A childhood friend of mine got married to an igbo girl without both parents consent and even in a Muslim way. Cos the guy is a Muslim. Infact she abscond and went to the guy's father house for nikkai and from there move to the guy house and lives as his wife.
The parents of the girl disowned the girl. But guess what? The girl got pregnant a year in the marriage, they have 3kids, two boys and one girl.
As I speak to you today. That Muslim Guy is the best son inlaw they can ever dream of and he became so successful during the marriage, upon the girl parents curses.

While the other sisters who married igbo guys. One of the igbo guys left her. While the other sister, igbo guys are just playing her up and down.

The parens had no choice but to accept the Muslim boy as their son.. after 4years of marriage, and with grand children. the father of the girl called the boy for reconciliation when he saw how he's taking care of his daughter and even employed her elder sister in his company.

So forget story jare.


As long as their marriage as being offered to God. No human being or spirit can break that home.. God supersedes all.

Ok but remember the dad is an igbo man, the groom is a Yoruba man.

If I can remember typical igbos especially anambra side, they rather die than give their daughter to any Yoruba man. That's one. And the groom must have heard, if it were the dad, he won't allow him marry the love of his life.

Then secondly assuming the dad is not those traditional myopic kind of dad? He can insist before he accepts his plea, the traditional marriage must be done allover again with his own list.

My dear I don't think the groom would. Like to repeat the rites again with his people all over again. Which means Ngozi ezeonu will definitely be mad at him., if he tries such and u know how far women can go in retaliating and scattering Everything without second thoughts.

It's softer to offend a dad than to offend a mother.
Trust me, you wouldnt want to see the wrath of a mother. It's that bad. The father own will be childplay compared to the mother.

Any stubborn husband or wife who insist to go against the warning of the other side he is marrying from,will.end up regretting.

I'm talking from experience although not directly like the dad case sha.

If u want to. Marry a woman or man and he or she says let's do it in Lagos or Abuja instead of the village.

Then it means water don pass garri.
I don't know what the dad must have done, but people were about supporting him until he opened his mouth and cursed his daughter, now most people are like wow! Na so this man be? No wonder they didn't acknowledge him.

Regina and her mom didn't acknowledge their dad when her dowry was paid. It was the mom and her kinsmen that took the dowry but the dad didn't curse Regina openly, at least.

But for a man to curse his daughter openly or otherwise such man is evil. Very evil. And if the groom tries go behind to see the dad they will Tell him, anything your eyes see, after u leave his presence, u are on your own.
So I doubt if he would go against the mother's advice. He is a stranger. It's wise to keep his distance if he has been warned not to go.

The next solution is for them to attend a fire brand church, and neutralize any curse or bagga the dad has placed on them.

At least the dad no big pass God.

Let the husband stay his lane jeje and work on his new family. A spiritual war has-been declared, him and his wife can't seat still and say the dad is joking. They Need to protect themselves spiritually.

I now realize why my pastor will make us prayer certain prayers about blood.

Any blood spitting fire of troubles or problems in our lives, whether the blood is alive or dead in the grave, we decree the blood to shut up and never speak out again. We decree any blood who wants to destroy us, we decree destruction to that blood and the voice of that blood to be silenced forever. And if the blood is alive? It must go 6ft under.

Before I use to wonder why Pastor will make the congregation pray such prayer for like 40mins and decree fire of the Holy Ghost on it and every curse back to sender
