You just spoke my mind. They are understaffed and d lady seems to be doing work meant for at least 2 personnels. She even made a mistake while processing me for d medical examinations but I couldn't really fault her cos I understand she was under a lot of pressure and she actually apologised for it

You will get new ppr mail, usually within 1-4 weeks after medical passed. Have you passed medical with your new born?

Hello Niobe77 thanks for previous help, baby is born we have added her to the application she has be given a UCI number after we attached some documents but I was expecting a place holder for Medical’s and POF which has not been given can you advice how yours went. At what point did you attach medical, passport photo and updated POF

Well, N13,890 is Passport Transmission Fee
N460 is for SMS while N8060 is for courier
You really do not have to pay for courier if you are willing and available to go pick up your passport.

14350 each for passport transmission fee
8,060 each for courier fee (Na this one pain me pass).They are always trying to discover ways of making money from somebody.
I was like these 3 passports are coming to the same address, the attendant says he is not the one who makes the rules.I was actually pissed off,

@Noble i understand you have walked this path i am walking now my wife is due in 2weeks and we just got PPR today please advice if we should go ahead and send our passports and wait to raise CSE after baby is born please advice.

Raise a CSE informing them that you are expecting your baby on a specified date and also send a mail to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
You will receive a response within 3 days and you will be given a month after your baby arrives to include newborn details. Your cic account will also be updated and a place holder generated for all documents required for newborn.

Please note oo, if you don't get a response, just go submit your passport, then after the birth of your baby, proceed to do the needful

airlines will not carry her with a pregnancy that is close to delivery. So do you advice I sent the passport now or write them first without sending passport.

I think we are in similar situation, I'll be giving birth in 3 wks but asked to submit pp in 15days. I have raised cse and sent mail to Ottawa, just seeing that one can send mail to Ghana too

So i got a response from ottawa today and have gotten an extension till 26th of June. There was no need to call.

It used to be 30 days before o. 30 days would have been just fine for me

From your plan, you will need an extension of at least 1.5 months. True
What of your initial Medicals? do you still have time there? or will you need an extension there as well? I have till next year Feb

Personally, I just feel like its less complicated to add the baby after COPR. hmmm it depends
But let's hear from other more experienced NLanders
