omonnakoda: The next election is in 2019 if you are not happy you know what to do. That is the essence of democracy. Goodluck Jonathan failed and was booted out and I hope Buhari is booted out too. Those who personalise the matter by abusing those who voted him just don't get it. Democracy is not an exam like JAMB or WAEC . People make choices and stand by their choice like adults. It was Nigerians and not Ghanaians that voted him in.So his failure is the failure of ALL Nigerians including those who did not vote. That is how democracy works. More importantly maybe we need to look at our system that places so much power in the hands of one man . In the parliamentary system it would have been possible for the party in power to change him before 2019.. Anyway those who did not vote him should stop the blame game. The only thing I can say is there is zero difference between him and Jonathan Those who voted for and supported Buhari abused, shamed, cursed and blackmailed anybody who was pro-Jonathan or even neutral. They have to reap what they sowed. Na so life be. |

Politics › Re: Who Owns Lagos? By Sam Omatseye by nku5: 10:26am On Jan 06, 2018 |
Sam Omatseye is a typical Tinubu zombie. He started this trash article he wrote by describing oba lil wayne akiolu's jingoistic and racist threat to murder Igbos in the lagoon as a "jibe". Shows how stupid Omatseye is to be frank. That Tinubu pays him salary does not mean he should not use his brain a little.
That the clown tried to use Zik's ambition to get a seat in the Western region's assembly as justification for yoruba bigotry and unhealthy obsession with Igbos is final proof that Omatseye is as shameless as he is spineless. So far the Nigeria that took millions of Igbo lives still exists, Igbos and other non-indigenous ethnic groups shall continue to move to Lagos, exploit the environment and make their dough. Who no like am make e secede |

It is a pity the way larger ethnic groups try to use the Itsekiri in divide and rule. Very very bad. From the controversial title of Olu of Warri by Awo in the old Western Region, to Abacha taking away a local government headquarters from Ijawland to Itsekiri land and sparking the Warri crisis etc.
Divide and rule must stop |

Ohanaeze should have shielded Ipob, instead it ganged with those in North that put pressure on SE Elders to control and defang Ipob.

But why are those of the Igbos are major problem to Yorubas? You dey mind these bad belle neighbours wey we get for southern nigeria? See Prof. Osunbade at Seriki Obalende Palace. PointB: Everyone does what works for them. Remember NADECO riots and protests. Don't forget militancy and kidnapping in the creek. Recall Boko Haram.
It appears the end justifies the means. What I find most regrettable about the NADECO protests was how the yorubas claimed the June 12 struggle as their own instead of a Nigerian struggle. Now everybody is wiser to the wayo |

Ibos rather than relocate to the east after the expiry of the quit notice were busy begging up and down the North for pardon?
You are tired of the game but some ibos are already giving conditions to buhari for their support.
Truth is that the ibos are the weakest in southern Nigeria to push for a break up

The igbos want the seat of the president but without any strong candidates from them.. Just imagine, every region struggle I never told you or said hausas are not developed. Stop telling lies. We never asked you for President. The only time we had small interest was when Ekwueme, founder of PDP showed interest |

The truth is that Hausa-Fulani hold the aces and choose between the yoruba and Igbos whom is best convenient to use at any given point in time. Hausa used Igbos from independence to the civil war, used yorubas from the civil war till 2nd republic, used Igbos till Buhari took over, etc etc. The sad thing is Igbos are tired of the game but yorubas are content with the rate race and follow-follow game with hausas. That's Nigeria for you |

deomelllo: Why worry about other people taking you seriously? Your life, existence, progress and prosperity depends on the Northerners or your own useless leaders collecting your taxes and allocations?
Are the northerner responsible for the lack of economic activities in your villages?
Are the Northerners responsible for lack of forcing investments in your villages?
Are the northerners responsible for investing in other places while denying your own villages the same opportunists?
Beats e why you people blame other people for your failure and shortcomings
Den don take low self esteem swear for you people. This is Apapa Port Expressway road. The prime gateway to the sea. Allowed to rot and has been given to Dangote to fix and toll your arse as he likes for the forseeable future decades. There is NO federal road of even much lower importance in the north as messed up as this. Why is self respect so strange to you? MrMaestro: That's because your Kanu basically declared verbal war against Yorubas with his vicious comments against the Yorubas in particular. Why, I don't know. When he honestly could have befriended Yorubas which would have been more than enough to push your agenda forward to the national stage. But no, your leader squandered that opportunity by attacking the Yorubas and lost. I wonder why your people don't understand this. You can't attack the Yorubas and be successful in any endeavor, It is impossible. Make you and Gotze1 park well with this "kanu abused yorubas" rubbish. Who did Kanu not abuse? Were moderate igbos spared? Did he not attack northerners more than everybody put together? Who be Kanu when balanced against the beautiful opportunity to make northerners take southerners serious for once Anyway we know the reason now. Praise Jah for the internet and so many facts that are being revealed |
