Sorrow may endure for the whole night night but joy comes in the morning, so was a my friend's story, after 4 sorrowful years of ttc, she lost a tube, adhesion of the uterus and salpingitis of the remaining fallopian tube, her only hope of conception was ivf when the way maker showed himself. No money to feed talk more of surgery nor even ivf. All the scan was able to dictate was fibroid. The tummy was bulging each day, some hospital even queried it cancer, after gathering money from charity, dey opened up only to see two handsome dudes. There was confusion and joy at the same time.

My believe in God was so strong and resolute. Nothing tampered with that. I buy majorly maternity gowns, baby dresses since last year.
2. I bought Robitussin chesty cough syrup(i saw it on this thread, pages back) cos I wasn't noticing Ewcm for long. I think it worked for the CM sha though it was dh that saw the egg white, me I didn't really see it like I expected. I used it from a week to Ovulation till 2dpo. I had used Evening Primrose oil for months without any difference.
3. I used M2 Tone for 10days CD3 till CD13. Wanted to buy Omega 369, but couldn't afford the one I saw #8,500 so I just continued with my Folic acid, Vit B6(100mg) after ovulation, Vitamin C.
4. On my supposed Ovulation day, b4 bding, myself and dh drank a cup of the water of fire & my other bottle of water from PMCH, MFM. I managed to give dh to drink sha, you understand now.
5. Because I noticed I also spill out semen, I decided to try Doggy style that I learnt from mama's here& on the preggy thread.. hmm.. ko easy but I enjoyed it after I mastered the art & I noticed that no semen spilled at all. we baby danced for like 5days around my fertile window.
6. I decided to sow a seed of the money I ought to use to buy another drug into a Mama's life on the preggy thread that asked for help sometimes ago, don't want to mention name.. she gave birth last week.
7. I lived life normally, I even travelled to Delta state from Ibadan for two weeks shortly after my ovulation to help a friend that lost her mum.. was taking bikes, stress and all that... I just came back home.
8. I actually wasn't expecting so much but I encouraged myself after seeing dh's sperm motility result that no cycle should be wasted...
9. For dh I got Evergreen formula for men for him, vit e, vitamin c, guava leaf juice, changed our diets, more of beans, moinmoin, Quaker oats, eggs everyday, vegetables, we really reduced carbs...
My son holds hands with me & we agree that his brothers and sisters will come to our house. He prays for them everyday since around January.
10. was expecting AF but God blessed us with BFP.. twas like a dream.
I noticed plenty discharge when AF was due but not smelly and not itching. Tested last week with HPT , faint lines but did BPT yesterday... Very positive.
Mama's, thank you for the kpekusing tutorials... the advices, quick response to questions, moral support,

Family / Re: 10 Things Parents Should Moderate In Their Children In Nigeria by nneejima(f): 9:50pm On Oct 12, 2017
chatinent:
Many mothers treat their children like perfect creatures and only notice imperfection, or rather, 'bad character' in other children. Here are things you need to moderate in your child's growthfare .
.
1. Stop stomaching their gossips. Ma, you are closer to the child, even you sir; stop registering their gossips. 'Mama Nkechi just said sth about you mummy, she did this, she did that.' Even if that what actually Mama Nkechi did, so shun them first before gossip trade become habitual.
.
2. Their eyes' kingdom. Do you ever take note of what they watch at all? Do you? Some movies are rated 18, you don't bother, let alone lampooning them. Do you know that saying 'practice makes perfect?' I bet you do. They are eye-practising, don't worry, they'll attain perfection. How can a child of maybe, seven be advising you not to watch Spartacus , that 'Doctore Bleep up.' ( sad am I really hearing this?)
.
3. Dress Inn. Are you vigilant they are not visiting immoral dress inn? They may get intoxicated. You are the parent, you don't want a bad thing to happen to them, do you? It's at your own peril. Remember, the way you dress, is the way you are addressed.
.
4. What is their pride? Have you ever asked them that question?
.
5. Phonetinent. What do they spend time doing online most? I understand this is a technological world. smiley Tell me, what's technological being useless? Ha ha, pornofacebookgram right?
.
6. Company. Do moderate the caliber of people they keep. That saying: 'show me your friend and I'll tell you who....' smiley finish it.
.
7. Rearing a glutton. Minimize the tank of food you give them all in the name of feeding. House-girl eats a piece of meat and your son takes eight pieces. Don't worry, father karma visit is inevitable.
.
8. TV hours. This should be limited. Too much of everything is good's brother.
.
9. Outward approach. How do they treat others? Do they treat others in a way somebody with parental upbring would do?
.
10. Now you! It ends it all; moderate you.

Food / Re: The Best Nigerian Pepper Soup Recipe by nneejima(f): 11:58am On Sep 28, 2017
eneubane1:
Nigerian Pepper Soup is a spicy soup made with assorted meat, fish, poultry or bush meat and some hot local spices which gives it a strong and delicious aroma.

Pepper Soup is mostly sold in drinking joints, restaurants and eateries in Nigeria. It is usually named based on the type of meat used in making the soup.

Ingredients
• 500g Assorted Cow Meat (tripe, heart, liver&muscle)...cut into small pieces
• 2 tablespoonful pepper soup spice mix or roasted Calabash Nutmeg a.k.a Ehu /Ehuru/Ariwo after peeling off the roasted skin.
• Habanero/Chilli Pepper (to taste)
• 2 teaspoonful Dry Uziza/basil leaves (optional)
• 1 tablespoonful of ground Crayfish
• 2 Stock cubes/stock powder
• 1 teaspoon thyme (optional)
• 1 medium Onion bulb (chopped)
• Salt - to taste
• Water (as needed)
in the absence of these spices, you can make use of only

Cooking Directions
• First, clean and cook the toughest meat first; which is usually the cow foot and tripe (shaki). Add salt and thyme, pour enough water to cover the meat and leave to cook for 35 minutes on medium heat.

• After 35 minutes, stir and add the cow heart. Cook for 10 minutes and then add the muscle (fuku) and the liver. Stir well and add more water to cover the meat. Add the chopped onions and stock cubes. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

• Next, add the ground pepper, ground crayfish, uziza/basil leaves, the ground pepper soup spices, mix thoroughly and cook for 5 minutes or until the assorted meat are well cooked.

• You just made a sizzling hot pot of Nigerian pepper soup. Serve hot and enjoy. Pepper Soup can be served alone as a side dish with palm wine or any chilled drink of your choice.

• It can also be eaten as a meal, with Eko (agidi), Agidi jollof, boiled yams, boiled potatoes, boiled white rice and boiled plantains.

No ooooo.....just for you to relax this Saturday ni ooooo

Yes ooo...goat meat is on point .....you should try goat meat and plantain pepper soup....

@LholarB
Oya the method:-

Ingredients:-
Catfish, medium size red onion, Scotch bonnet /Ata rodo(thinly chopped ), Garlic( 2 cloves), ground crayfish, 2 tbsp pepper soup spice, ginger powder/ minced raw ginger,1/2 tsp Ata gungun/cayenne pepper,Dry or fresh Efinrin,2 Knorr cubes, salt, pinch of palm oil, salt.

Procedure....
Clean fish and cut into desired sizes.
Place the fish in pot, add water to cover the fish, place on low- medium heat, add the onions, garlic, ginger, knorr cubes and salt .
Cover to bring to a boil. Let cook for some 5 minutes then add the pepper soup spice, ground crayfish, ata gun gun and ata rodo( I like it spicy) and pinch of palm oil( I like the look it gives it).
Leave to cook for 2 minutes, then add the noodles, leave to cook for some 3 minutes.( ensure the noodles isn't undercooked/overcooked but be careful not to overcook so they don't crumble in
Add the raw or fresh Efinrin/Basil leaves. Bring down from cooker/turn off the heat, leave to simmer for 5 minutes ( the aroma takes over and seeps in well).

You can also use spiralized yam( saw a pix of that).

It can give you the indomie look( for a more balanced, filling and deliciously yummy meal)...

Added tip for texture:-

****used chicken stock (boiling chicken with freshly chopped tomatoes, red peppers and little water). These two ingredients added a lot of body and texture to the resulting stock.******

For mamas in early trimester....don't buy the ground pepper soup spice as it contains uda which is a natural contraceptive ... hand pick from the seller without uda and blend

sassyangel1:
A true story mothers and I sincerely wana share this wth oda mamas.

CHILDREN....The teachers and guardians have done their shift, it is now our turn as PARENTS to stay home and know them.... Ask them questions about school, check their books, their bags... know their FRIENDS and their worries, ask them about their bodies and the changes they are experiencing lately, especially those ones in their TEENAGE stage... Very important, more important than that owambe party that we want to attend with our already made asoebi.... Today, the police brought to our center, a 16 year old jss3 student that was constantly having penetrative sex with her mother's blood brother who is 41 years old for the past 3 years....On Tuesday, another minor was reported with same case, she was constantly violated by their family tailor inside the tailors shop.... The tailor is 38 years, a married man with three children, the minor is 14YEARs....These are REAL life cases I handle on weekly basis, only a tiny fraction compared to the ones that are under reported or completely hidden from the eyes of the law.... CHILD abuse is real, and those who abuse CHILDREN more are those close to them, not strangers... but relatives.... I implore everyone with a CHILD under their care, please, take care of them, beyond money and biscuits, let's FOCUS more on their emotional needs, and save them from a life time psychological damage which may have ripple effect on their unborn CHILDREN.... The time is 10 past 10pm... do you know where your CHILDREN are at the moment.... #amhome
