Remove his votes at Mbaise and remove Uche nwosu's own from Uche nwosu's LGA and also remove Hope Uzodimma's forged results, Ihedioha is still the winner. Uche Nwosu was disqualified by the same supreme court when they declared that Uche Nwosu was the authentic governorship candidate of APC and at the same time for AA. This means that Hope Uzodinma is the governorship candidate of no party. That means there is no hope for hopeless Hope Uzodimma. The case is between Ihedioha and Ararume. Even Ararume's emergence as the APGA governorship candidate is against the Nigerian constitution. Ararume did not emerge through primary election in APGA. So he has a problem too. For the Supreme court to restore their dignity and that of the Nigerian Judicial system, Ihedioha would be declared winner because powerful lawyers and international communities are interested in witnessing the review. But in Nigeria, anything can happen. Nigerian government under Buhari seems to have no shame.

INEC is responsible for carrying out election in Nigeria and not Supreme court. If INEC does not have the results for the so caleed 388 polling units, it then means there was no election there. This is simple. How can INEC provide documents that they did not use.

Why? because, the same Supreme court declared that Uche Nwosu was the actual winner of APC's governorship ticket. Since Uche Nwosu has both the APC and AA ticket, he was disqualified by law. Even with the so called total valid votes which the Apex Court based its ruling which however exceeded the total accredited voters by INEC, Senator Hope Uzodinma did not also fulfill the constitutional requirements for a validly elected governor of the state, having failed to score at least one-quarter of the votes cast in each of the at least two-thirds of all the local government areas in the state.

Secondly, the same Supreme court said Uche Nwosu was the real APC candidate and his petition was withdrawn on the basis that he has both AA and APC as the governorship candidates. This means that Hope Uzodimma is the governorship candidate of no party. How can he be governor without party.
Therefore, Uche Nwosu and Hope Uzodimma never contested election in the face of the law. The case is now between Ihedioha and Ararume. The statutory 2/3rd requirements would be met by Ihedioha since Uche Nwosu and Hope Uzodimma is out of the way.

I don't know why you non imo citizens want Imo to keep on suffering. You Garfield1, yarimo, simplyleo, Mbaka and Co. Rochas rendered imo state useless and imo people waited till election day to elect their choice. Ihedioha from Owerri zone was most favored and won. The shouts of joy that followed the announcement of his winning showed the whole world that Imo has been liberated. Ihedioha reversed Imo State to normalcy where workers are paid full salary, pensioners receive their monthly payments, over 35 roads facing reconstruction. Every Imo citizen can testify to this. I hated Ihedioha before, but his works in Imo State made me to stop judging people by what I hear about them. No one should deceive you guys, Imo State is not happy with Mbaka, APC, Uzodimma and anyone who supported this Supreme Court judgment. If Imo election is reruned, which I know APC and Supreme court won't take the risk, Ihedioha would win more no matter the federal might. Rochas and Ararume has no political value in Imo State. They may be big names in Abuja but not in Imo State. Imo now is like a wounded snake ready to bite at any slightest opportunity. I know APC wants to retain power in one of the southeast states, but this was unfair. It is not about the pains Ihedioha is passing through but the pains and agony of Imolites today. Imo is not happy and you guys can see that in their social media comments. Please you guys should leave us alone. Face your states. I don't know what you people gain from people's crys and sufferings. I wish Hope Uzodimma can keep his evil ways behind and work like Ihedioha. Imo would love him if he does so but I doubt that. Five All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants in Imo State have declared support for Sen. Hope Uzodinma, the declared winner of the Imo State governorship primaries conducted on Oct. 1 by the Ahmed Gulak Election Committee.

Uzondinma defeated the governor’s candidate and son-in-law, Uche Nsowu.
The aspirants in a communique read by one of them and current Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, at a news conference on Friday in Abuja, affirmed that the primary election which was conducted in the 305 electoral wards of the 27 local government areas of the state, was authentic and should be upheld by the party.

They vowed not to participate in any fresh primary election in the state, saying they would stand by the election conducted by the Ahmed Gulak Committee, which produced Uzodinma as winner.
They expressed concern that the APC, which was a great party in the country and beyond, was being made to appear ridiculous over the governorship matter.

They said, “it would be in the best interest of the party to affirm the victory of Senator Hope Uzodinma as the governorship candidate of the party to, ensure overall victory during the 2019 general elections in Imo State.

“Our supporters and aspirants for the other elective positions will neither participate nor accept the result of a repeat governorship primary election in Imo State.

“Such will create chaos and violence in the peace-loving state and deny APC the chances of inexpensive victory during the 2019 elections.”
The aspirants further expressed commitment to the electoral success of APC in 2019, while pleading that “the National leadership should call Gov. Rocha’s Okorocha to order.

“Any disposition to thuggery and brigandage is the greatest threat to the peace and security of the state and may jeopardise the chances of the party in the forthcoming election.
“We affirm that the electoral Committee led by Alhaji Ahmed Gulak was in Owerri for the exercise and actually collated results from the various wards and local governments, which culminated in the final state result signed, released and issued to our respective agents by the chairman accordingly.

“As the real stakeholders, we affirm that Sen. Hope Uzodinma won the governorship primary election and as loyal party members and democrats, we accept the result in good faith as the wish of the majority of our party members.”

The aspirants further disclosed that they, through Sen. Hope Uzodinma, had unanimously obtained an order of interlocutory injunction restraining the All Progressives Congress(APC) from conducting a fresh gubernatorial primary in the State.

The order, according to them, also restrains the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from monitoring any fresh primaries in Imo.
The APC and INEC were asked to stay action on any repeat primaries pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit.
They disclosed that the order had been duly served on INEC and the APC.
The APC had cleared 10 aspirants to run for the Imo State Governorship primary election.

Meanwhile, the list of the aspirants that endorsed Sen. Hope Uzodinma as winner of the primary election are Prince Eze Madumere and Sir Jude Ejiogu, Air Commodore Peter Gbujie (rtd), Mr Eche George and Dr Chris Nlemoha.
The party had declared that the result submitted by Gulak electoral committee was fake, while Gulak insisted that the result submitted was authentic.

The Presidential Primaries of the All Progressives Congress earlier scheduled for Thursday, 20th September will now take place on Tuesday, 25th September, the party has said.

A statement signed by the National Organizing Secretary, Emma Ibediro also announced the shift in date of all other primary elections from the earlier date, with the governorship primary now scheduled to take place four day after the presidential primary on 29th September.

Similarly, the senate and House of Representatives primary will now take place on 2nd and 3rd October, while the state houses of Assembly primary will now take place on 4th October.

The National Convention of the party to affirm the party’s Presidential candidate is expected to hold on 6th October as earlier scheduled.

No explanation was offered for the shift in date of the primaries, but The Nation can report that screening of aspirants was yet to begin as at the time of this report as no committee has been inaugurated to handle the screening.

It was gathered that the National Working Committee of the party was working round the clock to avoid major crisis after the conduct of party primaries.

Most states of the Federation are sharply divided over the mode of primary to adopt for the conduct of party primaries with some stakeholders pushing for direct primaries, while others are insisting on the use of direct primaries.
