They won't listen! You'd hear them say things like, "allow us be, its our money", do you allow a thief or rapist be since they are doing what they like or deem fit? Hell no! So why should MMM be different? MMM is a ponzi scheme and ponzi scheme is a fraud so why shouldn't MMM be rebuked over and over again? Most of them who MMM dealt with in December come with fire to insult you because they are having sleepless nights and don't want gullible new comers to be discouraged so they can join to enable them cash out of their monies and run for their lives from MMM ![]() Lastly, I'm not surprised, illicit money is usually so sweet to Nigerians, why do you think Yahoo boys, armed robbers, ritualists, drug traffickers rarely can stop till they are caught? Lazy fools who indulge in MMM are no better than the set of criminals I mentioned, the easy illicit money has become an infection which they can't let go of. |
Your case is part of the few cases in which a very large local government area can give rise to this, my kid bro applied for N-power and he picked the main city and when he was posted it was still within the city. Write to N-power or contact your local resource person about this situation and it would be fixed, there is nothing to be worried about here. |
MinorityTribe:Please be wise, you said you have friends who lost money in legitimate business and so on, that's a different thing here, MMM is not a legitimate business and hence the censure attached to its participants, so stop such a comparison. MMM is a ponzi scheme for crying out loud and that's fraud! Tell me something, MMM claims they froze accounts because of fear of massive GH requests that would come in December, won't GH requests be even more now? With those participants that PH in early December who are due to be paid 50% and then the large number of older participants ALL waiting to get paid, even a 7 year old can work out the mathematics here and see clearly that MMM is gone! |
Sanchez01:Your comparison is so wack! Atheism is a belief and participating in MMM is different, its engaging in a fraudulent scheme! The world all over has deemed ponzi schemes as fraud so why do you feel MMM shouldn't be talked about? By your logic we shouldn't castigate or talk about rapists of armed robbers too then, according to you, "They believe in what they believe in ...", anything wrong needs to be over flogged, why do pastors preach the same doctrines over and over again and castigate the wrongs too, why don't they allow people to believe in what they believe in as you said? MMM is a ponzi scheme, a ponzi scheme is a fraud, and anything that's a fraud needs to be rebuked, even a million times to the ears of the gullible and the naïve. |
MMM is dead, its burial is this January! The holes of deficit already created by giving out 30% ROI has accumulated much and added to the fact that the operators of the program help themselves with free money by not providing help but getting help to any tune they want, you guys think MMM operators are not in this for their personal gains as well? You gotta be joking! When have you seen a human discover a way to make riches and expose the secret to everyone openly, all the rich people in the world made money by doing their business and keeping their blueprint to their riches to themselves, MMM operators are not after making anyone rich, they have to drop a bait first which is the 30% ROI, and then capture the gullible ones after a stream of gullible folks flood in. |
I so pity these Nigerians that would still fall for this, go and read about advanced fee fraud, the best technique is that when you scam a "client", you keep on scamming and once the "client" has paid he/she would keep on paying till they are totally out of money, ask the Yahoo boys for more information. What MMM would do now is just to attract other gullible members and not pay out much as they clearly stated they won't pay the big money people yet and they should wait, then later on MMM can easily cash out and blame it on the media and government which made new investors low and thereby made the system to crash. MMM claimed they froze accounts during December because those withdrawing would be more than those depositing, isn't it the same thing that's gonna happen now? They said they would only pay those who invested little money for now, if MMM is legit why didn't they take this same step in December? Think guys!! This is an elaborate scheme playing out according to its script. |
Well, one factor which you failed to mention is the fact that the location "Nigeria" is a dreaded one as perceived through the eyes of the internet community. There are lots of online platforms in which any averagely intelligent Nigeria can make a lot of money from but such platforms don't count Nigeria as competent or important to participate and others see Nigerians as fraudsters. Take a Nigerian to reside in North America or Europe and have him engage in only online related jobs and he will make a ton of money with little dedication, but over here in Nigeria even with all the dedication you can have the system doesn't favour anything coming from the location called "Nigeria". |
Young man you need not worry much, competent firms don't rely on ONLY text messaging to invite candidates for interviews, the most preferred means of communication with candidates is through email. How much information can be well contained in an SMS as compared to an email? The few times I have gotten SMS's in the past concerning interviews the SMS was a direct reminder that I was sent an invite in my email. Its either "road side" organisations or GLND related scammers who would rely on only text messages for interview invitations. I think you are over reacting in relation to saying after de-activating DND you still aren't getting invites, what does MTN stand to gain from that? And from what I know about DND is that it removes you from a list of SMS promotional campaign platforms which most of them go through MTN to advertise, recruiting firms are not part of the list of SMS promotional campaign platforms who "spam" customers. Try this, go to a bulk message platform online, send yourself an SMS and see if you don't receive it, I'm so sure you'd receive it, recruitment firms use bulk SMS platforms to send SMS to candidates. |
obidevine:You got brains! I respect intellectual property and if all of this write up is yours then I'll need to contact you soon to be able to use it. Can I just source it to your Nairaland profile? |
9jakohai:May God keep a mansion for you in heaven to crown your eternal rest. Please pardon me to copy your write up and post to people who need to be cured of their ignorance. You nailed it big time! Kudos! |
Jayceo:Mr Man, this was SIGNED INTO LAW in 2011 and the president then was a Christian, if the law was so bad why did Goodluck allow it? Why must we always reason with tribal and religion bigotry? Are you guys more educated than Pastor Adeboye(who bagged a PHD when most of you were still kids) and his legal team who thought it wise honour the law and resign? What's the big deal in appointing a new administrative head after 20 years? Has this law tampered on the spiritual health of the church? So what's all the fuss about? Its only a church with skeletons in the closet and which lacks transparency that should be afraid of this law, shouldn't the church be the most credible entity in the law? |
thesicilian:Mr Man, here are your answers: 1: The church is a registered entity with the corporate affairs commission, so the church must obey the laws of the land, if the church bodies lost in court to prevent the implementation of the law then the law needs to be implemented. So what are you saying about God and RCCG here? So if a church builds on a pipeline and the government directs them to demolish the church building does it mean the churchs' spiritual goal is what is being attacked here? 2: Who are the "they" you said are complaining? The church or the federal government? The federal government isn't complaining, they have enacted a law and the church has to follow it, its the church members who are complaining, is the church mainly concentrated on whoever leeds the church administratively? Our spiritual goals is what is key, I would shout as a Christian when the federal government says Christians shouldn't pray in public or attend church services openly, what's the fuss about making the church appoint a new administrative head after 20 years? If the church is credible and transparent something like this shouldn't be an issue. |
I can't believe this! Why are these so called Christians making the rest of we Christians to seem so ignorant? Is the present Sultan 20 years old as a spiritual or administrative head? Is the Sultan an administrative head of a denominational muslim group as in relation to heads of churches? Must we always cry out with sheer ignorance at everything? |
Olu317:Lol, I don't blame you, if you are a true Christian then you won't be sounding this uncouth. The God I serve is the Lord almighty and can not allow the church be killed in Nigeria, its only overly prejudiced and ignorant folks like you who are making a fuss for nothing! |
thesicilian:Don't you guys ever read? RCCG's lawyers even stated days ago that the church bodies had the matter in court for the law not to be implemented and they lost just recently in court, they lost in court so the law has to be implemented, prior to now the matter was in court and the law couldn't be implemented. I don't know why Nigerians keep on making noise for nothing, do you think any force or human can kill the church or the christian faith? The God I serve is the almighty and there is no way the church can be killed here in Nigeria so why are you guys making unnecessary noise, what's so bad in making a large organisation appoint a new administrative/financial head after 20 years? Did the government appoint someone by itself to head the church administration? Isn't it the same church who appoints who ever they want? Like in this case Pastor Adeboye is still the spiritual leader of RCCG, and appointed someone to head the church administration and he appointed who he deemed fit, so what's the fuss about here? |
Olu317:I would have loved to insult you too, but nature already did that to you mentally! Keep it up! |
Nigerians love to politicise everything in relation to tribe and religion, how pathetic! This law was made in 2011, that's about 5 years ago, the church bodies took FG to court and hence the law couldn't be implemented until recently when the church bodies lost in court which means the law has to be put into effect now, so what's all the noise about and accusations that Buhari has a hand in this? I attend Redeemed and I applaud Daddy GO's resignation, others should follow. The truth is that the church is no longer a little entity, there is a lot of money in the church, and any place where there is a lot of money going around it needs to be regulated and watched closely to keep things at check, its done in EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, Nigeria shouldn't be an exception. |
When I read this part: "HOW TO APPLY
i. Make a deposit of #1000 (One
Thousand Naira) only into the bank
account with details below:" I just laughed! Ignorant fraudulent set of folks! |
"It is located on Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Street, off Goodluck Jonathan Road" ![]() That says it all! How can your house be located where names of two great thieves in Nigeria's history are and you would not be a super thief as well? |
No! Here are my reasons why women don't wanna get married; -They wanna be paid to be in a relationship let alone marriage, women take dating to be a paid job and any man smart enough to put her in her place concerning that is not considered for marriage. -Women take marriage as a pension fund scheme of life which they cash out on, no need to pay rent, pay bills, work. When the pension fund is too low they decide to keep hustling and searching for someone better, before they know they are 40 years! That's how I read here of a lazy woman and her tricky way of avoiding having to do anything supportive in the marriage was to willingly get pregnant (i.e she purposely refuses to comply to family planning measures without the knowledge of the husband) even after they had agreed to stop making babies so she won't be asked to get productive economically. -Some women are just plain lazy! Prior to now they would marry any man provided he can provide a meal, but now women have higher tastes, they want the man who has 12 digits bank balance. My disgust at such women is not their wanting such men, having high tastes is good, my disgust is the fact that a broke and unproductive leech wants something better which she can't provide or make herself. Double standards of the highest order! |

timidapsin:No, try and think before you talk. Time difference is what happened here. China see the new year like some 16 hours before the Americans, the plane took off from Shanghai, China which had already seen the new year of 2017 and landed back in America which had not entered 2017 yet due to the fact that San Francisco is 16 hours behind Shanghai |
Kissing a woman you are not yet married to that passionately in her parents house right? Enjoy bro! |
Nigerians and show-off of wedding ceremonies, shaking my head... |
Samwils:Because I love writing I can't help but correct an upcoming writer like you. For the words in bold which I highlighted, correct these mistakes: -"you are" and not "your". -"I" and not "i" -always capitalise the first letter of your name, be it a first-name or a last name. You are welcome! |
Thavybe:I get your points, no one can dictate to him what he pays his staff but Nigerians are just reacting to the pay stated, we have a right to do that, why do you think countries come up with minimum pay? Even if the candidate is close to Yaba, its still bad enough to be paid like just N700 per days' work especially when you juxtapose the duties involved in this job with the pay. If a candidate takes up a no paying job for experience its a different thing entirely. Lastly, what's appalling is how Jarushub is sounding cocky and over flogging the issue that he is doing the person to be employed so much of a favour, with all the duties the employee would be doing as stated in the job advert isn't the employee doing his company a big favour by offering them his/her service as well? That's the mindset that's annoying here, and that's what can never be tolerated! |
JARUSHUB:Do you live in a cave or are you just being a pathetic liar? I would give you an example of an established company - banks, they recruit ND holders for teller positions and the least pay is 60K. Lots of well established firms recruit ND holders. |
5 matches ago Man Utd was in 6th position. They win 5 straight matches and are still in 6th position? ![]() |
