The answer is Matic had to run to the right to cover for Fab against Toure's initial strike.

Ball was kicked out, and then came back to the Chelsea box.

Matic was still on Fab's wing helping the fool out, so Terry stepped up.

Matic runs to cover Terry.

Fab was with Willian, and stupidly thought Willian will cover him, and then ran to join terry.


Ergo that fantastic Gap in the middle.

Fab is clearly the cause of that.
