This thread reminds me of how I started my journey into crypto grin....back in 2016/17 I had to buy some crypto so as to join some Ponzi schemes (the country was lite with many crazy Ponzi schemes at that time). I knew nothing about crypto but YouTube gave me all the education I needed, I joined and subscribed to most crypto communities and realised that this stuff (crypto) was really the future. Around early 2017, the crash came...the Ponzi schemes crashed, bitcoin along with all other alt coins plummeted in price. It was really ugly! But I had gone too far to turn back, I watched an interview of chamath palihapitiya( former executive at Facebook) dude is one young smart billionaire in the US. He advised that the period of a price crash in BTC was the best time to buy, I picked this....and have continued to save every penny that crossed my hands in BTC. Today, the compound value of my BTC portfolio after 4 years is mind burgling, sometimes I wake up in the morning and just scream ahhhhh grin grin grin...like, where all this money come from shocked
But I ain't cashing out, I really don't have a solid plan of what to do with the money. Also, the current forecasts from most tech genius points towards 100k$ by December 2021(for BTC) and I believe this is feasible, because there is an unprecedented case of institutional adoption, most billionaires are also integrating BTC as a part of there financial portfolio.
The Nigerian government on the other hand is hell bent on destroying the naira with her implosive fiscal policies, incessant borrowings and a central bank that is built on cannibalistic monetary policies....so withdrawal to naira is a NO NO! never save or hold in naira!

My advice to anyone who intends to join and invest in the crypto space:
1) get educated on crpto- YouTube is the greatest university of our time,( it's also the lazy man's school wink) you will be shocked at how much you will gain, but if you prefer a more traditional form of learning, try enrolling for crpto related courses on udemy or Coursera.org, most of these courses are free.

2) Have a plan- (hold for the long term) what do you really want from crpto? a few hundred thousand? Millions? Or even billions of naira?....truth is, with crypto you can achieve any of these. What you need is a plan and a time frame, earmark a certain portion of your income that will go into your crpto investment and be disciplined to stick to it. Also, bitcoin might seem expensive today at 40k$ but people also felt it was too expensive few years ago when it was 10k$, understand it has huge future prospects and it's too early to place a price tag on it! Lastly on this.... DON'T SELL EARLY!! until you hit your target price.
while starting, I remember selling 0.2btc in Feb of 2017 for 105k naira because I wanted to buy a PS3 console, today that 0.2 BTC is nearly 4million naira embarassed embarassed. . So be disciplined, stick to a plan.

3) stick to the main utility coins- I hear people here talk of buying siacoin, nano and dogecoin... well, every Mallam with his own kettle, but from a personal stand point they all fall under my shitcoin list.yes...! Except you are a professional swing trader with deep knowledge of both technical and fundamental analysis, I will advice you stay off these kinds of dummy coins! Don't be penny wise, trying to invest in worthless coins because they are cheap and affordable, some of us don't even as much as check the white papers, projects or prospects of these shitty coins before jumping on them. Please, stay off them...As a starter stay with bitcoin, etherium and ripple/litecoin.

4) Don't freak out!!!- from time to time the crpto world is rocked with government attacks, political scandals and technical glitches. This is exactly what is happening to ripple now, there is usually a sharp loss of value as most frightened investors would cash out to save the value of their crpto assets. But they are going about it wrongly. Whenever this happens, you must buy this ( major utility coins) in bulk, as this is usually the only time you will possibly get them cheap and they 90% of the time will bounce back and even exceed their previous price range. So if you are looking for where to start, ripple is your best bet, followed by etherium and bitcoin. But if you have the money, shoot for the king(BTC) it's not too late.

Lastly...I will recommend that starters use roqqu or luno app, it's the best and convenient for those with little or no experience.
Good luck.

The annual interest rate is 7% (i.e. interest rate for 365 days).

Interest = (principal X rate X time)/100

So let us take your principal is $1000. The rate is 7% and the time is 1 year (i.e. 1).

Interest amount = (1000 X 7 X 1)/100, = $70

$70 is the interest for 365 days. We can use 360 days for convenience sake.

90 days is a quarter of 360 days. Therefore, your 90-day interest amount will be a quarter of $70, which is $17.50.

So your 90-day interest on $1000 is $17.50.

These investments typically favour those with huge capital. So let us say you have access to $100,000 (N46,000,000). Your interest for 90 days will be 100 times the calculated amount, which is $1,750.

Typically, the bank or crypto platform is taking your money and doing business with it, and compensating you with 7% returns on it. They know they will make far more out of it than you can because they have access to several money making channels.

These investments are not known to be high-paying. Their benefit is in the assuredness of the returns. Some people like it that way. I personally do not. I have turned a $67 gold account into $250 in a month of trading. I also used a $100 account on Deriv.com to milk N20,000 every three days in December, which is where I got money to send to my people for Christmas as I did not want my primary earnings disturbed.

So that is it. Some like chicken boiled, some like it fried and some like it roasted.
I hope my explanation helps.
I sent u a mail please reply

Crypto currency is known to have high volatility which means anything is possible u can make 80% loss or gain in just 24 hours depending on how the pendulum swings.

Just yesterday xrp was 220 and everyone was dumping and this morning it's has moved to 270 for those that stayed on. Massive profit in 24 hrs.

Let's discuss crypto picks, strategies and tips

My strategy is hodl or swing trading

I buy and hold to make at least 50% minimum before I dump and move to the next one.

My max wait period is 3 months, sometimes I hit target much earlier the other time I cut my loss.

Day trading is a no no for me, don't even have such time

Nkem, I won't say all I have seen about this topic. This is a public forum.

From what I have experienced, I won't be sentimental about this, should it happen to me. The days are evil. Fathers use their children for sacrifice, mothers do too. What make people bad is the deity they serve. A witch mother may sacrifice her kids on the altar of power. But all these are spiritual matters (and you no say juju de, don't be deceived) and can't be solved with logic, sentiments, etc.

You asked a good question but the man should do a SECRET search on what his wife told him.

If it turns out the mother is a fetish, then he would know what to do, if not, the wife should be severely punished!
honestly I understand your point but the guy didnt notice anything fetish about the mum until he married his wife.the wife must be fetish to know that her mother in law is fetish

My friend shattap! @boldeD.

Stop being too sentimental and naive! This happen, this is 2021.

I used to be like you, naive, too trusting until my best friend's father was confirmed severally that he was the reason why he didn't travel abroad for a good life.
Problem ensued and his father mistakenly confirmed it, even before people that came to make peace.

What you should have asked is, why should the man give his mother money through the wife? Since it will still get to the mother, any difference (assuming the mother is fetish)
how did the wife know that her mother in law is fetish.most women are home breaker

Hello Nkem,
Custody is granted by the court, you have to file for that, the best bet will be to get a lawyer, explain the circumstances to him/her. if the father of the child gives you a consent letter, that's a good addition. But the consent from court is the legal document.
Remember, they might verify these documents. So make sure you do the right thing

All the best
Thank you dear

I spoke to a lawyer he said due to covid19 getting a custody document takes a lot of time but affidavit a bit fast.can I use an affidavit or it must be custody?

The easiest way is to get court document showing you have sole custody..... a consent letter from her father means nothing because the rules states for a child then both parents must apply except in some cases such as sole custody or death or exceptional circumstances

2. The exchange rate used is oanda.... if you don't know this then you need to read more about the end to end process so u have a clear understanding. On the first page justwise has a post, best to go through it

3. TB test do expire so its best not to do it too early or else it might expire when u need it

4. The accommodation is fine but you don't need to show mandatory proof
please I am in the same situation. I am a single mom and I also need custody document from court please which court can I go in lagos

Thank you so much for the response. I know Oanda but i needed to be sure as i saw a few people mention Paga and CBN rates (not really sure if they were making reference to the visa application stage).

For the sole custody document, will i be needing a lawyer to go about this? or is it something i can get done myself after making necessary payments the court?

I have the same question about custody
Which court gives custody
Must the father of the child be present.

What do you think? Can one have a Visa success if one applies to join (dependant) a spouse who is still a Postgraduate student in the UK?

Because in have been reading here about people joining their families in the UK as dependants. But is it while the person is still studying or have finished and now working?

Kindly clarify as your credible response would help me in making some decisions.
while the person is still studying
