Foreign Affairs / Dilma Rousseff Impeached By Brazilian Senate! by NigeriaKitchen: 5:49pm On Aug 31, 2016
Brazil's Senate has voted to remove President Dilma Rousseff from office for manipulating the budget.
It puts an end to 13 years in power of her left-wing Workers' Party. Ms Rousseff denies the charges.
Sixty-one senators voted in favour of her impeachment and 20 against, meeting the two-thirds majority needed to remove her from the presidency.
Acting President Michel Temer will serve out Ms Rousseff's term, which ends on 1 January 2019.

Mr Temer, from the centre-right PMDB party, is expected to be officially sworn in later on Wednesday.
'Coup d'etat'
Ms Rousseff had been suspended in May after the Senate voted to go ahead with the impeachment process.

She was accused of moving funds between government budgets, which is illegal under Brazilian law.
Her critics said she was trying to plug deficit holes in popular social programmes to boost her chances of being re-elected for a second term in October 2014.

Ms Rousseff fought the allegations, which she said amounted to a coup d'etat.
She argued that her right-wing political rivals had been trying to remove her from office ever since she was re-elected.

Born in 1947, grew up in an upper middle class household in Belo Horizonte
Her father was Bulgarian immigrant and an ex-communist
Joined left-wing movement against Brazil's military dictatorship which had seized power in 1964
Detained in 1970 and imprisoned for three years
Subjected to torture including electric shocks for her role in the underground resistance
Came to political prominence as the protege of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who governed Brazil from 2003 to 2011
Sworn in as Brazil's first female president in 2011
Re-elected to a second term in 2014
Impeached on 31 August 2016
"From the day after I was elected, several measures were taken to destabilise my government. And you have been systematically making accusations against me," she said when she defended herself in the Senate on Monday.
She said that she was being ousted because she had allowed a wide-ranging corruption investigation to go ahead which resulted in many high-profile politicians being charged.

Analysis by Daniel Gallas, BBC South Americas Business Correspondent
Dilma Rousseff's impeachment trial in the Senate has raised important questions about Brazil's democratic institutions.
Was she ousted for having committed a crime - or was that just a pretext to remove a president who had lost control of the economy and politics?
Her fiscal manoeuvres were thoroughly examined during the sessions, but it was not just that which was on trial.
Her government policies, her U-turn on the economy after the election and corruption in her party were constantly part of the debate.
Also, as the trial unfolded, Michel Temer's interim government started its work reforming the economy and outlining new policies.
Senators - and Brazilians - knew that the question of condemning Ms Rousseff went beyond just deciding technically whether she was guilty or not.
Read Daniel Gallas' analysis in full
But senators who voted in favour of her impeachment said it was Ms Rousseff and the Workers' Party who were corrupt and needed to go.
Brazilians have been divided on the issue, with many expressing their support and loyalty to Ms Rousseff while others have taken part in large demonstrations demanding that she stand down.

Mr Temer, who will govern until 1 January 2019, has promised to boost Brazil's economy, which is going through its longest and deepest recession in the past quarter of a century.
His critics have already warned that he plans to cut many of the popular social programmes introduced by the Workers' Party.

Travel / Over 6500 African Migrants Including Nigerians En Route Italy Rescued Off Libya by NigeriaKitchen: 7:57am On Aug 30, 2016
Migrants, most of them from Eritrea, jump onto the water from a crowded wooden boat as they are helped by members of an NGO during a rescue operation at the Mediterranean sea, about 13 miles north of Sabratha, Libya. Thousands of migrants and refugees from Africa, including Nigerians trying to make it to Europe were rescued Monday morning from more than 20 boats by members of Proactiva Open Arms NGO before transferring them to the Italian cost guards and others NGO vessels operating at the zone.

The Italian coastguard said it had coordinated the rescue on Monday of about 6,500 refugees off Libya in one of its busiest days of life-saving in recent years.

Dramatic images showed refugees wearing life jackets jumping off one of their boats into the Mediterranean and swimming toward rescuers.

“The command centre coordinated 40 rescue operations” that included vessels from Italy, humanitarian organisations as well as the EU’s border agency Frontex, and “saved 6,500 migrants”, the coastguard wrote on Twitter.

On Sunday more than 1,100 refugees were rescued in the same area, though August has been slightly less busy than years past. The total number of arrivals in Italy this year, prior to Monday’s rescues, was at around 105,000, according to the UN refugee agency.

More than 3,000 refeugees have died at sea while trying to reach either Greece or Italy since the start of this year, an increase of some 50 per cent on the same period in 2015.

Celebrities / Finally The Girl Usain Bolt Had One-night Stand With Speaks Out! [PHOTOS] by NigeriaKitchen: 8:56am On Aug 26, 2016
The woman who was photographed boo’d up with Usain Bolt is finally speaking out about her sexual encounter with the Jamaican track star.

20-year-old Jady Duarte says she has not spoken to Usain since their one night stand, and she’s a little disappointed because she thought they had something special! LOL

“I really thought we had something going. But now I can see that he picks up women as quickly as he picks up gold medals.” – Jady Duarte

The two met at a club in Rio, and Usain approached Jady and her friends, lifted up his shirt and showed them his six pack.

“I had never seen anything like it. I just had to reach out and stroke it. It felt incredible. The muscles were as hard as stone. But I was paying so much attention to his abs that at first I didn’t even notice it was Usain Bolt.” – Jady Duarte

Later, the Olympian’s bodyguard encouraged her to leave the club with them. She said she was playing hard to get at first, but she later gave in.

As they waited for a taxi, Usain did his “famous victory pose,” and that’s when she realized who he was.

Once they got back to the Olympic Village, they used Google translator to communicate…but Jady said she didn’t need a translator to let her know Usain wanted that azz!

But unfortunately, Jady was disappointed with his package…

“He played the Rihanna song ‘Work.’ I think he likes to listen to it when he makes love. It was very passionate and hot — we were devouring one another. He has the body of a champion although his male parts do not match — he is just like a regular guy. I was expecting him to be fast but it was actually the slowest sex I’ve ever had. We did it for about 40 minutes then he took a couple of minutes rest before we did it again. He was certainly quick at recovering, but we didn’t have sex a third time.” – Jady Duarte

In the end, she says she feels “shameless” because she has now realized she’s “just another one of his girls.”

I never imagined that he had a girlfriend or so many women. He’s a great-looking guy, a huge star — but he is shameless. It was a good experience and the sex was good, but now I just feel like just another one of his girls. – Jady Duarte

Sports / HILARIOUS PHOTOS Of Athletes Diving For Gold Medal At Rio 2016 Olympics by NigeriaKitchen: 3:17pm On Aug 16, 2016
In a desperate lunge at the finish line, Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas won the women’s 400 meters at the Rio Olympics on Monday night, defeating Allyson Felix of the United States.

Running in Lane 7 and leading down the stretch, Miller apparently could sense that Felix was closing fast on the inside. With four strides remaining, Miller began to dive toward the finish line like a runner trying to steal second base.

The maneuver actually may have slightly slowed Miller, 22, as she began to put less force into the ground to propel herself forward. Still, Miller’s torso crossed first, as required by the rules, and she took the gold medal in 49.44 seconds, her personal best.

Miller remained on the track on her back until she was declared the winner in a photo finish. Felix, seeking to become the first woman to win five Olympic gold medals in track and field, took second in 49.51.

The result was disappointing for Felix, who had hoped to win gold medals at 200 and 400 meters. She did not qualify for the Olympic 200. She still has a chance to win a gold medal in the 4x400 relay, which is scheduled to begin Friday.

Politics / 'nigerian Prince' Arrested For International $60 Million Email Fraud Scheme by NigeriaKitchen: 6:52am On Aug 03, 2016
The head of an international criminal network behind thousands of online frauds has been arrested in a joint operation by INTERPOL and the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

The 40-year-old Nigerian national, known as ‘Mike’, is believed to be behind scams totalling more than USD 60 million involving hundreds of victims worldwide. In one case a target was conned into paying out USD 15.4 million.

The network compromised email accounts of small to medium businesses around the world including in Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Romania, South Africa, Thailand and the US, with the financial victims mainly other companies dealing with these compromised accounts.

Heading a network of at least 40 individuals across Nigeria, Malaysia and South Africa which both provided malware and carried out the frauds, the alleged mastermind also had money laundering contacts in China, Europe and the US who provided bank account details for the illicit cash flow.

Following his arrest in Port Harcourt in southern Nigeria, a forensic examination of devices seized by the EFCC showed he had been involved in a range of criminal activities including business e-mail compromise (BEC) and romance scams.

The main two types of scam run by the 40-year-old targeted businesses were payment diversion fraud – where a supplier’s email would be compromised and fake messages would then be sent to the buyer with instructions for payment to a bank account under the criminal’s control – and ‘CEO fraud’.

In CEO fraud, the email account of a high-level executive is compromised and a request for a wire transfer is sent to another employee who has been identified as responsible for handling these requests. The money is then paid into a designated bank account held by the criminal.

‘Mike’ first came onto the law enforcement radar through a report provided to INTERPOL by Trend Micro, one of its strategic partners at the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) in Singapore. This, combined with actionable analysis and intelligence from Fortinet Fortiguard Labs in 2015, enabled specialists at the INTERPOL Digital Crime Centre, including experts from Cyber Defense Institute based at the IGCI, and the EFCC to locate the suspect in Nigeria, resulting in his arrest in June.

Abdul Chukkol, Head of the EFCC’s Cybercrime Section said the transnational nature of business e-mail compromise makes it complex to crack, but the arrest sent a clear signal that Nigeria could not be considered a safe haven for criminals.

“For a long time we have said in order to be effective, the fight against cybercrime must rely on public-private partnerships and international cooperation,” said Mr Chukkol.

“The success of this operation is the result of close cooperation between INTERPOL and the EFCC, whose understanding of the Nigerian environment made it possible to disrupt the criminal organization’s network traversing many countries, targeting individuals and companies,” added Mr Chukkol.

Noboru Nakatani, Executive Director of the IGCI warned that BEC poses a significant and growing threat, with tens of thousands of companies victimized in recent years.

“The public, and especially businesses, need to be alert to this type of cyber-enabled fraud,” said Mr Nakatani.

“Basic security protocols such as two-factor authentication and verification by other means before making a money transfer are essential to reduce the risk of falling victim to these scams.

“It is exactly through this type of public and private sector cooperation that INTERPOL will continue to help member countries in bringing cybercriminals to justice no matter where they are,” concluded Mr Nakatani.

The 40-year-old, along with a 38-year-old also arrested by Nigerian authorities, faces charges including hacking, conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretences. Both are currently on administrative bail as the investigation continues.

For those making mockery of Jefferson's death....remember, other Igbo guys were killed with him but nobody is talking about them probably because they were guilty as charged.....but everyone keep saying Jefferson was innocent of the crime, so be careful with your rejoicing....so affliction like this doesn't befall you tomorrow, that's my little advice to you all

Stop going to Indonesia, and stop the drug habit. What is wrong with Igbos and the mentality of getting rich quickly and overnight?

These killings are just senseless. Our deplomatic relationship with this law-monger country is just pathetic. Our govt is so corrupt and inefficient that a country like Indonesia wouldn't even listen to our pleas.

Igbo parents should also stop putting high demands on their children. They should teach them ethics, honesty and hardwork. Igbo parents should also stop marketing their daughters for selfish gains. Unmarried Igbo girls should be able to provide for their parents and be independent. This way, their guys won't have to resort to criminal activities in order to pay dowries.
I condemn drug business in all totality, but in Jefferson's case, he was innocent...and you could be a victim of such injustice tomorrow that's why we all must speak out against evil and injustice whenever it happens no matter who it happens to.

If Jefferson was caught physically with the hard drugs, then I won't be here sympathizing with him!

Any person caught in possession of hard drugs should face the judgment!

Indonesian government should change their skewed law....make it physical possession or if the substance is caught with you or in your own personal apartment, then no sympathy, but Jefferson's case is so wrong!

...and many non-Igbos rejoicing here since thought this man boarded a flight from Nigeria to Indonesia with drugs in his bags or body and got caught at the Indonesian airport, and got arrested and later got sentenced to death and shot finally....but many of them now are feeling bad because they have now realized that this man was an employer of labor, a big man, a rich man in Nigerian term.....but because one of his stupid employees helped some drug barons to hid drugs in his room, this man's life got snatched from him for a crime he never committed.

To all those rejoicing and saying its good....think about this....you don't know where life would take u to tomorrow...you may travel out of this country to study, to work, to open a company...and maybe your roommate, your colleague, your employee or friend commits a crime and you get arrested and viola, you get killed because of the crime of someone else you never know about.

To those saying the man ought to know what his employees do in the rooms he gave them, how Even your parents, your siblings don't even know what and what you keep in your room...some of you ladies hide intimate machine in your room, some of your guys hide condoms and even cigarettes in your rooms away from your parents and siblings, so if one day Police comes and finds these things in your room, so your parents and siblings deserves to be killed for what they didnt know right

Karma is watching....let's all be careful with what we say or wish others in this life.....it may be him today, tomorrow maybe you or your loved one.

“He is not just a blesser, we are in love and I am grateful for all that he has done for me, much love. Xo xo.”

Politics / Many Secret Things You Didn't Know About New UK Female Prime Minister by NigeriaKitchen: 8:43am On Jul 12, 2016
Theresa May is set to become Britain's next prime minister, lauded by her supporters as a safe pair of hands who can steer the country out of the European Union.

One of the most experienced members of the government, May favoured staying in the European Union, but her support during last month's referendum campaign was qualified and low-key.

Since the vote, she has made clear that 'Brexit means Brexit'.

She is now the only candidate to succeed David Cameron in a Conservative Party leadership race after energy minister Andrea Leadsom abruptly withdrew.

Below is a summary of May's background and key quotes.

HOW SHE GOT HERE

The daughter of a Church of England vicar, May studied geography at Oxford University, joining the Bank of England after her studies. She worked as a financial consultant at the Association for Payment Clearing Services (APACS) before becoming a lawmaker for Maidenhead, west of London, in 1997.

She became chairman of the Conservative Party in 2002, famously telling supporters at its conference that year that people saw them as "the nasty party".

She has been Home Secretary (interior minister) since 2010.

By next month she will have held the job, one of the toughest in British politics, for longer than anyone else for a century.

"I know I'm not a showy politician," she said when she announced her bid to become prime minister in June. "I don't tour the television studios. I don't gossip about people over lunch. I don't go drinking in parliament's bars. I don't often wear my heart on my sleeve. I just get on with the job in front of me."

WHAT SHE HAS SAID ON BREXIT

"Brexit means Brexit. The campaign was fought, the vote was held, turnout was high, and the public gave their verdict. There must be no attempts to remain inside the EU, no attempts to rejoin it through the back door, and no second referendum." (June 30)

"I don't think we should see people as Brexiteers and Remainers now. We have a job to do in making the best deal we can in coming out of the EU and I am very clear that I will deliver Brexit." (July cool

ON WHEN TO TRIGGER ARTICLE 50 OF LISBON TREATY AND LAUNCH DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS WITH THE EU

"There should be no decision to invoke Article 50 until the British negotiating strategy is agreed and clear - which means Article 50 should not be invoked before the end of this year." (June 30)

ON THE EU SINGLE MARKET, TRADE AND FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT

"We should make clear that for the foreseeable future there is absolutely no change in Britain's trading relationships with the EU or other markets." (June 30)

"What's important for us though, is that we get the right deal, and that's a deal that is about controlling free movement, but it's also about ensuring that we've got the best deal possible in trade, in goods and services." (July 3)

"I want to be clear that as we conduct our negotiations, it must be a priority to allow British companies to trade with the single market in goods and services - but also to regain more control of the numbers of people who come here from Europe." (June 30)

"I'm very clear that Brexit vote gave us a very clear message from people, that we couldn't allow freedom of movement to continue as it had done hitherto.

"We need to bring control into movement of people coming into the UK from the EU... Still I believe we should have that goal of bringing immigration down to sustainable levels." (July 3)

BRITAIN'S ECONOMY

"We should no longer seek to reach a budget surplus by the end of the Parliament. If before 2020 there is a choice between further spending cuts, more borrowing and tax rises, the priority must be to avoid tax increases since they would disrupt consumption, employment and investment." (June 30)

"In the coming weeks I will set out (how) to take our economy through this period of uncertainty, to get the economy growing strongly across all parts, to deal with Britain's long-standing productivity problem, to create more well-paid jobs, to negotiate the best terms for Britain's departure from the EU and to forge a new role for ourselves in the world." (July 11)

ON DEFENCE, AND REPLACING BRITAIN'S NUCLEAR DETERRENT

"A Conservative government I lead will make a strong defence an important priority. It is vital for our national interest that we maintain what is the most significant security and military capability in Europe - backed up by our commitment to spend 2 per cent of gross domestic product on defence.

"In particular, it is crucial that we maintain our independent nuclear deterrent. It would be sheer madness to contemplate even for a moment giving up Britain's independent nuclear deterrent...

"We need a full fleet of four submarines, capable between them of providing what the military call 'Continuous At Sea Deterrence', or permanent, around-the-clock cover." (July 4)

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

"The FTSE (share index), for example, is trading at about the same level as it was 18 years ago and it is nearly 10 percent below its high peak. Yet in the same period executive pay has more than trebled and there is an irrational, unhealthy and growing gap between what these companies pay their workers and what they pay their bosses.

"I want to make shareholder votes on corporate pay not just advisory but binding. I want to see more transparency, including the full disclosure of bonus targets and the publication of 'pay multiple' data: that is, the ratio between the CEO's pay and the average company worker's pay.

"And I want to simplify the way bonuses are paid so that bosses' incentives are better aligned with the long-term interests of the company and its shareholders.

"I also want us to be prepared to use - and reform - competition law so that markets work better for people. If there is evidence that the big utility firms and the retails banks are abusing their roles in highly consolidated markets, we shouldn't just complain about it, we shouldn't say it's too difficult, we should do something about it.

"If I'm prime minister, we're going to change the system- and we're going to have not just consumers represented on company boards, but employees as well." (July 11)

TAX

"It doesn't matter to me whether you're Amazon, Google or Starbucks, you have a duty to put something back, you have a debt to your fellow citizens, you have a responsibility to pay your taxes. So as prime minister, I will crack down on individual and corporate tax avoidance and evasion." (July 11)

PRODUCTIVITY/INVESTMENT

"I want to see an energy policy that emphasises the reliability of supply and lower costs for users. A better research and development policy that helps firms to make the right investment decisions.

"More Treasury-backed project bonds for new infrastructure projects. More house building. A proper industrial strategy to get the whole economy firing. And a plan to help not one or even two of our great regional cities but every single one of them." (July 11)

FOREIGN CORPORATE TAKEOVERS

"Two years ago the Government almost allowed AstraZeneca to be sold to Pfizer, the US company with a track record of asset stripping and whose self-confessed attraction to the deal was to avoid tax.

"A proper industrial strategy wouldn't automatically stop the sale of British firms to foreign ones, but it should be capable of stepping in to defend a sector that is as important as pharmaceuticals is to Britain." (July 11)

PERSONAL LIFE

May has Type One diabetes and needs insulin injections several times a day. She describes herself as a practising Christian and says she owns over 100 cookery books.

"I think it's important that you are on top of things, you're on top of your brief, you work hard in your brief. But I think if the view is that somehow that I was a control freak and that people didn't get on and like my style, we wouldn't have a majority of ministers who're worked with me actually backing me for Prime Minister." (July 3)

Celebrities / See How Miss Bum Bum Begged Messi Not To Retire From International Football by NigeriaKitchen: 10:36am On Jun 30, 2016
Do you remember Suzy Cortez? She’s the Miss BumBum Brazil pageant holder who posted so many revealing photos in a Messi shirt that Messi’s girlfriend blocked her on Instagram.

Anyway, just to inform you that she hasn't repented from crushing and going gaga about Barcelona soccer star, Lionel Messi, and what she did this time is even crazier, lol

Messi recently retired from international football, after missing a penalty in Argentina’s Copa America final loss to Chile. The country has since began a massive campaign to win their star player back.

Despite being Brazilian, Cortez has joined the fray to beg Messi to come back. In a series of posts on Instagram, she pleads with Messi to return, posing seductively in his Argentina jersey, of course.

“The Argentinian genius who plays for my Barcelona is full of character and humility which is somewhat different to the Brazilian team.” She wrote in one of her posts.

“Don’t go Lio. Come on Barca.”

Since Messi retired, Argentina’s President Mauricio Marci and legendary forward Diego Maradona have begged him to come back, and a statue has even been erected in Buenos Aires in his honour.

On top of all that, if this lovely seductress doesn’t get Leo to come back, nothing will.

Romance / 7 Popular Reasons Ladies Marry Guys That Always Lead Them To Regrets by NigeriaKitchen: 7:47am On Jun 25, 2016
‎Love is a beautiful thing, no doubt, but when we confuse lust for love and claim to be in love just because our selfish desires and wants have been met, it can only lead us to a life of regrets later.

In this short article, we will be taking a look at some of the vague reasons or factors that majority of 21st ladies consider before agreeing to marry a man, and of course these reasons usually cause most single ladies to end up making the wrong choice of life partner, which in turn lands them in unhappy marriages that usually lead to divorce.

Remember, we didn't write this article to spite single ladies or to encourage single guys out there not to work hard and groom, but to enlighten both the male and female singles on the need to consider more meaningful things that will not expose them to making the wrong choice of marriage partner.

Now, what are those vague reasons why majority of ladies marry the wrong man?

1. Height

Researches have shown that majority of women consider height of a man first before even considering his manner and character when it comes to accepting and rejecting a date or suitor.

Many women are in unhappy marriages today where they are being used as the punching bag by their presumed husbands simply because they were obsessed by the man's height initially, and turned down several wonderful men who came asking them out simply because those men were not tall or didn't appear as tall as they wished in their small feminine mind.

Ladies, it's high time to make adjustment; height is never a determinant of good husband, neither does height of the man always determine how tall his children will be‎.

2. Job/Profession

In as much as this seem to be normal, I want to disappoint you ladies today by telling you that a man's present job or profession is never a determinant of who he will become in some years to come, and you know why? Things are changing; those profession you think are useless today may become the hot-in-demand profession tomorrow as more and more people clinge on the popular professions, thereby making them common and less demanding in the market.

And again, remember that people lose their job on daily basis irrespective of their position? That should be a good reason for you not to select partner based on his present job, because he may lose that big job you saw today tomorrow.

I know once a single lady hears: I am a doctor, they start to dream about their wedding day with the young doctor, and when they hear; I work with shell, they begin to plan the wedding ahead. These attitudes have landed so many ladies in unhappy marriages that they ended up not seeing the end, while some rushed out of the marriage faster than they rushed into it.

3‎. Apartment

As shocking as it may sound, do you know that so many ladies got married to a man simply because he was living in a posh apartment with that cozy setting? Little wonder why some single guys spend their last penny renting and furnishing their apartment to entice ladies.

Ladies please listen and listen up; beautiful apartment is good, but don't rush into agreement of marriage to him simply because he's living in one of the coolest apartments in town; he could have rented it when things were okay, it could be a fast deal that brought in the money he used to rent and furnish it, and such deals are never sustainable remember? Think ladies, think!

4. Car

I once overheard a group of successful young men mention that with the way and manner Nigerian women get freaky about car, that it seems Nigerian women's brain were used in manufacturing the bolts and nuts of cars, ‎and I couldn't stop myself from laughing out loud lol.

When will ladies stop being freaky about men's car? Even the ladies that own cars and those their parents and siblings are driving expensive cars can't stop getting freaky and hypnotized by guys in fancy cars, why ladies, why?

Car shouldn't be a measure of wealth or readiness of a man because there are guys who own successful businesses without owning a car, whereas there are guys that are earning below ₦100,000 a month salary and own very clean car that you may end up thinking they are managers of their own company.

What determines a man's future is not his material possessions now, but his intellectual possession, goals and drive‎ for success.

Some guys you see trekking on the road now are richer than some men you see seated at the car owner seat of the latest Toyota Land Cruiser SUV, and only time can unveil that hidden secret, so look beyond his present condition now and consider his goals, ambition, determination, plans and actions.

With the latest cars in vogue now, I wonder how women that got enticed and impregnated ‎by men because of Mercedes Benz v-boot and Mercedes Benz 190 will be feeling now when they see the car pass by.

One thing ladies must understand about life is this: good things can never finish, because your man isn't driving a Honda End of Discussion today doesn't mean he wouldn't drive a better car tomorrow, give him time, and stop concluding his future because of his condition now, remember, only time can determine who and what we will become in life!

5. Six Pack and broad shoulders!

As funny as it may sound, do you know that many ladies are getting married to guys just because of six packs?

I several occasions, I have overheard ladies fantasize about marrying a guy with six packs, how they crave to run their fingers on his‎ broad shoulders and six packs while making love, and to them, that's enough reason to say 'I do' to him and turn down the other no-six-pack, no-broad-shoulder wonderful men with marriageable qualities, I pity your children when hunger strikes!

Does Alike Dangote, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Carlos Slim, Mr. Forest, David Cameron, Vladmir Putin, Muhammadu Buhari, Goodluck Jonathan, Barrack Obama, David Trump, TB Joshua, David. Oyedepo, Adeboye, Chris Oyakhilome, Rochas Okorocha, Mike Adenuga, Ben Murray Bruce, Pat Utomi, etc have six packs Ladies think!

Six packs, broad shoulders, pink lips, sexy lips, rich hair, etc are physical qualities ‎any man that has the means can acquire with little time, dedication and budget, but those qualities that make a man honorable, successful and respectable can never be bought or acquired, I am talking about qualities like:

- humility
- being focused
- being intelligent
- being smart and witty
- being endearing
- being slow to anger
- visionary
- being determined
- being contented
- not being lazy
- being faithful
- being trustworthy
- being dependable
- being domestic
- being God fearing

‎6. Sex

In as much as sex is a very vital factor in marriage, saying 'I do' to a man simply because he can satisfy you sexually is as disastrous as falling for a man because he's driving a latest car, and you know why? Because his sex drive may change tomorrow when life pressure, financial pressure and daily routine start to wear him out.

Don't compare how your university or Polytechnic campus boyfriend makes love to you to how a mature man hustling to make money will‎ make love to you, of course the campus boy will perform better most times since he's not worried about many things.

Our sex drive and performance is mostly determined by our state of mind and stress level.

That guy that doesn't perform well in bed today may become expert tomorrow if he becomes relaxed and commits his mind to the act, so don't turn him down simply because he can't perform as you desire now, you can even help him become an expert by passionately showing him the way.

7. Visa & Travel Opportunity

Nothing freaks a Nigerian girl like the fantasy of living abroad and living that fantasy life she watches on Telemundo, Zee World and Hollywood movies.

Yes, we all desire a good life, but don't slaughter your future happiness out of selfish quest for momentary satisfaction of your fantasy.

Who said you can't live your dream life here in Nigeria? Who said you must travel abroad to live a fulfilled life? Who said living abroad automatically makes you rich? Who said all people living abroad are living‎ a good life? Who said you can't make it successful in Nigeria?

Please emancipate you‎rself from mental slavery; living abroad doesn't make you rich.

Many ladies have rushed to marry a guy simply because he lives abroad, only to travel to meet him and discover that he's not as rich as they thought, and not living a fancy life as the pictures they saw.

Remember, I am not saying it's wrong to marry a guy living abroad, but please don't make the decision mainly because he lives abroad to avoid later regrets.

Before you agree or disagree to marry any man, please ladies seek for God's guide. God is a merciful God, irrespective of our sins, He is still our father and will always answer our sincere prayers to Him.

Stop using your human wisdom, fantasy, greed and selfish desires to select men if you don't want to regret later in life.

Wishing you guys the best of luck in your life's decisions.

Romance / Dad Spends $900 On Full-page Newspaper Dating Advert For His Son by NigeriaKitchen: 7:42am On Jun 24, 2016
Salt Lake City bachelor Baron Brooks was surprised to learn that his father paid $900 on a dating advertisement that he wrote on Baron’s behalf in the Coeur d’Alene Press.

In the ad, Baron’s father, Arthur of Beverly Hills, Calif., indicates important qualities and “musts” these potential daughter-in-laws must have. Arthur describes Baron as “48 years old, live in Salt Lake City, and never been married.” While pictures are a necessity on newspaper dating ads, Arthur Brooks’ photograph of his son is admittedly outdated. The ad says, “I look just like my picture except now I have gray hair.”

Traits for the women range from “flexible” to rigid. Political beliefs, for instance, are non-negotiable. The ad states, “You must be politically conservative. This is very important to me. If you voted for Obama or plan to vote for Hillary you are not for me.” This may align with Arthur’s own political beliefs after he was allegedly drawn to Coeur d’Alene for its conservative politics, according to The Spokesman Review. Another vital attribute includes height requirements: “I am 5’5” and if you are 5’8” & like to wear high heels it may not work.”

Brooks—a health shop owner—was fully unaware of his father’s actions. He claims,

“My father did this without my consent. I can’t even describe to you how embarrassing and ridiculous this is.” Arthur Brooks apparently is suffering from long-term health problems and yearns for a grandchild to keep the family name.

Brooks may be “infuriated” about the process, but he is still allowing his father to interview potential candidates. Talk about a real meet-cute.

Foreign Affairs / Check Out The Heartbreaking Condition Of Prisoners At Ghana Prison [photo/video] by NigeriaKitchen: 9:11am On Jun 23, 2016
The picture you can see above is the real condition of a prison in Ghana. What you are seeing according to our Ghanaian eyewitness is nothing compared to other prisons in Ghana, which leaves one wondering what the inmates would become after passing through this place that is supposed to be a reform and rehabilitation centre.

Little wonder prison inmates in most West African countries come out worse, hard-heartened than they were before...which calls for urgent government attention.

Even animals don't deserve this inhumane treatment these inmates are passing through. You can watch the heartbreaking video here>>http://www.ngnblog.com/2016/06/heartbreaking-condition-of-inmates-at.html
