette said in a statement, announcing that 150,000 inmates could be eligible for release or to have sentences cut, under the pardon.

Officials do not have a figure for the number of inmates who will benefit from the pardon, with decisions to be made by different prisons depending on factors including the inmate's age, how much of the sentence has been served and behaviour.

Prisoners jailed for insulting the monarchy and drug offences will be eligible, said Kobkiat Kasivivat, director general of the Department of Corrections.

"Prisoners convicted of 112 and prisoners convicted of drug offences will be included for consideration for release or commuting of sentence," Kobkiat told Reuters, referring to the royal insult law by its article number in the criminal code.

The government has not released a figure for the number of people who are in jail for royal insult but there have been more than 80 prosecutions under the law since mid-2014, according to figures from the legal monitoring group iLaw.

"The inmates will be looked at on a case by case basis at each individual corrections facility," Chanchao Chaiyanukit, the permanent secretary at the Ministry of Justice, told Reuters.
Those convicted of murder and rape will not be eligible for release or to have sentences cut, officials said.

Thailand's prison population has soared in recent years, largely because of tough drug laws.

Corrections Department figures for July showed a prison population of 321,347 in Thailand, with about 70 percent jailed for drugs offences.

Christianity EtcThe Sins Of Modern Christians: Wake Up Call To Nigerian Christiansl! by NigeriaKitchen(op): 8:05am On Dec 04, 2016
Christianity is gradually transforming into prosperity and success. Is this what Christianity is all about?

When we were young, we were encouraged to go to Church, worship and keep the ten commandments of God because God is our creator, our maker, our Alpha and Omega who deserves our absolute worship, adoration and praise.

We weren't going to Church to get job in oil companies, we weren't going to Church or worshipping God so that God can give us big contract, nor were we worshipping God to get the richest husband or wife.

Sadly today, Christianity has transformed to prosperity kingdom where Christians are told to become born again so that they can become rich, buy the best cars, own private jets, win government contracts, get rich husband or wife‎, secure jobs with big pay, build their dream house faster, get visa to foreign countries, etc.

Please is this what Christianity is all about? If it is so, then it means all the dedicated Christians who don't get‎ good jobs, government contracts, rich husband, rich wife, big cars, houses, foreign visas, etc should going to Church.

Does it mean that all successful Christians are righteous Christians who get all or most of their prayers answered, and all the non-successful/broke/struggling Christians are sinners who don't get answer to their prayers?

It's so sad that today, people mostly become born again or become regular Church goers simply because they need miracle job, miracle husband, miracle wife, miracle house, miracle car, miracle wealth, miracle contract and miracle healing.

Christians no longer care for evangelism to spread good news about Jesus Christ.

When I say 'evangelism', I don't mean disturbing people in the same city like you to leave their Church and come to your own Church. I don't mean standing on the city road to hand over your Church flyers to other people heading to their own Church.

The evangelism I am talking about is the type that brought Jesus Christ's good news to us in Africa, I mean leaving your comfort zone in the city you are currently living in now and going to Sambisa forest to preach the good news about Jesus Christ‎ to the unbelievers there.

I keep wondering why we Christians in the southern part of Nigeria don't mobilize our brethren in numbers to go to Borno, Maiduguri, Yobe, Taraba, Adamawa, etc where the good news about Jesus Christ really need to be spread.

The early missionaries abandoned their beautiful, comfort homes in Europe to embark on dangerous journeys using rickety wooden boats to sail down here in Africa to bring the good news about Jesus Christ to us.

They came with their food, drugs and even used their own money to build missionary schools, hospitals, etc which were either low tuition or entirely free.

Imagine if Winners Chapel, Synagogue Church, Redeem (RCCG), Deeper Life, Assemblies of God, Chosen, Mountain on Fire Ministries (MFM), Apostolic Church, The Apostolic, Jehovah Witeness, Catholic, Anglican, Methodist Church, Christ Embassy, etc join efforts together to mobilize missionaries that will embark on mass evangelism in the northern Nigeria, and then back it up with food relief, free education, free transportation, free hospitals and markets, won't there be great change in Nigeria?

If Nigerian Christians had done this since the past decade or so, believe me, Boko Haram wouldn't have the ground to stand upon neither will they see enough jobless, poor, hungry, illiterate youths to mobilize as religious militants destroying lives and properties.

Instead what we have our Christians and Christians leaders only interested in harvesting in the cities without much stress.

We Christians need to leave the cities and go to the remote villages in the north and south where the good news has not yet been preached fully and tell them about Jesus Christ, and we must back it up with good works like:

1. Free education for the villagers and communities by building and running free tuition modern schools
2. Free medical care by building community health centers where the villagers can go to get treated for free and being funded by Christians in the cities; all Churches will do weekly fund raising for this purpose via welfare offering or something
3. Free clean water and market

This is what Christians should do to make the world a better, safer place for all not just by sitting in their comfort homes in the cities and praying and binding spirit of poverty, spirit of delayed marriage, spirit of unemployment, spirit of marine spouse and spirit of unprosperity which Jesus Christ automatically takes care of the moment we follow him sincerely from our heart.

This is a wake up call to all Nigerian Christians, we must act fast!

God bless His Church, God bless‎ Nigeria!

RomanceI Am Sleeping With My Blood Sister Out Of No Choice- I Need Help! by NigeriaKitchen(op): 8:03am On Dec 02, 2016
A story I am about to share with you was sent to the blog owner by a distressed reader of NgN Blog, I edited some of his words to make it easy to read and understand, but every other words appeared as he sent it to the blog owner.

Please read and advice him in any way you can. Don’t just read and go, it wouldn’t be nice, just give him a honest advice.

As for me, my dear, you definitely need to see a strong man of God for strong deliverance session, and you need to go with your sister too. That’s all I have to say for now, let’s hear what other readers have to say.

STORY STARTS BELOW:

Dear Ma, I want to first thank you for your good work here, I came across your blog on the internet while searching for something, so I felt like you and your readers will be in the position to advice me candidly on what to do to liberate myself from this spell I am in.

I want to first apologize to everyone that will read this my story to please forgive me and just advice me on what I should do because I am so confused and afraid of my future.

I grew up in the village with my siblings- we are six in number, and I am the second child, my parents are poor, so it is not always easy for us to feed back in the village, so my father decided to send me to go and live with one of my uncles who stay in Calabar. Because of this, I dropped out from school just few months to write WAEC because there was no money to register me for WAEC, even though I was the most brilliant student in my class then, my academic dream died, but I never gave up, I continued to educate myself by reading every book I come across, but I couldn’t further and I didn’t learn any handwork or trade because my uncle I was living with turned me into his house boy- I cook, I clean, wash and do every household work even though he is married with grown up children who never helps with the household works.

After many years of living with my uncle, he refused to help me, and I was already 25 years, so my elder sister who struggled on her won to acquire university degree, and later got a job in Lagos, invited me to Lagos to learn trade in order for her to assist me startup a business that will help me become a man, so I packed my loads and travelled to Lagos to meet my elder sister.

I started living with my sister; she lives in one room self-content, so we share the same bedroom and bed, and it wasn’t a problem until one evening.

That evening, I returned from where I was learning how to sow clothe, and then I helped to boil rice for our dinner, we already have stew in the small fridge- she usually prepares stew in large quantity, which we do store in the fridge, to be used gradually. It wasn’t long, my sister returned from work too, it was around 7:30 pm when she returned, and I served her food, and also took my own, and we ate happily like before and I thanked her and then switched on the television to watch film, but it wasn’t long NEPA took light, so I went to bed to sleep, and by then, my sister was in the bathroom taking her bathe.

When she came out of the bathroom, she was tying only towel that covered only her breast, leaving her waist and all visible, I intentionally closed my eyes and tried to sleep before she then changed into her transparent night gown and then joined me on the bed.

Few minutes after she joined me on the bed, it started raining heavily with thunder strikes that even scared me, and unknowingly, my sister was also scared by the thunder storms, so she mistakenly out of fear held me so close from the back, and we stayed so close like that I began to feel her breast pressing on my back, and before I know it, my manhood began to stand.

I tried controlling myself by trying all my best to think of something to take my mind away from the sensation I was feeling deep in me, but it was as if she herself was also feeling the same sensation as she drew even closer and held me tight I froze with fear, and as time went on, I forgot she was my sister when she gradually slid her hands down my boxers (I don’t like sleeping with trouser) and held my already standing manhood, and that was how we started cuddling, kissing and caressing each other as the rain continued to fall heavily.

Within few minutes, I was on top of my elder sister, while she moaned and cried. We did it, and before morning, we had another sex as if we were lovers, and that was how it all began.

We couldn’t stop again, it was as if both of were helpless, so we continued even though we always regret after the act, but we can’t just stop. I have tried, but she will come begging, kneeling down and crying that I should not abandon her after all we have shared. Sometimes I feel like running away, but there is no place I can run to, and I am even afraid to tell anyone this because I am so ashamed of myself even as I write this.

To be honest with you, I have impregnated her thrice, and she aborted it to avoid our parents and people from knowing our secret. Now, my sister hates guys, even handsome rich guys keep asking her out, but she will never agree to date them, and same thing is happening to me- I can’t even admire any girl, I am just so used to her right now. Please is it not possible for us to marry? What would happen if we marry? She once told me that we can marry without any problem, and she almost convinced me when she asked me how the first human beings started producing children, that didn’t they married their blood relations?

Please someone should advice me, I am so confused right now, I need your help. Thank you so much Ma, please publish my story please, and don’t put my name.
