Did the Yoruba ever hold biafrans before? How do they hold you? Yoruba asked you to leave Lagos, but you refused and start saying it will become slum. Yoruba said, go back home so you can have your biafra, but you refused. Northerners begged you to leave their land and even gave quit notice, all you do was crying to ICC and refused to leave. Now tell me, what else do you want? Are you sure you are ready to leave?
No other ethnic group in Nigeria attacked Nnamdi Kanu's struggle like yorubas. Try harder

I know your problem.. It's because Yorubas are still welcoming you people, that's why you feel important.

When the memo circulates that no Yoruba must employ Igbos or lease houses to them again in SW, You'll know what's up.

Even your Igbokwe has been cut to size by Yorubas in Lagos now. He dares not make any noise again.
Yorubas are wiser than you and the same way they won the civil war is how they will always win you. At the end, you'll fall back to nothing and have absolutely nothing to show in SE for your participation in the Nigerian project.
Ndo!
You can't do ANYTHING about Igbos coming to SW to do their business. NOT A THING...so far you guys are sharing green passport with us. When una carry Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB matter for head just to impress northerners una no soji

You forgot to add the quote 'we told Ilorin Yoruba to tell them"

That's just stupidity and rants. Just as northerners dominate customs, they dominate NNPC as well. The British gave them the power and with the help of the stupid Zik.
The north does not do "rants" like southerners do. Northerners hatch their plans, find collaborators like they easily do and dominate....and YES the Illorin yorubas who became northerners after Afonja's betrayal were the go-between or collaborators. Have you heard the name Sunday Awoniyi beforehuh?

Lol.

The Northerners told the people in Ilorin some rubbish equate to Awolowo signing pact with the Northerners? See stupidity..
Learn your history. It's clear as a sunny day.

“We received this with shock and the whole
Northerners met in Kaduna and we issued them a warning that we heard they (Yoruba) were not part of it and we agreed but we have one demand,” he said.
That condition, according to him was the
establishment of a One Mile Corridor. “From Offa
which is in our region,
from the rail line to the sea (wharf) we declare One
Mile Military Corridor, "

Today the northerners dominate the NPA and Customs. Dangote is constructing the road that leads from apapa seaport and will collect tolls...

Look around and see reality
PoliticsRe: Why Are Yorubas Ready To Take Anything...just For One Nigeria? by nku5: 2:30pm On Dec 27, 2017
Stingman:
This is an observation I have made over some time now.

Why are the Yorubas ready to take anything thrown at them, especially by the Igbos just so long as Nigeria remains?

They have the seaports, major international airports, major train system, best investment location...more educated and more industrious than any tribe in Africa...or so they claim...Yet they are ready to receive insults including letting others buy their lands, develop it, and even become their Obas and governors...All for One Nigeria.

Is there something they are not telling us? Why are they so desperate for one Nigeria...even when their leader Awo stated that Nigeria was never a nation. Why are they ready to give up their pride, culture, and tradition for one Nigeria?
Because Awo made a pact with the north just before the civil war. Lagos seaports and everything concerning the sea belongs to the north. They are trapped in their marriage to the north

“Eventually when the war was to start with Biafra,
[Awolowo] went to Ibadan and gathered all Yorubas that
they should know the war about to commence was
between the North and the East, and the Yoruba in the
West were not part of it,” he said.
“We received this with shock and the whole Northerners
met in Kaduna and we issued them a warning that we
heard they (Yoruba) were not part of it and we agreed but
we have one demand,” he said.
That condition, according to him was the establishment of a One Mile Corridor. “From Offa which is in our region,
from the rail line to the sea (wharf) we declare One Mile
Military Corridor, meaning all of them who built houses
within One Mile, we will crush down their houses. And
nobody will stop our vehicles and vessels from accessing the sea, this we told our Yorubas in Ilorin to tell them.
And from that time we never hear them. This is Military
Corridor, we of the past hope our children will carry it,”
warning that nobody could stop the people of the North,
whom he said number 120 million, from accessing the
sea." - Alhaji Usman Faruk

PoliticsRe: A Yoruba Man Would Like To Become The Governor Of Anambra State by nku5:
MrMaestro:
All Eastern states were developed by the federal government allocation anyway, and most tax comes from Lagos and ogun state, so honestly, most Yorubas have been developing the East more than the people in the East themselves.
Very very incorrect. There is almost NO federal government infrastructure in the SE. We get barely enough allocation to pay workers because we have the fewest local govt areas in Nigeria. The development you see in our region is STATE infrastructure and private sector money.. Anambra for instance has one of the best road networks in Nigeria after Abuja.

Besides you are mixing up your tax facts. The federal government gets inflow to the federation account from Company Income Tax not personal income tax. You are off the mark by ascribing any credit to your region unless you want to claim that companies too belong to any ethnic group

I will like to become the governor of Anambra, so i will be moving to Anambra next year. Since full indigeneity can be granted to all residents who has lived in a place for at least ten years.

When my time is up,i will start from lower political post in Anambra and i know my igbo brothers will vote for me.

To be elected as Governor of a State in Nigeria, one must fulfill the following requirements:

1. He must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth;
2. He must have attained the age of thirty-five years;
3. He must be a member of a political party and that political party must have sponsored him; and
4. He must also be educated to at least the School certificate level or its equivalent.

Igbo kwenu .. Thanks for your support.

Abeg don't waste your time with this lot. Small Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB see the amount of attacks that they turned on Igbos. They threatened war against Igbos non-stop because we asked for referendum

My friend, you use "friend" too loosely. They could just be acquaintance.
Don't forget they were still literary rivals. Although if it was an healthy one or not is what we can't say.
Only both of them can say what truly transpired between them. They too don't share the day to day happenings in their life on the media.
They could just have grown apart. There is nothing like hypocrisy or betrayal. After all we don't have pictures of them sharing meals or attending each others family functions to know how close they were
They were certainly comrades, close colleagues and "friends" for many decades.Though now we know better.

Nobody is talking about declaring Biafra. What the people are talking about is referendum

Thats a stupid question. Thats like asking why all Nigerians abroad havent deserted those countries to return to Nigeria.

You thats is asking all these questions because some people want to go their way will make it happen if you could. We know what is happening. You Nigerians cant do without Igbos. Thats why you people are always ready to go to war to be with Igbos

Soyinka in his old age has become a caricature of his younger self. Cavorting with corrupt APC politicians and betrayed the memory of his friend Achebe by refusing to attend his burial and arrogantly abusing those who called his hypocrisy out.

The reason (most were deceived) is Blind Hatred, tribalism, lack of decorum and political sophistication.

Those who pride themselves of sophistication always end up proving that they are not whenever they are given a chance.

What happened to all the companies and utilities that was taken over after indigenization policy. They were sophistically managed and today, none of them exist.

This is Jonathan's mistake of appeasement being repeated all over again. You alienate your base to please strange bedfellows

Some people will still not support you even if you gave them all the positions and the projects. They are just that sad and mean.
No this this is different. If the SW does not deliver enough votes to enable its candidate win the elections it won't get the juicy positions he is promising. If the PDP does not give SW the juicy positions after they deliver the votes it means it will exact revenge in 2023 elections.

Jonathan's mistake was wanting to over please too quickly. He did plenty of infrastructural projects in the SW which was even more important than the political appointments he gave to SS/SE
