Nnejima, I have a feeling they purposely gave you that pitocin so you could enter labour and deliver. I remember my Drs persuading me to just have CS and give birth cos I was sick. They felt my pregnancy was why I was sick. One week later, I delivered my baby via VBAC.
I also remember for my first baby how the negligence of the nurse led to CS for me. She rushed the pitocin instead of steadily increasing it like the Dr said. When I went in for my second child, I hid all the drugs and injectables we bought. If they needed anything, I brought it out and gave it to them... My Dr was first pissed and then he gave them back to me to keep..... And nodded at me.

Vigilance is the key word.
Many people go to school and are professionals but they refuse to read sense from their teachers and refuse to apply sense in their work....
The fact that we continue to protect them and their practice gives them the feeling that at the end of the day, sorry will close the deal.

Thank you ma, it's still like a dream but it's real. Thank God i registered with 2 different hospitals. I will adopt dz ur method during labor. Thanks for the inspiration

Present @ cappo phlakkeys. I am doing well and counting down in days. I am hoping to birth between 37-38 weeks, no more sleeping and going for my normal evening walks is now an issue.

@nneejima, biko report what happened to you and avoid that hospital. If possible drop the name so that other mamas can avoid that hell hole. Can you imagine?

i did my sister, d doctor has been calling & begging but I have made up my mind not step my feet there again.
Its a well known hospital in Anambra state, Nnewi precisely.

Jehovah overdo, we say big twale for keeping us this far.

Its certain that some of us will port to this month and we are glad.
We come against any form of loss e.g. life, blood, etc. and pray delivery shall be complication free IJN, Amen.
We pray that whelther we port or wait till our July, mother will be alive, baby alive and father rejoicing with plenty money.

To reduce pre term contraction, take rest, reduce stress, maintain stable emotions, always empty your bladder, always drink plenty water, don't lie on your back, practice polar bear position. God will see us through. We shall be congratulated.

Teamies, its high time we packed our hospital bag so that we won't miss anything out one's contraction start.
To our working mums, I think its high time we submitted our maternity leave request letter.
Also, I hope we are through with our baby's nursery shopping and arrangement, I pray God will provide for all our needs.
To our Yoruba mums, I hope you've shopped for the naming ceremony and thanksgiving dress, shoes, make-up, photography, etc
Please Teamies, try and mention me as soon as you port and post your BA (Birth Announcement) so that we can update the roll call and let's endeavour to post our BS (Birth Story) early even if its a paragraph.

Present cappo, just waking up. Am fine by his grace. Jesus get me big time, he promised never to abandon me on dz journey & truly he was too faithful to fail. Testimony time : i went 4 anc today, I was having malaria symptoms so I said make i go see my gynae, dh followed me so no apriko for tfare, he carried me straight to hospital. After complaining to doctor dh said if possible dey should admit me & treat me so dt i wont develop malaria proper. Na so d doctor said no problems dt he ll give me infusion wt antimalaria dt i should go & lie on the bed. I was gisting wt dh while the infusion was going on na so my tummy come dey change shape, see contractions. Chineke I was shouting like mad woman dt my date z far dt am entering labor. My baby was kicking around as if something dey pursue him. Na so i remove the drip myself dt i don't want again. D nurses were like i should have waited for doctor to come dz that, madam i ttc for 23 tearful months to get dz baby so I don't take chances with dz pregnancy. My sisters na so doctor came & guess what na pitocin dey put for drip instead of arthemeter. I no fit shout na so i carry my self go home. Heaven knows i wont cross dt hospital again, the contraction has stopped went to scan to know if placenta detached but everything is still intact. Biko team July join me praise God

U can go to another hospital my dear, going to scan too early has its own advantages & disadvantages. Don't expect any hospital to attend to you now expect a private hospital or ur gynae who treated u during ttc which dey ll only accept during emergency. Morning sickness can start anytime, don't entertain fear in dz journey, continue declaring positive words to ur baby.

If sleep a/c wahala, i sleep bed e go b like say d bed too small, i sleep ground very ok but then my feet nd palms will want to froze. Catarrh, heavy eyes, if u just touch me where i manage sleep na watchnight i go b till daybreak ,headache, drinking ordinary water is battle dh is so worried.
I been no lazy but the whole thing don turn me to garri bag
