oweniwe: Time to make my contribution. I am a grad of Intelligence & Security. I passed out from nysc last month. During service, i did HSE 2 & 3 (NISP/SPDC) and Project Management.

After passing out, i began to drop graduate trainee applications (management/base things) to the oil exploration companies in kwale/umutu. I'v dropped 5 application since last month. . Got only 2 replies dat my application have been forwarded to their HQ in lagos. . . (during nysc, i was thinking dat the application would be sorted out at the Base, i was wrong . . .

The problem now is. . . After the application has been forwarded from Kwale to Lagos, i don't know what's up with it again. . Its just silence galore . . . I wonder whether i made a mistake somewhere.

I intend to drop 2 more applications next week. . Pls house. . . Your advise and recommendations is highly solicited. .

Thanks
Bro, keep dropping applications, very soon, they will call, you will be surprised when they do.

ba7man: Seun has being accused time and time again for permitting tribalism to generate traffic. Maybe he too should feel the heat if sh*t hits the fans.
Fact! He knows what he is doing, ask him why he made a bigot (Afam) and other 'ojoro' ndigbos moderators.

naptu2: I wish there was a way to prevent people who've been banned from creating new accounts. The fact that they can create new accounts is one of the reasons why some people are so unruly.
You may be thinking I am one of those creatn accounts, hell no, but those invited to this section to come see the handiwork of the ndigbs are doing that, and they will continue to. Believe me.

ba7man: I think its time to start introducing all Yorubas you know both within and outside the country to Nairaland to let them see what the Igbos truely think about them.

I'll tell them to start by googling "Yourubas are..". Then I'll explain to them that the origin of the results is Nairaland.

Its time some people start feeling the effects of their unbridled tongues.
You don't bargain the price of products in supermarkets, this is starting NOW!

Obiagu1: It doesn't matter who has done it in the past and if you don't value your citizens, then shame on you because we in the East do value ours.

Glad there's a letter so the case is as simple as it is. Fashola should provide those 14 people he kidnapped.
Ode ni e! You just displayed your fucktadious mind thru that bolded, look at how u just contradicted yasef, so 'it doesn't matter who has done it before', abi?
A silly statement from a detached human.

ujchief: I just wish you could grow bigger than this! Nowadays, its difficult for neutral observers to air their personal observation and opinion without being tagged a tribalist. The level of paranoia is that bad. Someone can't condemn an act from a leader without being tagged a 'yoruba' hater; while someone can't upheld a decision made by a leader without being tagged an 'igbo' hater. What happened to our own personal opinions? Can't we make comments devoid of sentiments; irrespective of whose ox is being gored? Must we support/oppose a move just because of tribal sentiments? We all are guilty in this, we need a redress ASAP!

Like I said in my previous post, this section is becoming unhealthy for a lot of us. Its easier to destroy than to build. Let us try and remedy this situation.

Enough of my whining; time for recommendations;
I will suggest that ;

1. since this present issue of deportation has been over-flogged, let the mods cease to move topics of such to the frontpage again.

2. Its possible that people are trying hard to air their views but are being misunderstood; I will suggest a chat-central thread be started here in the politics section. When issues such as this comes up, we can all gather at the chat thread and 'kill' ourselves cheesy instead of washing our 'dirty' linens in every thread that has related issue.

3. We can try and resurrect the debate we used to have in this section. Instead of fighting over cases as this, the topic can be presented as a debate and people can come in a civilized manner and discourse it.

These are the few remedies I could think of for now.
I pray your recommendations aren't adopted/taken, will be very happy, cos this is just starting, I do visit career section and at times family, when I visit politics section, I ignore those shitties, but, it is getting outta hand, nobody has got a monopoly of violence and tribalism, we have started fighting back, I will get handlers, lure them to this section so they can see, and that will lead to the bombardment of this section with real bigotry. So help me God.

Btw, you are quite cool, you will make a good politics mod instead of Afam4live abi wat is his name.

LBT: You ibos are pigs in human skin, bunch of 1st class illitrates who have all manner of funny shaped heads, tuber legs and obese idiots; you people are 3rd class citizens of Nigeria and a lower human species who happen to be the most dump
Lower species. You can only talk and deceive people that have not been to the east, have been all over the east and you ibos are like wild animals because you have nothing in the east and also very backward. All of you should leave the west for the east and let see if hunger will not make you start eating each other: if you think you ibos can lay you hands on south south oil, you lie because people here are wiser now than they were during the civil war. Thief people!
Thats name!! A whole stadium Generator! Kai Omo nna!!!
Hehehehe! Don't mind them, an average ibo man is a thief and scammer, they would first disguise as a businessman, but then, u see lots of atrocities committed, they are crooks, they call everything business, whether it is kidnapping, stealing or whatever, at the end of the year, they'll borrow cars to their village so they can show their kinsmen that they thrived in their swindling business. They think with their anus, they'll spend all they have with them patapata, and at the end of the festival period, their family would sell properties so the stupid son will jump on the next innoson and sons lagos bound bus. They no get brain at all.

I only respect some of them. Others are shitties!

Environer: MKO was killed by Mustafa and his masters
Then Mustafa killed Kudirat (MKOs wife) and other Yorubas
The rest fled to Cotonou and London, illegally
The fake general Diya knelt down begging ordinary Major Mustafa for his life
Now Mustafa is free, having bribed Yoruba Obas, Yoruba Judges and OPC
MKO mu be wailing in his grave now. What an upper cut betrayal.

Environer: Gbenga Daniel is French, not Yoruba
Peter Akinola (big Yoruba BISHOP) is Russain
Alaba Job (Big Yoruba Bishop) is Ijaw
Erastus Akingbola is Igbo
David Oyedepo is Malawian
Bejamin Adekunle is Ogoni, not Ogbomosho (the poorest community in southern Nigeria)

This guy, you be correct igbin (snail); too slow in thinking.
You are an slowpoke, Ogbomoso is better than most of ya shallow/infertile towns. The place is bigger than most of ya capitals and most of the indigenes are far more enterprising than you think.

And that Adekunle that you are mentioning.............please don't vex me o, I may have to tell you what he did to over3m of you guys some decades ago.
you soo myopic. The reason why we move to Lagos is because it is the capital of the Nigerian economy, it has the only truly functional seaport too but don't worry, Ibaka seaport will commence operations in 2015 at Akwa Ibom and it will e the deepest seaport in Nigeria. It will be able to berth ocean liners very much like Apapa seaport.

All this eko chest-beating will cease soon. grin tongue grin
grin grin grin Ibaka seaport ko, Ugwu police station nii. You are dream-nighting!
That aside, friend, we detest the activities of destitutes in our land, if you aren't useless, stay, otherwise, leave before Mr Fash deport you. Ensure you are contributing immensely to the further development of Lagos, and not the stealing, 419 things and others that some of you guys do. Lastly, it is cool to respect your host, they did accommodate you and do feed you, its best to respect them so they don't throw you out.

Don't forget, you guys are nothing but tenants in the SW. So cooperate.

saxywale: If that is true, then why do igbos keep migrating to lagos and Ibadan like those towns are in America huh
Please ask him jare, dem don turn Lagos to their America, an average Ibo woman wants her son/daughter to go to lagos. It has always been their wish. Their communities dey always sell their land and properties, so those pikins can jump on the next lagos bound Ekwedemesiliness abi na udemechukwu bus.
