elampiro: We started the game well. The first attack by Totteham troubled us and we were shaking at the back from then on. individual errors by Smalling and Valenica cost us. But it also goes back to the fact that the defence was bullied and easily torned apart.

From hindsight, a three man midfield should have favoured us- Fletcher, Carrick/Rooney and Cleverley.
See consolation things!

Abeg, any song with the title 'e no concern me', I feel like dancing 2nite.

One reason why Jones is better off in the middle at the moment is this: Our players don't know how to mark when opponent players are with the ball, or maybe there is no defined pattern of marking (zone marking, man to man marking etc), Jones keeps doing the tackling so our 5 and 6 don't suffer much. Other players (from the front-line to the mid-field) have always been spectators on the pitch (aside Rooney and welbeck).
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 7:50pm On Dec 29, 2013
Let us be realistic here, Jones has been a lot effective nowadays, he marks well and protects the back 4, he blocks well too, a Jones in our midfield most times aids stability in our play. Just that he shouldn't be compared with Carrick.

Carrick is a gifted ball passer and a born-fielder, he intercepts well and he does his thing silently. He's been one of united's best players over the years (take it or leave it), dark side is that he isn't strong and can never do what Jones have been doing in our mid-field (it terms of rough tackling).

Now all these will take us back to this debate, which is better? An archaic-style midfielder (4) that bullies opponents all around, and with not much or no passing sense (think Jones or Roy keane), or the modern football midfielder that doesn't need to get his Jersey dirty before the job is done, he just intercepts passes, delivers long and accurate passes (think Carrick, Bosquets), or better-still, an all round fielder (both options up there) that will always do the dirty job and still ensure that quality passes are there to create chances for the strikers, et al. (don't know if Parker fits in).

Barring other midfielders in the team, cos we are talking about DMs here

Okay, since everybody is trying to be good here, I wanna do the opposite, you see, when she broke up with me (cos of one douche-bag), I threatened her, but I never did anything, had to move on, waiting for the next (the last). One thing is this, it isn't easy, for some, it takes 5 years to get over it, just that life goes on cos it is beautiful.

Nice win for us o, when we were two nil down, I was like WTF, thank God for Rooney De gea and Evra. Rooney is beginning to justify his a million per month salary. I believe the gap will be closed completely in the next 2-3 weeks.

Meanwhile, Moyes is getting better with his subs o, that first sub (when rafeal got injured) surprised me.

Good win, we will get there, very soon.

Career › Re: Thread For all those in the Accountanting And Banking field(including aspirants) by nitrogen(m): 3:02pm On Dec 25, 2013
Let me talk about some related fields and creativity, cos I believe there is nothing like creativity in accounting, except you delve into related fields or you wanna create accounts (you should get what I mean).

Some related fields require some form of creativity, although they might be conventional too, like audit, tax etc, it all depends on how you see and want to do it, for example, auditing (leave external, think internal) requires smartness, a thief will always create ideas of stealing, and for you to catch a thief, you have to be smarter than him, you should be able to know where he will land, you should be able to speculate his next move, that is it about (internal) audit. For external, it is all stiff and rigid, no initiative, just about following the procedures, and preparing the MCR.

Tax is great! How do I avoid, not evade tax? That's what makes it interesting, you see, there are loopholes (lots) in our tax laws and what have you, and nobody will teach you how to take advantage of that to reduce your tax to the barest minimum, note that we are just trying to avoid and not evade tax here which takes a great deal of professionalism to do. Fact!

Back to accounting, smartness is there too, at least to some extent, especially when it comes to the end of a quarter or year when you have to get things done, the pressure is high, so you've got to think of ways to get many things done within the available time, I call it 'conventional smartness'. Be aware that there are aspects of accounting that are not fully conventional, when chanced, will vomit some.

Oh! About banking, I only like talking about investment banking, it is a field I want into anytime soon. I like investment banking a lot. Creativity is highly needed here, maybe because of dynamism.

NB: All that up there are from the lil experiences I have in like two or three of these fields, so, if any has got opposing opinions or buttressing facts, chip them in, we are all learning.

Merry Xmas!

Hmmmm! A nice goal and a cool assist from young o, he actually improved in the 2nd half, but, that performance isn't special joor, we need something like this week in week out, not the 'once in every six months' type.

Good game overall, Cooger was right, they did perform better in the second half.

I believe there will be sustainability of this mentality. Nice one!

chrisley024: Using AV in a 4-3-3 formation is ineffective not to talk of d clueless Young d@ d wind is driving arnd.
grin cheesy grin cheesy

coogar: valencia can't even cross with a marker to beat. young was the only one in the box to score a tap-in. on a dry night, that would have been achieved. the pitch has soaked water & we won't get quality football until 2nd half when the groundsmen must have done some work on the pitch.

we have played well considering the harsh weather condition.
To be candid here, both have been useless, although Young got a chance, and he's also been trying to get past his marker, but still, that isn't effectiveness, in all, both have been 'miserable' today.

As per the bolded, I hope so.

Cool line-up, with Jones as our 4, it really makes sense, am quite sure he will get the much needed dirty job done. We should win this one. Buh where is Rooney? Resting in Moyes' bosoms??

Career › Re: Farming Or Return To His 50k Per Month Job? by nitrogen(m):
Please take the job back, and prepare extensively for the farming, you need a stable income before the farm yields, try and manage both, till you are solidified, don't be surprised that you will need part of that monthly income to make that farming successful.

Although, You need to consider some factors, for that up there to work, location of the job, is it the one that will help in accessing your farm at least once in a week?, logistics too, now your monthly income will help you out here (in terms of support), lastly, your risk appetite.

In all, I advise you to take your job back jare, and work towards the farming thing, a castle can never be built in a day! Don't mind them 'table and chair' entrepreneurs.

StarBoard: City has Nastasic and Micah Richards out due to injury.
Barca with Puyol and Pique and Mascherano all fully fit cannot defend better than Kompany alone.

Barca's defence makes you wonder how they were so successful.
Let's deal in the present, City have qualified from the group stage and pose a substantial threat to Barcelona as it is.
Bobo yii bahd gan o! Take it easy now, lets just say both defences are not quite okay.
