Hello guys, my IW status states refused “ a consular has adjudicated etc…And I just got a mail to pick up my document . Does it mean I have to reapply or I will get a follow-up interview email? Please help.

Same here. Submitted on the 28th of February, yet to get an email. Someone I know dropped on the 25th, his shows issued but still no follow up email yet.
So we just have to wait. This week hopefully

Hello everyone,

Please I need your suggestion/input. So, I am resident in Europe as a student and I am working and doing importation business too by the side. I have been to the US twice previously. However, upon return from the US in 2019, whilst my previous visa was still valid for about a month, I tried renewing my visa but was denied and told I was not qualified at the time. Fast forward to last week, I was invited for an interview after going the non-appearance route and when the interviwer asked if I had a family and I said yes, she said why was I not going to the US with them and I told her that they are back in Nigeria and that I am going alone. She then said I was not qualified again but that I can always reapply. This is happening after 2 years and 5 months from my previous refusal in 2019 for a country I had visited twice and did not stay more than 2 weeks plus in my previous visits and I usually visited when the visas had about 3 to 4 months validity period left.

My question is this, can I reapply immediately cos it would be pointless waiting for another 2 years only to be refused once again if I fail to set the records straight. The fact is that I did not mention anything about me having a registered business back home on the DS 160 form aside claiming to be a graduate student and that I have a fiancee and kids back home. I want to reapply and state on the occupation aspect that I am both a graduate student here in Europe and a businessman with a duly registered company back home and that the property we live in back home is owned by me and also state that I have all the documentary proof to establish these facts as it relates to the importation business and property ownership. I even intend to furnish my business related documents such as CAC documents, receipts, bills of lading and bank statement to prove availability of funds and proof that a business is actually going on. On the form, there is also a portion to state how much I earn montly from my business in Euros and I intend to state that as well. Please, I would like to know if reapplying right back in order to set the records straight won't be seen as desperation on my part because I have been issued the visas twice in the past in this same country. Please, kindly advise on the best way to go about it as I have already filled the form but yet to submit and pay the visa fee as I don't want this refusal to affect my UK visa renewal as I have a valid UK visitor's visa that I intend to renew upon my return from the UK. Thanks in anticipation.

If someone could please tell me how often the available dates popup for the IW, thank you. Is it all week or weekdays. Are there specific hours?

I submitted my IW application on 1st March, I tracked my document on the 3rd and status shows refused�. Have not seen any pickup mail till now. Hope I will be schedule for follow up appointment?

I submitted my passport for IW on March 1st and the status still shows Application Received, with the last update on March 2nd. Should I be worried?

The date written on my refusal letter is 25th February. Got pick up mail on March 2nd and picked it up March 3rd.
So, which date am I supposed be calming down for? Loool

Feedback: I reported earlier that our IW application was still showing “administrative processing” on the portal while my son’s was showing “Refused”.
I just got a notification from the Embassy to schedule a follow up appointment; I clicked on it and it gave a Tuesday next week date, for only my son. It looks like the delay is for him to be “tenprinted”…he turned 14 last year.
Any good news today? Interview waiver appointment or Issued visas?

I have IW date for March 8.
My Wife and I are 10 printed but my 12 and 10 year boys are not.

I am planning to go alone to submit documents.

Could the minor children's fingerprint status be a concern?

I just tracked mine and I saw refused BL bla.
So I went to check my forms to understand what could have gone wrong , I realized my last visa was B2 Medicals and that’s what I applied for this time don’t know how I did not change it back to normal b1/b2 , that’s all I have noticed though.
I used the last visa twice but did not even give birth in the US . I have given birth in the US before and renewed twice after that without an interview
I am currently not pregnant so I am just confused
I need help , however I would wait until I get my passport back, maybe they will ask me to come for follow up interview.

You should get your passport back before Tuesday or Wednesday next week irrespective of whether issued or refused.

Best of luck to those going for their follow up interviews today and tomorrow. Just be calm, get all your facts and figures ready. Review your US travel history on the i94 portal…so you can defend any previous “overstay”.
It’s not a do or die affair, so be calm.

I am not satisfied you would leave Canada at the end of your study permit.

I submitted a fixed deposit certificate in my name of over CAD15,000. I explained in my SOP that this is where my living expenses would come from.

My personal bank statements with a closing balance of N1.5million after paying my school fees.

Employment letter

Study leave approval

Payment of my complete tuition and 6months health insurance (basically I don’t owe the school tillage end of my program)

Should I just buy GIC to re apply ? Maybe also add landed documents ?

Did they say based on personal /financial assets or what what was the full generic refusal Recieved

Yes, you are correct. It's not stated on the payment instruction. But the onlie Form A would not allow one proceed without providing an information into that field.
