I have never said other players dont need to step up. What i said was that Morata needs to escape the sunken place.

And FYI, we do play a target man system. Im about to drive off now so i cant post it, but therss a couple of interviews out there where chelsea players talk about the striker being the reference point for play at all times, and how the whole team plays for the striker.

In conclusion, i agree with you that the likes of Hazard and Bakayoko need to step up to score....but Morata desperately needs to escape from his sunken oblivion.

Kevin DeBruyne has created the most chances in the league this season, and the most big chances.

Fabregas is second to only KDB in chance creation in the league this seasin and has created only 3 fewer Big chances than the Belgian- Morata needs exploit that creativity and use it to escape the sunken place.

last season fab was throwing passes while coming from the bench, they told us it was what we are missing. This season he has been handed a more advanced role, we don't see the passes, we don't even see a decent job in the midfield.

Morata is the only player in the team whos job description is primarily to score goals. If hes not scoring, the team struggles

The reason you're asking for other people to share the goalscoring burden is because our number 9 is in the sunken place.

Willian and Pedro are trying and they do well when they play. They score when they play.

Hazard has been very foolish this season too and of course thats also affecting the team

But i cannot overlook the fact that our number 9 has recieved better service than any other striker in the league, including Aguero and Harry Kane, and is still the most wasteful striker in the entire league.

Its a BIG problem if our striker cannot sink a simple ball in the back of the net.

The main concern is how to score...our striker would not have seen more Big Chances than any other striker in the league, if we were struggling to create chances.

And like Conte pointed out, we're not actually struggling to create chances either. In fact as at today, we've created more chances than city.

No other striker in the league has enjoyed as many big chances in the league as Morata
