Deep! The smart ones talk to their hands...bead making, cakes and small chops, fashion designing and even hairdressing! I hear say Those hair dressers dey make serious money. The lazy ones watch all those Chinese series, 'boys over flowers' and 'whatsapp that their freind of before before to ask 'what they are doing now' and if You are following them on nairaland they have 20 posts in one minute during working hours! |

So this pepperspray was 'mistakenly' sprayed in a room where I was, the 'sprayee' and I knew what it was: the others didn't. See coughing and tears! It wasn't sprayed into anyone's face directly. Come see as people dey get interest/ask questions the moment they saw the can of spray. |

Great work at babazak, All 'tarpaulin aspiring users' can also check this thread... https://www.nairaland.com/2249974/mobile-fish-ponds-tank-remedy |
This looks good. Ibadan is up for it! If you are in ibadan, check my signature for the number to call for it! |
Cool thread, how many hours does the fish stay in the kiln before considered being dry enough? |
Well done Op, Agriculture is the way. Keep at what you are doing, small, slow, steady grows BIG with time! |
Op, my advise to you: Don't rush into what everybody is rushing to. Be a agribusinessman not a farmer. 3 plots of land is too small for any long term project i.e 6 months and above. So go into short term produce. Off the top of my head I would say go into Vegetables: Ugu, Ewedu and green. If You are dedicated and passionate. You can make a healthy steady profit from those. |
Op, great job so far! Experience sharing is awesome. That stocking density thing though. Even if You are running flowthrough + aeration, be advised to reduce to700/800 max. True, you can stock your 1000, but their growth wouldn't be optimized. Signed: A 'well read and long practicing' fish farmer. |
hotmas911:3 things am going to say. 1. The sky is big enough for everybody to fly. You don't need to pull someone down or slander anyone for You to be successful. My admonition to everybody. (You can't even pull down hotmass' hustle if You tried- he is huge and Legit) 2. Very true @ 1st paragraph, my dealings so far with hotmas911 has come with the turmoils that arise in agricultural land dealings, but I doff my hat for him that he has been as approachable and as reasonable as I can expect of any Landlord. 3. As the 2nd and 3rd Paragraph states, if anybody has been duped/cheated by hotmass in any way, kindly come out and state so... but if not, then one persons bad experience in Ogbomosho with whosoever he dealt with shouldn't be a cloud over the region or its people. People get swindled in Lagos everyday, and some other people get honest fair deals in the same Lagos. Life would be Life. Business is Business. Daniel058:awesome! Great one bro... what does the 'rinsing with hot water' achieve? Just sterilization? And how many paint buckets would You need to feed a 1000 fish pond in a meal? |
Olory:Yes I do, I now have nairalanders who buy the hdpe material and build their stand by themselves because of distance. Contact me on whatsapp from the number on my signature. |
Daniel058 kindly explain the procedure for raising so much maggots. And how You do it to always have it consistently. age2richee, this maggots would serve as supplementary. The maggots are rich in protein and you still feed them your normal standardized fish feed. You get your 'fish weight' result in shorter time than if you were using only feed. |
I need it in ibadan. How would I get it? |
The poster above me 'Bamdex' is a 'smoker' of catfish, checkout his thread. Bamdexfarms, we go soon get gist sef. I'll call you. |
Awesome! 6 months? Would you be introducing new feeds to them, or its just going to be the 'vegetation' |
bamdexfarms:You protect it the way you protect your normal ponds. You either place in a shade or cover some part of it with anything. Clothe, net, plastic, anything that is 'air-able' |
workkforcelinks:I haven't built one that contains 2000 in a go, but I can. Contact me and let's discuss. |
GGfadar:I currently have a tank of 20x10x3. That takes 1000 fishes to melange. You can call/whatsapp me and let's negotiate. |
and tears!
