Religion / Paki Court Sentences 5 Muslims To Death For Killing Christian Couple 4 Blasphemy by NigeriaKitchen: 6:13pm On Nov 23, 2016
Pakistan Court Sentences 5 People to Death For Killing Christian Couple They Accused of ‘Blasphemy’ Against Islam!

This is highly commendable because if it were to be in Nigeria, the perpetrators will walk away freely smiling and Nigerian government and the judiciary needs to emulate Pakistan on this if they truly want to curb the rising religious extremism that has been going on in the northern part of Nigeria. If Pakistan, a more Muslim nation can do this, why can't Nigeria

Read the sad news below:

A Pakistani anti-terror court sentenced five people to death on Wednesday over the killing of a Christian couple who were lynched and burned in a kiln after being falsely accused of blasphemy.

The deaths of Shahzad Masih and Shama Bibi caused outrage in Pakistan and saw other Christian families living near their home in Punjab flee the area in fear.

The illiterate couple had been falsely accused of tossing out pages of the Koran along with the rubbish, desecrating the Muslim holy book.

Blasphemy is legally punishable by death in the deeply conservative Muslim country, where even unproven accusations can stir violence.

Critics say the laws are abused to wage personal vendettas, often against Christians.

Witnesses described how an angry mob of hundreds of people set upon the couple near the town of Kot Radha Kishan in Punjab in 2014, attacking them and then throwing their bodies into a brick kiln.

It is unclear whether they were still alive when tossed into the kiln.

Riaz Anjum, the lawyer representing the couple’s family, said a total of 103 people had been charged in the case. But the court in the eastern city of Lahore had acquitted 90, including the owner of the brick kiln.

He had been accused of locking the couple up as they tried to flee for fear they would default on their debt to him.

Apart from the five sentenced to hang, eight others were given two years’ imprisonment.

“The five people awarded the death sentence were involved in dragging, beating and burning the couple while the other eight played a supportive role according to the judgement,” Anjum said.

Senior prosecutor Khurram Khan confirmed the ruling.

Police have traditionally been reluctant to clamp down on mob violence for fear of enraging Islamists, a fact not lost upon the relatives of the deceased.

It was not clear when the death sentences would be carried out.

After the attack it emerged that the couple had been falsely accused.

Shahzad’s father, a faith healer who used pages with inscriptions in many languages for his work, had died shortly before the incident. The family was burning documents that belonged to him.

The yorubas love lies like sardine

What Fayose said is nothing but the truth and the truth

but the afonjas will always find a way to rubbish whatever that eulogizes the great IGBO spirit and u are seriously telling me afonjas with such a trait will stand alone as a entity hm

Look here as messed up as this zoooooo zooooo ooo country we are living in is, Anambra has seriously demonstrated the attribution of great igbo spirit which will eventually over-run odudua and the rest of Africa

Now listen, i have a friend who is going out with a Kenya lady and you know what this lady said; she like Igbos and she does not like yorubas. She said to my guy; u need to come down to kenya to witness the way Igbos drive the Indians out of their market.

We are specially made by the most high God yah; Chukwuabiahma. Chukwu Okike, Afonja we are not mate menhhh. The only problem is a lot of Igbos dnt know who they are; if they know Nigeria will burn over night

We have not come out for a joke

By the way we are still on the march
That's it. Igbos are not just the backbone of Nigerian economy, but they have expanded their hardworking and business gift to every part of the world.

When it comes to business, trade and entrepreneurship, Igbos have made an indelible name in countries like:

1. Kenya
2. China
3. Ghana
4. Mali
5. Burkinafaso
6. Ivory Coast
7. Liberia
8. Indonesia (forget the drug news, most of the Igbo guys being executed for drug peddling were caught between: 1999 - 2007 when the news about death penalty for drug trafficking in most East Asian countries have not gone wide)

Igbos operate some of the most popular restaurants, bars, hotels, taxi business, etc in Indonesia to date

9. Japan
10. Gabon
11. Cameroon
12. Trinidad and Tobago
13. Singapore
14. UAE (Dubai in particular)
Etc

and if you speak with most foreign women, when they say they love black guys or want to marry a black man, they mostly have Igbo guys in mind thinking Igbo men represent the black men.

I don't think Fayose is massaging the ego of Igbos here...but he is saying the obvious truth which we all know: Igbos are the backbone of Nigeria's economy! Remove Igbo people from Nigeria and Nigeria will become the next Mali, Chad, Somali and Sudan!

If you doubt Fayose, ask yourself why northern and southwestern political elites don't want Igbos to go and still don't want Igbos to become president

Believe me, if not for the long period of years northerners have been in presidential power since 1967, Dangote wouldn't have been the richest man in Nigeria.

Dangote and most of the northern and southwestern billionaires today all got their wealth through federal government policies which their Igbo counterparts don't enjoy.

So imagine if Igbo people have ruled Nigeria for say 12 years, believe me, Southeast would have been heaven on earth with too many billionaires, but still, despite the discrimination and persecution of Igbos in Nigeria, God and nature has always been on their side, helping them to excel beyond other tribes' understanding and belief.

If you go to the most costly estates in Nigeria, ranging from - Banana Island to Lekki phase 1, to Nicon Town, to Osborne, to Queens street, Asokoro, to just name it, Igbos own majority of the best houses. If you doubt me, try approaching the management of these estates and make a honest inquiry as a journalist smiley

Oshoko is being contradictory here. No other ethnicity stands to lose more than the SEasterners if Nigeria divides because their survival as a people is intricately linked to the rest of Nigeria than any other group. Not only do they depend on other regions for imports, [s]the fact that they are mostly traders and migrants is actually a pointer to their vulnerability than strenght[/s] as they need a large enough market to thrive and be successful. Oshokomole must have been overly excited and high when he made that exaggerated statement.
You are wrong my brother, let me explain something you don't know to you, so find time and read below reply.

United Kingdom or Britain is a great nation today simply because they were more of explorers, migrants and travelers, exploring every other part of the world for trade, business, religion, etc. It was UK's migration and exploration trait that made them expand to every part of the world, making UK the biggest and strongest kingdom in the world since the early 1900s.

It was British people that discovered Australia out of their migration and trade. They are also part of the explorers with Amerigo Vespucci that discovered the now great nation of United States of America.

UK's migration made them conquer and forcefully colonize other nations like: just google Commonwealth nations to see the full list of countries under UK colony and indirectly aiding UK's trade deals.

Russia would have been a great country today if not for their racism that made them not to migrate, travel, trade and establish businesses in other parts of the world, which is a similar trait the Yorubas have; they remain mostly in their region out of fear of whatever I don't know.

Italy, France, UK, Greece, Portugal, etc that are known migrants and traders in the ancient days are the pillars of the world today. If you also study today's business and global economy trend, China and India are doing the same.

Chinese and Indian people are migrating to all parts of the world to trade and do businesses, while Japan remain in their home, and you can see how fast Chinese and Indian economies are growing?

So my brother, if you want to excel in life beyond human imagination, then be ready to migrate and be ready to trade because buying and selling is the sole aim of every business, industry, company, investment or whatever!

Before we die as humans, we must buy and sell something! So all humans are traders of different degree, so fear the Igbos because their migration and trading trait is a quality peculiar to great race! If you doubt it, do more research.

I also forgot to mention the Jewish people of Israel! They are good migrants too, and the reason Middle East and the Arab nations can't wipe them out like they wish wink

So long as Nigerians keep voting Northern politicians who brought Nigeria into the mess it is today, Nigeria will never witness progress.

Nigeria need a non-politician President from the Southern part of Nigeria.

The person should be a very successful global businessman with no political connection, anything less, won't work.

Jobs/Vacancies / Nigeria's Biggest Logistics Co. Shutdown Operation In Nigeria: Relocates Ghana by NigeriaKitchen: 4:41pm On Nov 02, 2016
BREAKING NEWS: Nigeria's Biggest Logistics Company Shutdown Operation in Nigeria to Relocate to Ghana Permanently!

Everyday as one wakes up in Nigeria, the harsh reality of the economy recession stares at ones' face with more and more foreign and indigenous companies folding up due to unfavorable operating environment.

Within a short period of one year, Nigeria has witnessed the shutting down of companies across all sectors of the economy; from transport to logistics, shipping to manufacturing, finance to insurance, oil and gas to construction, leading to over 50,000 loss of jobs in Nigeria since the last one year.

This harsh reality of the current economy recession in Nigeria has led to mass emigration of Nigerian youths to various countries like United States of America, Canada, Australia, Qatar, UAE, Germany, China, Turkey, Kenya, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Malaysia, Singapore, etc, in search of greener pastures without considering whether their destination country would favour them or not.

More heartbreaking is the fact that countries like US, Canada, Australia, China, Germany, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc are making huge money from the misery of Nigerians through visa application and processing fees.

The latest of the sad news of companies shutting down in Nigeria is that of Stellar Nigeria, one of the biggest Logistics companies in Nigeria, and a member of the Stellar Africa group owned by a prestigious British shipping mogul (Hullblyte Nigeria) with highest stake in the Nigerian shipping sector, and headed by Tinubu's in-law, Christian Holms, which employed over 200 Nigerians in the past.

The news of Stellar Logistics Nigeria's shutdown didn't come as a surprise to the large staff base because the company has been struggling to remain in business since the end of last year that Naira began a free fall to US dollar, leading to high running cost and unbearable losses for the company.

Stellar Nigeria shutdown left no fewer than 100 workers jobless, as these Nigerians have been forced back to the labour market due to Nigeria's current economy recession.

According to inside story from the company's top management, Stellar Nigeria as a whole will be shutting down operation completely in December to relocate permanently to Ghana where it operates one of the biggest Logistics/Trucking business in Sub-Saharan Africa.

This is a wake up call to Nigerian government that all is not well with Nigeria at all, and the government of the day must do all it can to make sure this recession ends in 2016 to avoid increase in crime and breakdown of law.

It is no longer time to blame the opposition or the incumbent government, all Nigerians irrespective of party affliction, religion, tribe, sentiment or belief, must put heads together to revive Nigeria's economy for the good of all Nigerians before things get worst even though it seems so already.

As part of the government's efforts to revive the Nigerian economy, the president must listen to constructive criticisms from both its supporters and opposition and do fast to reshuffle the current cabinet and bring in proven experts and tecnocrats to help change the situation for good. We can't be doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result, things doesn't work that way, it is time to work the talk by implementing the ruling party's slogan of CHANGE, by making sure a change of cabinet members is done sooner than later to bring about the promised change.

God bless Nigerians, and may God bless Nigeria.

and Mr man did I tell you I don't have an education?, even PhD holders still get cheated on, it's a Nigerian factor that has got nothing to do with education, after all one can imagine that with all the education in this country, in some regions child bride is still common while in some regions the girl child doesnt have an inheritance, so what education are you talking about?, stick to the topic and stop delving into what you know little about
Point of correction, its not just Nigerian men alone that cheat on their wives, but all men...in fact, whitemen cheat more....the only reason it seems like whitemen (let me say American/European men) don't cheat on their wives is because American/European laws and policies favour a woman whose husband was caught cheating....the man may lose all he earned for life....so they cheat discretely, but once they get an opportunity to leave their country to another country like African countries, then you will see them whitemen unleash their full cheating potential without fear...you see them carrying 3 women at the same time....

If you work with white guys, you will then know that Nigerian men are learners when it comes to cheating. Na oyimbo men de cheat pass o!

I think its nature's curse on men to be polygamous and always exploring till they die....unless that man doesn't have money!

If you want your man to be faithful to a good level, help draw him very close to God, that's the only sure remedy!

Hillary Clinton Accused Saudi Arabia & Qatar of Sponsoring ISIS - Clinton's Leaked Email Reveals!

Does this mean that Donald Trump has been right about ISIS terrorist group all these while? I think it is time for Americans to make the wise decision that will save the world from further security deterioration that may consume us all together! Read the controversial report from Yahoo News below after the page cut:

The Clinton campaign today tried to tamp down a mounting controversy over a newly disclosed, and potentially explosive, email in which the former secretary of state appeared to accuse the Saudi and Qatari governments of secretly funding the Islamic State.

On Aug. 17, 2014 — eight months before she declared her candidacy for president — Clinton sent a detailed strategy for combating the Islamic State, which she referred to as ISIL, in an email to John Podesta, then a White House counselor and now her campaign chairman.

Along with a military campaign to roll back the terror group in Iraq, the Clinton email talks about confronting the Saudis and the Qataris, both key U.S. allies, over what she refers to as governmental backing of ISIL.

The Clinton email states: “We need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region.”

As a basis for the assertions, Clinton in the email cites “Western intelligence, U.S. intelligence and sources in the region.” The email was among thousands hacked from Podesta’s private Gmail account and released this week by WikiLeaks in what appears to be an attempt to embarrass the Clinton campaign. The campaign has struggled to respond to the contents of the emails, insisting it does not want to authenticate material that it and the U.S. government now believe came from a Russian state-sponsored cyberattack. The campaign would not say whether Clinton personally wrote the email, which reads like a position or policy paper, although it was sent from her private email account.

“These are hacked, stolen documents by the Russian government, which has weaponized WikiLeaks to help elect Donald Trump,” Glen Caplin, a senior Clinton campaign spokesman, told Yahoo News. “We’re not going to confirm the authenticity of any specific alleged communication.”

At the same time, a campaign aide also argued that the sentiment expressed in the email “isn’t new.” Clinton “has repeatedly called out the Saudis and Qataris for supporting terrorism,” said the aide, declining to be named. As evidence, the aide pointed to Clinton’s remarks in a speech last November. “And, once and for all, the Saudis, the Qataris, and others need to stop their citizens from directly funding extremist organizations, as well as schools and mosques around the world that have set too many young people on a path toward radicalization,” she said then.

In yet another instance cited by the aide, Clinton asserted in a September 2015 speech at the Brookings Institution that “nobody can deny that much of the extremism in the world today is a direct result of policies and funding undertaken by the Saudi government and individuals. We would be foolish not to recognize that. “

But in that and other remarks, Clinton appeared to be referring to general Saudi support for Islamic mosques that have been accused of spreading extremist ideology while calling out its government for not cracking down on private citizens sending money to terror organizations. In her email to Podesta, she goes beyond this, saying the Saudi and Qatari governments themselves are funding ISIS — a far more serious allegation with potentially more dramatic diplomatic implications. And one that has riled up critics of Saudi Arabia here in the U.S.

“Clearly, this Clinton email shows the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is continuing to covertly fund and logically support terrorist groups that kill Americans,” said Kristen Breitweiser, one of the leaders of the 9/11 family members who have been lobbying for recently enacted legislation — opposed by the Obama administration — that would allow them to sue the Saudis in federal court over their support for al-Qaeda. “Apparently, everybody in Washington knows that the Saudis are doing this, yet the White House and the State Department are against holding them accountable.”

Breitweiser added about the contents of the email: “This is a clear example of the difference between how people speak to each other privately compared to what they say publicly.”

Clinton broke with Obama over the legislation Breitweiser lobbied for; her campaign said she would have signed the bill allowing U.S. citizens to sue countries that sponsored terrorism into law.

The Saudi government, through Qorvis Communications, one of its lobbying and public relations firms, responded to questions about the email Tuesday, saying it would not comment on “leaked documents,” but adding that the allegations of government funding are “preposterous and simply defy logic.”

“Saudi Arabia is on the forefront of fighting terrorism in the region and around the world,” the Saudi statement said. “Daesh (an Arabic term for the Islamic State) is a sworn enemy of Saudi Arabia. It has called for the overthrow of the Saudi government and made the gulf kingdom its main target because it is the birthplace of Islam and home to the Two Holy Mosques.”

Noting the military and other actions the Saudi government has taken to fight the Islamic State — including “an aggressive public education and ideological campaign” to discredit the group, the Saudi statement added: “Saudi Arabia has long-maintained that it will thoroughly investigate any reports of funding of terrorist organizations by Saudi citizens or institutions.”

It’s unclear if Clinton actually wrote the email herself or was simply passing along a policy paper that was written by an aide or some other source. The lengthy document is in many respects unlike any of the mostly terse emails from her private email account that have been made public by the State Department. (Some former top U.S. national security experts last week warned that the Russians may seek to “doctor” leaked material, but the Clinton campaign has yet to offer evidence that any of the WikiLeaks emails were forged or tampered with.) And the rest of the positions outlined in the email — such as stepped-up air campaign and arming the Kurds — match closely with Clinton’s publicly stated positions on how to fight ISIS.

Still, the email goes much further than Clinton or President Barack Obama have before in publicly pointing a finger at U.S. allies for funding ISIS. But it does appear to reflect views that have been shared privately by some in the White House. A few months after Clinton sent this email, Vice President Joe Biden was forced to apologize for similar remarks. He told a group of students at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government that “our allies” contributed to the rise of ISIS.

“The Turks… the Saudis, the Emirates, etc., what were they doing? They were so determined to take down [Syrian President Bashar] Assad and essentially have a proxy Sunni-Shia war, what did they do? They poured hundreds of millions of dollars and tens, thousands of tons of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad,” Biden said then. (Asked about the content of the Clinton email, White House spokesman Edward Price said: “We’ll decline to comment on purportedly leaked emails.”)

Clinton sent the email to Podesta when he still worked for Obama as counselor. He became Clinton’s campaign chair in January of 2015. Adding to the potential awkwardness for her campaign, Podesta’s brother, Tony Podesta, runs one of Washington’s biggest lobbying firms, which in September 2015 signed a contract to lobby for the Saudi government.

A few weeks later, Tony Podesta held a Clinton campaign fundraiser, attended by John Podesta, and has since been listed as one of the campaign’s chief “bundlers” or premier fundraisers. The Clinton campaign did not return a request for comment about whether the candidate believes it is appropriate to accept campaign donations from someone who has lobbied for a government she believes is sponsoring terrorism. Podesta also did not respond to a request for comment.

Foreign Affairs / Turkey Government Shutdown Over 20 TV And Radio Stations Over Failed Coup! by NigeriaKitchen: 10:30am On Sep 30, 2016
New York, September 29, 2016--Turkish authorities should immediately reverse an order to close at least 20 television and radio stations and allow them to continue broadcasting without interference, the Committee to Protect Journalists said today. The government used emergency powers to order the stations closed last night, and police raided and sealed the offices of at least two of the broadcasters today, according to press reports.

Reports differed on the number of stations affected, and at the time of publication, neither the Turkish broadcast regulator, RTÜK, nor TÜRKSAT, the government-controlled satellite operator, had issued any statement on the order. The opposition newspaper Cumhuriyet reported 23 stations were closed; the pro-Kurdish Dicle News Agency (DİHA) reported 20 stations were shuttered, but neither news outlet published a full list. As with previous government closures of broadcasters since the July 15 failed military coup, the government relied on Cabinet Decree 668, which gives the government the authority to close any media outlet and confiscate its assets on broadly defined "national security" grounds, according to press reports.

The broadcasters included pro-Kurdish and leftist radio stations, alongside a Kurdish-language channel for children and a channel that played Kurdish folk music. Also among the closed broadcasters is TV 10, which catered to an audience from Turkey's Alevi sect of Islam, the country's largest religious minority. The channel described the action as intended to "silence the Alevis' voice," according to reports.

"After silencing much of the critical press, Turkey is now targeting a wide swath of cultural and political expression by shuttering minority broadcasters," CPJ Deputy Executive Director Robert Mahoney said. "When the government sees even children's programming as a threat to national security, it is clearly abusing its emergency powers."

TÜRKSAT stopped carrying the signals last night following an order from the regulator RTÜK, according to press reports.

IMC TV, Hayatın Sesi, Azadi TV, Jiyan TV, Van TV, Denge TV, and Zarok TV were no longer on the air in Istanbul today. Yön Radio, from Istanbul, SES Radio, from the southern Turkish city of Mersin, and Radio Dünya, from the southern Turkish city of Adana, were also closed, press reports said.

Responding to press reports that the Kurdish-language broadcaster IMC TV was among the outlets ordered closed, General Secretary for the Journalists Union of Turkey (TGS, by its Turkish acronym) Mustafa Kuleli told CPJ, "All the voices that oppose the leading administration are being silenced somehow, and both journalists and the people are being intimidated. Media organs that provide a platform for the only remaining forces of opposition -- the socialists, Alevis, and Kurds -- are being shut down to drown the public opinion under a single point of view."

Eyüp Burç, IMC TV's general coordinator, said on the channel's live broadcast, which wassubsequently reported on the news website T24: "We are facing a new fascist state."

Police raided and sealed the offices of Adana's Radio Dünya, DİHA reported today. Police also raided and sealed the offices of Mersin's Radio SES, the leftist newspaper Evrensel reported today. Both stations are continuing to stream programming online.

Zarok TV's general broadcast coordinator, Dilek Demiral, told DİHA that the channel's signal was cut at around 8 p.m. last night, Turkish time. She said the station called the RTÜK to find out what was happening, and that the head of the agency told her that the station's broadcast was cut under the authority of Decree 668. Zarok TV is a Kurdish-language children's channel.

Feleknas Uca, a member of parliament from the pro-Kurdish People's Democratic Party (HDP), raised the matter in parliament today, asking Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım how many media organs were shut down and why, the news website Bianet reported. Bianet said that Govend TV, which played Kurdish folk music, was also shut down.

Last night's order followed the RTÜK's shuttering of two local radio stations and a TV channel last week, Cumhuriyet reported. The regulator on September 21 ordered the closure of ART TV, ART Radio, and Uşak Radio Klas, which served Turkey's western Uşak Province, also under the authority of Decree 668, the newspaper reported.

Kai, APC is really taking Nigerians for fools, it is really disheatening that the era of free-and-fair election has gone to the winds again in Nigeria just like in the time of OBJ.

This government is bent on forcing things on Nigerians against their collective will; from forcing all Nigerians to accept government using our little remaining national wealth to construct ranches for Fulani herdsmen entrepreneurs to forcing their anointed candidates on people, its so sad cry cry cry time will tell angry angry

Romance / Who Is A Big Girl? by NigeriaKitchen: 6:35pm On Sep 25, 2016
The fact that different guys pick you up every Friday night does not make you a big girl. The fact that you wear all the latest clothes in the market, does not make you a big girl, And of the fact that you use the latest phone & different guys pay money into your account does not make you a big girl..

It does not even make you smart! You're only eating up your FUTURE!.. THEN WHO IS A BIG GIRL?!. A big girl is a girl with enough brain in her, Not the one with more money.

She is not the one who flirts with all the men around her. She is the girl who respects her relationship, She is never heard but seen. You know her from what she does, her behaviour speaks a lot about her. She is every man's queen, decently dressed...

A big girl respects the values of womanhood... She carries herself with more dignity... Stop boasting about the number of men you've slept with my dear..

Remember, cheap articles have more buyers.. Build Yourself into the woman that people will always respect & admire.

Never follow men who will make a mess of your life. Be bold but humble, be Godly..
Be hard working, respect your relationship, Be ambitious but con tempted.. Don't make men a priority in life..

Real men will seek after you! Build yourself into the woman men will always want to take home to their mamas..

Not the one they only want to take to hotels & clubs. TRUST ME, if you just trap a man with your body, he'll go one day. A lady without morals & dignity is like a phone without a sim card.

IT'S A WAKE UP CALL TO MY LADIES, Rise above it!

Politics / Re: UK Anti-corruption Police In Nigeria To Interrogate Oil Dealers On Diezani Loot by NigeriaKitchen: 8:36am On Sep 25, 2016
Nigeria! Why is it that only past politicians from Niger Delta are always victimized after they leave office in Nigeria, why why why

1. James Ibori
2. Diepreye Alamieyeseigha
3. Diezani Alison Madueke
4. Dame Patience Jonathan
5. Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo)

We all as citizens of Nigeria need to do more to unite this country if we must be one united, developed nation. We mustn't allow UK, US, et al to always bring distress and disunity in our nation only to flee to their land when trouble ensues.....only to be reporting us in their bias media platforms as war torn country whereas they contributed in making our country war torn cry cry

We have more corrupt past political leaders like:

1. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo - the man that bastardized political looting in Nigeria who deserves to be in maximum security prison angry angry
2. Bola Ahmed Tinubu
3. Atiku Abubakar
4. Theodore Orji
5. Ikedi Ohakim
6. Theophilus Danjuma
7. Abacha family
8. Turai Yaradua (that milked Nigeria dry after her husband's death)
9. Adams Oshiomhole
10. El Rufai

Etc, etc, etc

Yet these corrupt politicians walk freely but just the few Niger Deltans that occupied top political posts in Nigeria, we Nigerians want to join effort with UK/US to kill them and still live in peace

efilefun:
Abeggi park well, Never knew Dasuki was also from Niger Delta or Abacha whose loot was even "relooted" is also from Niger delta.... mtcheeew
Abacha's loot is being re-looted like you said simply because he died...if he was alive, nothing would have happened!

Dasuki you mentioned is being victimized or paid back for his role in 1983, don't be fooled!

I am not in support of corruption, in fact, I am for total war against corruption but war against corruption shouldn't be selective, it should be holistic....no corrupt past or present politician should be spared! All of them who occupied one political post in Nigeria from 1999 - 2016 should face the same probe without cover.

We can do it...and you will see all Nigerians join effort with government to even uncover their loots, but a selective war against corruption will only breed hate and further pushes our country to civil unrest and militancy.

Politics / Re: What Will You Do To Save Nigeria If You Are Elected As President Tomorrow???? by NigeriaKitchen: 5:52pm On Sep 23, 2016
omoplaycool:

Well said bro.. But when you try to do all these ,that's when some thieves and lawyers will start claiming rights et all.. And the national assembly too... They won't want to pass most of these into law....
That's the challenges.....only a military dictator with this agenda can implement these things, and that's what we need - a hard-heartened military dictator with these agendas at heart, but unfortunately, we won't have it....meaning, no hope for Nigeria cry cry
Politics / Re: What Will You Do To Save Nigeria If You Are Elected As President Tomorrow???? by NigeriaKitchen: 5:16pm On Sep 23, 2016
1. Slash salary and allowances of president and vice by 60%: president and vice president should earn like civil servants, so I will start with myself by slashing not just my monthly salary but all salaries and allowances/entitlements, including easta code abi easter codeine lol

2. Implement federalism whereby each state controls and manages her resources and remits 30% to the federal/central government which will be used to tackle national security/boundary security watch, immigration, foreign affairs, etc

3. Privatise every federal government owned asset or business such that government will only become a regulatory body and not management. This will bring efficiency among government workers, and curb corruption in government offices

4. Make sure most government handled activities are computerized such that they will be done mostly by electronic; especially cash handling to reduce corruption and bribery

5. Ban cattle grazzing and find effective ways to improve cattle rearing such that we will have more ranches for cattle herders.....and have more Nigerians go into farming by making farming lucrative and attractive using farm mechanization and improved security for Nigerian farmers

6. Implement State Policing:
every state must have their own Police.

7. Scrap state of origin: all Nigerians are equal and the same no matter their state of origin.

8. All political office or post must be made unattractive such that they will earn very meagre salary and allowances so people will stop clamoring to go into politics to make money or to fight poverty. If you want to be a millionaire, go and start a company, invent something or develop a new business idea and don't ever think about going into politics to make money because political offices and posts will earn even lesser than school principals!

9. No politician or his/her children/spouse/immediate relative will be allowed to travel out of Nigeria twice in a year the moment you are elected or appointed into office. They will submit their travel documents to a special Federal Police Team to enforce strict travel monitoring for all politicians!

10. Increase tax for the rich: if you are worth more than 1billion naira, then you will pay 35% higher tax. To reduce your tax, open more companies, farms, businesses and employ more people so that the more people you employ, the lesser the tax you will pay as a rich person.

11. Tax religious bodies: churches, mosques, shrines, juju houses, all must be registered and must pay tax to the government. The higher your revenue, the higher your tax.....to reduce your tax, build schools and make it free, open companies and employ Nigerians, then you will pay less tax as a Church or Mosque

12. Life jail for any political office holder found guilty of corruption: 35 years jail term for any corrupt practices no matter how small

13. Reduce number of senators and reps:
there will only be 36 senators and 102 (3 per state) reps, and their salary/allowance cannot exceed 1 million naira only! No senator, rep, commissioner, perm sec, etc will be allowed to travel out of Nigeria twice in a year. Same with their children, spouses, immediate relatives. So before you think of becoming a senator/rep/commissioner/etc you will think it well and know that you are only going to serve and not to make money!

Foreign Affairs / Re: UK Treasury Minister Lord O'neill Resigns - More Economy Trouble For Britain? by NigeriaKitchen: 4:58pm On Sep 23, 2016
Keneking:
But when shall Emefiele, Adeosun and Udoma and Head of economic team resign sef
until Nigerian youths irrespective of their tribe, religion or party come out in mass as one united people with one goal, leave their comfort zones and match from the streets of all the 36 states in Nigeria to Abuja to demand that they resign or no more government!

Take a look at Venezuela. I think Nigerians are divided along ethnic and religious lines, reason we can't unite to fight our common enemy - corrupt/bad politicians looting our common wealth and jeopardizing our future, making our youths beg every country in the world for visa to leave Nigeria as if we are at war.

Go to USA, Canada, Australia, China, etc embassies in Nigeria and you will see a mamoth crowd of mostly youths using their last savings to gamble for visa to flee the economic hardship caused by our past and present leaders, seriously, Nigerian youths need to rise up as one against bad leaders without minding their tribe or religion! If Nigeria is led well, believe me, no Nigerian would want to leave Nigeria to go live like a 3rd class citizen in another country just to survive, it hurts so bad angry angry angry
