CSTR2:The angle of the photo itself, suggests that a cameraman was waiting at a predetermined position to take the shot as Mark jogged past. You can see that lone silhouette in the distance...you can bet that aint no random pedestrian either. Anyway, you already know what I'm talking about bro... |
MutantMetahuman: |
CSTR2:That guy in the blue shirt with the DragonballZ muscles is probably a bodyguard too. Lagos people don't play. Mark could get snatched off the streets in less time than it takes to say "Zuckerberg Wi-Fi is a Scam" |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/4184640_jj_jpeg40ca08bcb758262f370288b8f1bba608 Omojuwa is a fool. Can he see any vehicular traffic on the bridge? Them don probably block the bridge end to end for Mark to avoid stories that touch. They probably put a couple of prayer warriors in a boat under the bridge too, to deter any mammy water kidnappers Nigeria is super unsafe. |
Ibime: ![]() The madness is even more pronounced than you thought: "We bought Tonelli and Maksimovic not because we didn't believe in our own, but ahead of the AFCON [held in early 2017]. Tonelli had already played with Sarri, and we had tried to get Maksimovic for nearly two years. But the defense was already well equipped. It's just not a rumor that Chelsea offered more than 50 million for [Koulibaly], it's true we rejected it." -Aureli De Laurentiis, Napoli Owner. More than 50m!!!!! For Koulibaly?!!!! Thank God they rejected it sef. What nonsense. |

Raumdeuter can you please tell us why fraudulent criminals seem to be deeply embedded in your club at board level? |
Griffon:You should seen that coming as soon as you started reading thinhgs like 'Alonso is okay', 'Luiz is servicaable', and 'The spine is not too bad' Far be it from Ibime to let Emenalo dare take the credit for Kante ![]() |
Griffon:I'm not getting involved in that discussion, only pointing out how your link doesnt actually support your position. Read again. "The technical director role is generally different to that of a director of football, a position which usually involves overseeing the signing of players. The technical director looks after a whole host of things that offer an element of continuity above and beyond the to-ing and fro-ing of individual managers. The role tends to include, and this is by no means a comprehensive list: responsibility for and the overseeing of the academy, the training ground, the infrastructure, medical, physiotherapy, conditioning, fitness, nutrition, hydration, rest, well being, and culture and behavioural standards within the club. The technical director can also have a remit for coaching programmes and philosophy (coaching the coaches). It is a role typically found within a nation's football association as well as big and also ambitious smaller clubs. It tends to be a role designed to facilitate long-term strategy and continuity independent of a manager's remit with the team." The statement initially defines what a Director of Football does, i.e. overseeing the signing of players - before going on to differenitiate between the two roles by crucially listing the duties of a TD - which as you probably have noticed, do not include recruitment. Wrong link bro. ![]() |
Woooooooooow!!!! ![]() |
Griffon:I think you need to re-read the links you posted. They actually suggest that a TD is less responsible for tranfers ![]() |
Why does Bayern seem to attraction many fraudulent characters? Oya discuss. |
Griffon:Oga o... I hail you. Just out of curiosity, can you please tell me who Conte has definitely signed this season? Cos I haven't seen him shaking anybody's hand... |
A40:You're not saying anything new. Azpi is still better than all the options we've had since the footballing demise of Ashley Cole...and he is a very good if slightly limited left back Did you know Hector prior to the Euros? Aren't you curious that none of the big clubs in Germany went after him? He's a solid LB anyway but its not a given he would adjust to a new league.Don't get hung up on Hector and RicRod. Those were just examples, I could have also mentioned Lucas Digne or Jose Gaya or even Zuniga. Bertrand has made P.F.A team of the year since he left Chelsea, only player from Southampton to do so. He was a serviceable full back and couldn't have done worse than his replacements have. I am not even talking about just Bertrand alone I'm saying if you are going to keep buying the likes David Lulz, Baba Rahman, Marcos Alonso, Cuadrado then you might as well give your PVA's, Ake's, Bertrand's etc a shot.Bertrand is crap. He made TOTY in Southampton's best EPL season ever under their best manager ever. That was anomaly. That entire backline has now left Southampton except for Fonte and Bertrand. Wanyama and Schneiderlin that protected the back 4 that year have also left. Even the manager has left sef. The good always leave Southampton. Only the dross stays behind. You have to realize that part of that reckless folly is not giving your yoots a shot. Especially in a position that merely requires competent personnel not exceptional onesOh please. How many Bayern Yoots dey una first team? This is not about youth. We would not be having this discussion if the club had recruited better. The youth we had are either crap or not ready yet. Like I said, whatever leftback we get has to be better than Azpilicueta....and so far 6 players have tried to displace and failed Azpi under 3 managers. Your suggestion reeks of "at all, at all" and that's clearly not a sustainable way for thinking for the club. Lol what am I justifying? You are on your 3rd LB, blown through almost £60m and your starting LB is actually a RB. So it is apparent that the club cannot recruit better. Football is the only sport you can get away with that kind of recklessnessThere's a difference between 'cannot' and 'has not', and clearly the club CAN recruit better. The fact they HAVE not does not imply that they CANNOT. Correlation does not equal Causation. Please I dont like hearing Bertrand's name. That fellow is crap. |
AKBliv010:Sounds pretty cheap. I like it a lot. |
I like it. How much for the full build in Naira? |
Griffon:So Emenalo is responsible these guys huh? ![]() |
A40:Azpilicueta is his replacement and is clearly better IMO. What we are looking for is something/someone better than Azpi..not Bertrand. You woulda needed probably £35-40m to buy Rodriguez. Assuming Wolfsburg even wanted to sell.26 is the prime football age so I don't think he would have been a short term fix at all. 35m for Rodriguez or 23m for Marcos Alonso.... I don't know if you watched that boy, but I remember him from Sunderland mehn...time will tell, but somehow I doubt that Alonso is going to dislodge Azpi. Na the T.V deal give una wiggle room to keep up this riotous spending. Almost £60m in 3 seasons at LB when keeping your youth woulda been the better option, any other business go done fold upYou could argue that keeping Baba would have been a better option to signing Alonso as well. Then you could also argue that keeping Bertrand, Ake could have been better. Maybe even Ashley Cole. ![]() The reason for the riotous spending is just reckless folly. The same club that refused to splash out on Luke Shaw is the one that spent 23m on freaking Alonso. Now the same Jose that refused to sign Shaw is enjoying his services...and we are managing a Bolton and Sunderland Alumni. The only way you can justify keeping the youth on the bench is hindsight. It will be a shame if we have to hang on to dross because we have no faith that the club can recruit better.... |
lordfalcao:To be honest, I don't even care about Koulibaly. Splashing 40m+ on a centreback is just a waste. Splashing 40m+ on a good but not great centreback like Koulibaly who will still go to AFCON at a crucial time of the season would have been folly. It's the panic buying of Luiz that is the problem. We could have grabbed Mustafi from Arsenal. Heck even Ashley Williams would have done as a short term fix. I would have even taken Mangala on loan. Instead we went and bout Luiz for over 30m. I just need to know who to blame for this - Emenalo or Conte... ![]() |
A40:LOL Bertrand is crap and should have been sold. That decision is not in question. It's the recruitment fiasco that is causing me to scratch my head. It's not as if there are not better left backs available on the market. I heard rumours of Ricardo Rodriguez or even that Hector guy from Germany. How we ended up with a former Bolton and Sunderland ex player for 20m is beyond me. |
Funlordjnr:I can't even pretend that I'm surprised at such foolish transfers- the Batshuayi deal was the harbinger of the madness to come.... When Batshuayi costs more than Benteke, then you know that the people upstairs must be smoking something prepared by method and red. David Luiz transfer makes no sense at all. Marcos Alonso for 20m makes no sense at all especially after sending Baba Rahman away. Then again, Chelsea are not the only ones exhibiting madness in this transfer window, and that's the only thing I am slightly pleased about - no be only us pull cloth waka for market. |
dopeJemi:Gone are the days wey police dey collect 50 bucks. ![]() |

What does this potential Luiz signing signal? Cahill dropped? Terry dropped? No way back for Zouma? Or could we be looking at a 343/541 formation in what case.. Oscar gets dropped? Matic gets dropped? No way back for Fabregas Or maybe a 352 formation in which Iva gets dropped? Willian gets dropped? Alonso sticks to the bench? I'm guessing the only unbenchables are currently Hazard, Kante, Costa, and Cortouis... Conte's Conundrum |
Plus person suppose dey get free tramadol and other opiates for your hand now sef... |
Chestar5:Bigkesh is a doctor! Congrats bro. So na you go dey on sickbay duty on this thread now catering to the likes of Raumdeuter and the upbarka crew after they suffer misyarn-induced-kpokpoing |

Ibime:At this juncture, let me just say that this is not a personal attack on you at all. I completely understood your point, but I felt that your post had to be countered because the meat of it amounted to "Atsu is a good player that was let down by the loan system". Obviously if the loan system is to blame for Atsu's failures, then of course, Chalobah and Bamford etc can also claim the same. Hence my focus is on whether Atsu as a player is EPL quality(which he is not) rather than whether Atsu is Chelsea quality(He clearly isn't either). That being said, we move on to... One thing is sure though, if he is good enough for Porto, he is good enough to get minutes for Bournemouth.Atsu wasn't 'good enough for Porto'. He played only 681 league minutes in total in his only season for Porto which works out at around 7.5 games. In the UCL he never started for Porto and only managed 139 minutes in total which is less than 2 games. I'm not sure what you saw with your own eyes, but between February and close of the season, the boy only played 336 minutes(completing 90 minutes only once) for Porto...That's less than 4 games, so he clearly didn't break into the Porto first team, which explains why he was sold so cheaply. All of a sudden, the nigga won't even be considered for bench at Bournemouth.Because he is CRAP. The chance was definitely there. The club record signing was injured for the season, and the only guy to contend with is Marc Pugh, a player who's name could be rhymed with poo for good reason. And the less said about his flop at Everton, the better. Ayew brothers and Asamoah Gyan were in the same Ghana team at AFCON 2015, why didn't they win AFCON best player?Any Didier, Toure and Bance can shine at AFCON....how many AFCON players actually play at the elite level of the game in professional leagues? The vast majority of the players at AFCON play in the lower divisions of the lower ranked leagues of Europe. Some play in crappy African leagues. only a few play like AUbameyang , Yaya Toure etc play at the top level. Should I have to remind you that Nigeria's number1 goalkeeper was playing in League 1 only 2 years ago, and is playing in the championship now, or that the Ivory Coast keeeper plays for TP Mazembe of Togo? So shining at AFCON is no big deal. What's the point of shining against crappy African teams if you can't even displace Marc freaking Pugh or Arouna Kone? So No, Atsu is crap, and that's why the loan system has not worked for him in the EPL. His stint with Vitesse though, was a relative success, so that is probably the level where he belongs.

TRendlona:My friend, stop being foolish. Hazard's consistency is not measured against Neymar or Messi. His consistency is determined by assessing his historical output. Now based on the charts I gave you there, is hazard consistent...yes or no? |
