Romance / Re: Married But In Love With Someone Else by nikki26(f): 5:00pm On Jul 26, 2023
This epistle reminds me of someone making excuses for cheating their spouse. You must have dated your wife for a while before getting married, now why are you ranting. She gave the foodstuff to her mum and am sure she must have mentioned it before but you dismissed it. Did you try to talk to her and hear her out? And pls, enough with the liability bullshit. He's your son for crying out loud. Do you know how it feels to be rejected by your own blood?Your son will grow up and will someday look up to you. I hope it will not be with disdain. Grow up man, you are just pathetic.Apologise to your wife and keep your zipper up!!
Celebrities / Re: Chacha Eke Gives Testimony About Her Mental Illness, Reconciles With Husband by nikki26(f): 12:54pm On Nov 29, 2022
Chacha is too dramatic. Haba, take a bow from social media and deal with this so called mental illness. Remember you have children. Also focus on them because if care is not taken , you may also harm them.
Romance / Re: The Confused and Nagging Nature Of Nigerian Men!(Screenshots) by nikki26(f): 7:28pm On Sep 25, 2022
[quote author=Kollins11 post=116996368]MEN! Try and get yourself a foreign girlfriend when you're ready to mingle. Even if it's a beautiful girl from Bangladesh.

Stay away from Nigerian girls. They are nothing but sex objects and slaves always walking around with overused kpekus and damaged womb.

Foreign girls are hardworking and very supportive.
Nigerian girls are liabilities and very lazy. Do not generalize and be biased. We have a lot of women who support their partners wholeheartedly. Beat it.

Learn how to draw boundaries and keep them. Life is sweet o. You have a great future ahead of you.

Romance / Re: Ever Felt Guity After Calling It Quit? by nikki26(f): 11:17pm On Jun 14, 2012
190: ex's are meant to be found in the gutter

Thats where they belong!

Its a fact that most ex's in our past today were picked from the gutter
maybe except a few of them

so why worry if calling it quits wit them

U just helping yourself outta their miserable lives anyway
That's a mean thing to say. For an ex to belong to a "gutter" that means you too are from the "gutter" cos like minds flow together.
Its normal to feel guilty, but that should not be enough reason to go back. Every experience has a lesson to teach. So move on.

Family / Have You Ever Lied To Your Wife? by nikki26(f): 1:37pm On Jun 12, 2012
I visited a friend recently, only to meet her in a state of deep concern- her husband of eight years had another family elsewhere. His frequent 'visits' to his home town was to ensure that the 'other woman' was doing fine with his kids. The funny thing is that they lack nothing. My friend has a lovely set of kids and runs a good business. She's at the point of breaking down. What should I tell her? Have you ever lied to your wife?

Romance / Falling In Love With Someone I Want To Hate by nikki26(f): 10:51pm On Jun 07, 2012
Hello Nairalanders, am a single lady in a relationship of two years. Recently, we had to part because of his work. I met this new guy and he's swept me off my feet. Against my will, am beginning to fall in love with him. I enjoy every second we spend together,I feel much more comfortable around him as we play and chat like kids.
My boyfriend is ok, but he's more touchy and sensitive. I have to watch every word I say to him cos he just flares up at the slightest provocation. I find myself loving him less and less every day.
The new guy is asking for my hand in marriage but am scared. He's had series of girlfriends in the past and am afraid of contacting a disease, yet I miss him whenever we are apart. We agreed. never to have sex till we get married. Am confused

Politics / Re: Newly Transferred To Gusau In Zamfara State.. Need Help! by nikki26(f): 10:50am On May 25, 2012
Wily+Wily:
@Kewt,
Reject going to that terrorist islamic rats desert land, all moslem there are terrorist and ready to kill any Christian, better for you not to go there, majority of Moslem in Zanfara have very long beards like Osama bin Ladin they are the most dangerous Terrorist.
Willy, if I were you,I'd stop to think before saying what I know nothing about. I grew up in zammfara, infact my family still resides there. Gusau is very peaceful, as there has NEVER been any crisis even when Sharia was introduced. Well, as for where you can stay, tudun wada area is mostly preferable as a lot of christians reside there. Don't allow fear to stop you from achieving your goals. I wish you a happy stay there. God bless you.
Education / Re: Emphasis On Mathematics & English Causes Mass Failure - Educationist by nikki26(f): 1:40pm On May 18, 2012
Miss EZ:

God bless you. Very well stated

This is such a poor excuse for the rot in the educational system. Haven't people written and passed Maths and English in the past, why is this a problem now. As someone pointed out, the standard of learning has dropped drastically. Its so bad that even University graduates cannot speak or write correctly. We make such flimsy excuses as to why that is the case e.g. English is not my first language. Agreed. But if you spend your whole life speaking a particular language, receiving educational training in the said language, and after 21 years you cannot communicate properly or formally in that language, what does that say about the person? It is either the person was negligent of his/her studies, or the educational system failed that person.

I think that in Nigeria, it is a little bit of both. Students do not pay attention to their studies anymore, and the educational system is steadily declining. That is why an educator can come out in public and make such stupid statements. Educators need to sit up and think about how they can improve the system. All this mediocrity needs to stop, if not Nigeria will never be a main contender in the international market in terms of knowledge base and practical applications that translate to the ability to provide much needed services.
Well said dude!
