Love800:It was an inverter that Lumos brought in with partnership with Mtn, We used to pay for it by loading Mtn recharge cards, then they debit your balance. Guess the best part of this deal for me that time ? I was on this Mtn plan that when I load recharge card they give me bonus credit to call. So I would load the 3500 that I wanted Lumos to debit, Mtn would give me 3500 bonus, Lumos would now remove the original 3500 in my credit balance , but I still had 3500 bonus to call with. Mehn , it was so sweet  it was as if I was not paying for my airtime that time 4 Likes |

Yampotatocarrot:No, the bona freezer came on its own singularly. It was a Nairalander that also first opened my eyes to it. I bought the 3 solar panels and the solar charge controller separately, the freezer comes with a plug if you want to plug it to light directly though. 2. I don’t have an inverter with the freezer. The battery is dc and the freezer is dc. I just connected it directly. 3. The Mtn inverter is dc as well and has its own bulbs and charging slots. So the bulbs are beside my own house ‘Nepa’ bulbs. Yes, I called an electrician but only because I didn’t want to enter the ceiling by myself to place the bulbs. I know that Lumos has better one of sales deals now for their inverters. I signed up for that yearly plan that time because it was kind of like a guarantee that the inverter would at least work for the 5 years that I am paying the money for, all this solar things can be very flimsy. I have bought more than 6 of this boxes for my friends and family , (I’m not kidding ) , and the only 1 box that developed a fault within the 5 years was replaced by the company at no cost to us. I paid weekly for 5 years till it was paid off, I am still using it 4 years after. Total of 9 years. The battery is not as strong as it was when I bought it, but yea, I wasn’t thinking I would use it forever na, even if it lasted for only 5 years it would have still been a good deal for me. 2 Likes |

Love800:Yes, I have added pictures to the original post. My one singular battery powers only my freezer. The Mtn Lumos powers only bulbs and my phones and laptops. It used to power my Tv but after using it for 9 years 😂 , E no get that kind power again , and I don’t really need it to. I don’t watch Tv. It also powers a standing rechargeable fan though I seldom use it for it. I also don’t own a generator. Never have. When there’s light, I use the washing machine , blender and Micro wave. I use a dry cleaner to ‘iron’ only. 3 Likes |

I used the Mtn Lumos inverter for 5 years. Powers all the bulbs in my house , charges my phones and laptops , charges a rechargeable standing fan. Paid it off and still using it 4 years later. Total of 9 years it has served me now. Never touched it, no fault at all. One of my best investments. I now have added a Bona solar freezer and its complete setup. Solar freezer works with only one battery but 3 solar panels. I bought an inverter to switch from the freezer to light when everything in the freezer is ice block but the inverter almost always broke down so I just removed it completely. Leaving the freezer on the one battery alone , 2 years running now and everything for my freezer na ice block. I am still on grid, but I only use Nepa for Washing Machine, Blender and Microwave. I outsource my ironing to dry cleaner. I have never owned a Generator. 5 Likes

Use effects of soil pH on a crop that has economic value in your school area/ state. The arguement is that the crop is of economic importance to your region, and the farmers are trying for new ways to be more productive, so you want to see how soil ph affects the growth of the crop. You can already deduce your research questions from this. |
