Guesses, assumptions at dis point are irrelevant if u agree wit me....in truth, we would only adapt with d reality fbn pushes to us...we just have to be hopeful
What should we do then? Talking about possibilities of what we are expecting is the only thing we can do at this point. About only adapting to the reality FBN pushes at us is what everyone knows already, every job applied for is subject to such so no need to reiterate that.

Gbam... that's the bomb. Here we go again..you will see different calculation for next TS as from now...My advice "let's just keep finger crossed...and watch FBN next move...I pray it favours us this time around"
We can't just be only keeping fingers crossed at this point, we have waited too much, we have to keep making intelligent guesses and possible assumptions to keep our sanity.

Pls how many batches do fbn runs at a time . Is it more than one? because I heard that one TS is on already which is those that resume this year May 2. So i dont know May be they can have another one concurrently with that one going on. Also those that finished from the training school, are they been posted to where to work immediately or what ?
After TS they wait for like 2 weeks and get an offer letter, either they go to a branch or head office.

About TS batches, the May 2 people are mostly Lagos peeps and not being offered accomodation, the hostels are now empty, meaning the next batch who would fill the hotels should be ushered in soon, May 2 batch and May 14th batch(hopefully) should just be two weeks apart and we can catch up

The February 12th batch should be done by this week at most right?

I guess the next batch should commence Monday 14th May, and TS invites should hit our inboxes between today and Friday this week. Just my calculations though.

Page 2300!

I can't count the amount of pages that have been wasted because of people begging for 1k or 4k.

Can't you guys create another thread for the begging and allow this thread breathe fresh air?

This thread is for discussing betting tips, analysing different markets, networking with other punters and improving your betting skills, all that is happening here now is begging and complaints related to the begging.

I remember when the other score+ market was dropped here and we were discussing about it, lots of people learnt from it and the latest millionaire here won from it, we need our discussions related to betting to return and the begging should end, Lhimeet should created another thread for that.

Let them continue, Nigerian celebrities and fake life goes hand in hand, when their fancy clothes finish they would find something to save face with.

Same way I saw how Miracle was being called a pilot/captain all along and recently found out the dude didn't even finish aviation school talk less of being a flight captain.

Nigerian "celebrities" are taken serious only by people who know nothing about the façade of fakeness they live on.

How funny! When I saw the 45 million naira news of this car and ignorant Nigerians were going gaga as usual whenever they see anything online I just laughed!

Check out prices of second hand and foreign used Porsche Cayenne on Jiji.

Even the brand new one from Porsche itself is around 10million naira only.

Nigerians with lies and over hyping! No wonder this country is this corrupt!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by nlanded: 1:07pm On May 02, 2018
If any FBN HCMD staff is reading this, please you guys should reconsider the decision of no accommodation for out of Lagos candidates if truly the rumour is true.

It would affect the number of people who would accept the TS offer if they have to come over with no accommodation having not planned for it, from the start everyone has been prepared for being accommodated. Lots of us have jobs already and adding the accommodation burden might make some candidates drop out.

If for sure there would be no accommodation for Lagos TS for real, maybe they should consider sending us to other First academy locations in Enugu, Abuja and Kano where we would be accommodated. Truth be told; free accommodation and feeding is not our right but a privilege, but we beg to be given this privilege like past TS graduates, after all we also make up the future of the bank.

And lastly, if we are still gonna be all sent to Lagos for TS and with no accommodation, then we should start thinking of plan B. For those of us who don't have a place to stay in Lagos or don't wanna bug people we know here in Lagos, let's start networking here how we can share rent and get places to stay around the Iganmu area, at least this strategy would be more pocket friendly, after all it would only be for only 12 weeks.

It won't be easy no doubt, but we just have to do what it takes to get the job!

some friend at the TS who just resumed also zd they told them there will 3 batches...
but the location of the TS may not be Iganmu
This is what I'm suspecting as well, as regards your last statement.

I'm thinking this May batch may be camped at Enugu and Abuja and Kano respectively for TS and those in Lagos not given accommodation. Maybe FBN is trying to cut expenses it puts in for feeding and other necessities for accommodating trainees.

It is genuine. Someone in training school already made an inquiry and was told there will be two more batches, one batch will be invited in two weeks time, the other batch will be invited in three weeks time but there will be NO ACCOMMODATION .
This CANT be true! You mean they would invite hundreds of people all over Nigeria and not offer accommodation? I know some banks don't offer accommodation during training school but FBN has hostels already so they would prefer having empty hostels? And lots of people who drop the offer if they have to come from far locations with no accommodation.

well, documentation isn't just about sight seeing, it's about verifying those documents from the university.
They could have quick access to some schools to check the credibility while others may take longer periods.
Dude you are funny! Who doesn't know banks and other big firms conduct certificate verification?

We were talking about things required about the candidate to expect during documentation which only has to do about sighting your documents, the business of the firm confirming your certificate is their business and the candidate has no control about that, so to the candidate during documentation all he/she has to do is present documents for sighting.

The President of Nigeria is also the head of the armed forces of Nigeria. In Germany, the Chancellor who is Angela Merkel is the head of government but Germany has a separate President who is Frank-Walter Steinmeier....they have a similar system to the British...this might explain the difference in their receptionhuh...not too surehuh
There should be no difference in reception except one is respected more over another.

Both Buhari and Angela Makel hold the same political power in regards their nation's power and politics.

Read this:

"Germany has a parliamentary system of government in which the Chancellor is the nation's leading political figure and de facto chief executive. However, the President, while not the chief executive post, has a more than merely ceremonial role."

Source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_Germany

The words in bold mean that the German Chancellor is Germany's leading political figure in authority, just as Buhari is Nigeria's leading political figure in authority, so Buhari and Angela Merkel are correctly put on the same pedestal for comparison here. The German president has no power as compared to the Chancellor

Mr ignoramus! The president is the head of state and it's different from that of a chancellor both have different protocols during official diplomatic visits to other countries. This is because she reports to president and the both work in hand! Yes the chancellor or the prime minister in parliamentary rule is the head of government and she forms her government and reports to the head of state which happens to be either the president or the Queen ( as in United kingdom) or whoever is the head in the country.
And need I remind you that Germany has a president too! Mr I know too much about nothing.
Stop trying to win an argument you have lost already.

I don't think they are very particular about ID cards, but NIN or TVC can be gotten within minutes of application so is it not better to get any of them?

About WAEC, do you have proof of making an application to WAEC requesting for another certificate? If yes, provide it. If not then submit your NECO and pray when they calculate the age you wrote NECO as from your date of birth doesn't put you at a ridiculous age of like 14 years due to plenty age altering gymnastics grin

I feel the Lagos bound folks would start tomorrow, and we out of Lagos folks would join them upper week. I know see why Lagos folks were sent TS invites first, so they prepare and does who can't accept the offer would drop out.

One more thing. Did you state your age to Dragnet while applying? Like was there a place where you filled your age on the application form?
Of course age was stated, Dragnet does automatic age computation for roles like this, once your age imputed doesn't conform to the requested age range you automatically get deleted and not invited for aptitude test, at least I took note of this during the just concluded ECO bank graduate training role, I and ALL my guys who were above the needed 26 years range were automatically given regret mails.

those who have been invited for TS, did u attend a federal university or state university.. Just wanna make a conclusion
Two guys I know who finished TS from the last recruitment went to a federal university.

Someone I know from this present batch who is finishing TS soon also attended a federal university.

But what's the need for wanting to know this? FBN has seen all our university names right from application and I doubt if it matters here.

The only bank I know which stated categorically they won't employ state university graduates for a full staff role I applied for back then was STANBIC IBTC.

Hi. Pls is NECO result allowed? And also what type of ID is accepted if there's no valid ID?
Or course NECO is allowed; but in addition to WAEC original as well.

About ID cards, NIN print out slip is accepted, INEC temporal or permanent card is accepted. You can get any of these(except PVC) easily within minutes at designated registration centres. I presume Int'l passport or drivers license would take more time to obtain if you don't have them at the moment.

Dude, define "harsh" and how it relates to what I said to him?
I never said anyone is not entitled to clarifications, I only expressed my opinion of thinking its only normal to ask all he wanted to be clarified over one time instead of asking what is this and whats that within few minutes interval. How do you think this thread would be by now if everyone here was that way?

Can't you just ask all your questions just once rather than littering the thread with countless questions over and over again? undecided

Blood group can be know in minutes at any lab, or you can ask the blood group of your parents and siblings to make an intelligent guess of yours, or you can leave that blank, I don't see anything entirely compulsory about that.

Oh, so medicals will be done tomorrow too.
Nice,
The photocopies tho, I'm guessing 2/3 copies per documents

Is it true the next TS is May 12th?.

I wonder if we'll be invited too.
Yeah, you would complete your medicals same day at a designated hospital picked by FBN which would be on the medicals form they would give you after documentation.

Just one photocopy of the original document is fine.

About next TS resumption, we are all waiting for this May batch; those of us who did documentation like 3 weeks ago and hopefully folks like you doing your documentation this week.

Also what are we to expect after documentation? Is it a success mail, a medical mail or training school mailhuh Also please what is the fate of those that gone to training school . Have we secured the employment as we enter the training school cos we can't go back to our previous job again after going to training school
Once you get the training school mail, you are technically a First bank staff, your career is in your hands from then, the only thing which would throw you out of First bank is if you fail training school, which people rarely do, not even up to 10% fail at training school stage.

Good morning my good people, thanks to have been responding to questions. Pls does that have done their documentation, how does it go . What and what is it all about , is their any section of question and answer at all. Is it just to show and submit the credential for verification? Pls am I to fill the employment data form from home or right in front of them. Pls help with these questions .Thanks
Fill the employment data form from home.

No questions asked during documentation. You only have to submit originals and photocopies of the needed documents requested for.

After documentation you would be sent off with a form to take to a hospital for medicals, after the medicals at the hospital you can go home.

I doubt whether the next TS batch will be August. it may come earlier. My main reason is, since May 2nd peeps are coming from "home" and the present trainees are rounding up May 12th or thereabouts...So there may be space for us sooner!

Am I the only one thinking that way?
I thought about that too, but would it be easy for FBN to have a same batch of training school to be together and one is like one two weeks earlier in lectures than another?

Well, even if we are made to catch up for two weeks of lectures lost we would take it o, anything other than waiting till August we would take o grin
