adubam: I once stayed in Kaduna. Please forget what those bachelors up there are telling you. Have you ever thought of the kind of hostile environment your children and family members would live? Have you thought of how more hostile it will be when a Christian president ruling Nigeria and the reaction from those fanatics to your life - Yoruba, Igala, Edo Muslims are unbelievers to them, so you are not exempted if you fall into that category. Have you also thought of how difficult it will be for you to settle down there - i.e buying land, building house and other investment?
Listen good! Kaduna is a place where a Muslim child fighting with another Christian child can spark religious tension.
Please stay in your Ibadan and grow from there.
God bless you. Another person who knows reality and not just looking at money. Bros I wanted to settle and buy land in zaria when I was working there not until I was attacked by bandits and I narrowly escaped with my life, infact I had to immediately run away. Kaduna is a no no. Southern Nigeria is 1 billion times safer than the north west esp kaduna, katsina and zamfara. Infact the amount of armed banditry and armed robbery going on there is underreported |

valves: I think you should continue with your job in Ibadan because I don't think the difference in pay is enough to warrant the risk of insecurity and uncertainty (since you've never lived in the north). If you had no job at all I would have advised you to go to Kaduna.
I personally was born and brought up in Kaduna. I don't think it is worth it. Don't mind these people giving advice about kaduna just bc the pay is higher. I just ran away from zaria, I was lucky to escape the bandits. And na where someone wants to enter just bc of 230k.thats very ridiculous I must say. To me kaduna is almost same as zamfara |

laiza: Go to Kaduna my brother. Kaduna and Kano is the hub of business development and operations in the North. Ibadan is sitting on old glory of days past, I am a yoruba man but Oyo state is light years behind Kaduna state in terms of services and job. If not for Lagos, Ibadan wouldn't be how it is today. If Ibadan could pick up it should have done so by virtue of it's closeness to Lagos but the other Southwest state is really making it difficult but Kaduna, except for the insecurity is a really developed city and ancient too.
Also understand that 75% of anything produced or imported to Nigeria is sold in the North. Apart from Ibadan and ogbomoso I'm not sure there is any other city in Oyo state that can boast of economic activity...I stand corrected.. but in Kaduna you have cities like Zaria, Kafanchan and Kaduna North especially is a hub of economic activity on it's own. And there is the closeness it has with Abuja which is really important. kingsolium don't mind this fellow, I just ran away from zaria. Bandits are on rampage in kaduna state. Infact I was attacked in kaduna and luckily escaped. Op is not worth it, this dude I just quoted doesn't know where kaduna is or what it is up to right now. |

Most Nigerian traders and service providers charge unregulated profit margins thinking the next person they will go to purchase from won't also increase their price. The cycle continues to go round. Also, there is deliberate hoarding of dollars by marketers just to create scarcity and rip off, lol. I know this because I'm into forex, wake up Nigerians most of the economic woes are artificial in the first place. |

Juliusmalema: [s] Have withdrawn my blessings — Nnamdi Kanu's former deputy, Mefor places curse on IPOB
Uche Mefor, a former deputy of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the group said this on Wednesday. Mefor, in a post on his Facebook account on Wednesday, said he has withdrawn his blessing from the group. Kanu and Mefor who is the head of Information and Communication of the new Customary Government of Biafra, clashed with the IPOB leader last year due to his method of operating the group. Mefor has now joined forces with former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo in their bid to actualise the Biafra agenda. Recall that Dokubo declared a new Biafra government and named himself as the leader of the government. Dokubo who noted in the statement he released through Mefor on the declaration of a “Biafra de facto customary government” said the time has come for them to take their destinies in their hands, adding that their people have long suffered injustice and marginalization in Nigeria. A few weeks after, Dokubo in a video released on social media described Kanu as a criminal. While accusing the IPOB leader of using the “Biafran struggle” as a business venture, Dokubo claimed Nnamdi Kanu has been diverting funds meant for the Biafran cause. Meanwhile, Kanu’s former right-hand man, who cursed IPOB on Wednesday, wrote, “as a pillar and founding member who helped make it the phenomenon it was, my blessings are already withdrawn and ipob as an organisation and movement already cursed that you may know that treachery and desecration of the land do not pay and that there is a supreme being in charge of the affairs of men and control of the universe. “Forget all the shenanigans, in the fullness of time, you shall realise the import of this assertion.”
