From the look of things this is going to be another failed Dutch project, remember Ronald Koeman at Everton and Frank de Boar at Crystal Palace. I mean how can you leave a player like Sagnare or Leiner and be running after Lisandro Martinez. Telemann, Neves and Bissouma were all available, all premiership proven, but Ten Hag wants to spend £70mill on Anthony, another memphis depay . |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nnofaith: 7:41am On Jul 03, 2022 |
I am surprised you guys can't see the problem, the problem is Erik Ten Hag , he is narrow minded. United new policy is for coaches to identify players who can fit in to the (the coaches) style of play. But this coach only wants players he is familiar with. Before Ragnick left they identified and scouted players like Reuben Neves, Konrad Leiner, Bissouma, Raphinha,Darwin Nunez,Boubakar kamara, Ibrahim Sagnare and a whole bunch of other quality players. But this coach wants none of them. Before Ragnick left he identified that the core of the team is soft, mourinho said the same before he left, this coach has done nothing to correct this , he seems to think that this crop of players can improve because they finished second the season before. |

AustineE1: If truly you are a christian which i know you are not and you are as civilizied as you claim to be,why then are you basing you support for Tinubu on tribe. Shouldnt you have grown above tribal sentiment and atleast support a Peter Obi for a change.since APC Bastardised what we once know as Nigerian economy, security, education, health and every other aspect of this ones great nation. Yet your civility and emphasis is preaching muslim-muslim ticket for a party that has added only pain and sorrow to the people. You should be ashame preaching here, the bible which you claim to adhere to admonish us against supporting evil, dont you have conscience, how do you sleep at night?how much where you paid to keep selling the same calamity to the suffering masses. We cant wait for election day to come,go and tell your pay masters that you failed in this assignment,it is unworkable. Whatever basis you are using to indict Tinubu, Peter Obi is equally guilty. With the nonsense you wrote one would think Tinubu is the devil and Obi is Jesus! Nyamiri please! |
Politics › Re: Agbo Major: Peter Obi Accepting To Be Kwankwaso's VP Is The Only Option by nnofaith: 7:22pm On Jun 21, 2022 |
CoachBush: Kwankwaso should have known that Obi never wanted any VP slot. Otherwise, he would have stayed put in the PDP, and he would have got that slot gratis. Kwankwaso, should also know that Obi has a better chance of being the President come 2023.
Only few Northern Christians would like to vote for Kwankwaso. Having suffered a great deal at the hands of a moslem President, the majority of the Northern Christians either in the North-East or the Northern-West are not likely going to cast their votes for a Moslem President . We should not forget that there are sizable Christians in Taraba, Borno, Adamawa, Bauchi, Yobe and Gombe States. Southern Kaduna is predominantly christians.
The North-Central States like Benue, Plateau are going to wholeheartedly vote for a Christian candidate against a Moslem candidate because the killings of their people by herdsmen and the grabbing of their land that have gone unabated.
Kwankwaso is not going to fare well in the South-West . It is as simple as ABC.
Neither the South-East nor South-South is Kwankwaso's stronghold. 80 percent of these zones belong to Obi.
The North-West belongs to Kwankwaso and Atiku, with Kwankwaso having an edge on Atiku
In view of the above, I don't think that Kwankwaso stands a better chance of winning the coming presidential election than Obi than Obi does. Therefore, Obi will not accept the VP slot from Kwankwaso. Na by force? KWANKWANSO says he doesn't want! |

The people that are complaining will not vote BAT even if he names Oyedepo as his running mate. Did they vote Buhari when he chose Pastor Bakare as his running mate, how many votes did Osinbajo win for buhari in the Christian dominated SS/SE did he win any state in those regions. This is politics of hatred, a fair minded person will know APC cannot choose a xtian deputy and win. We are all advocating that the presidency should come to the south is Tinubu not from the south?or is it only southern Christians that are eligible? The same selfishness that the south is displaying in wanting only Christian presidents is what the North is displaying in wanting only a Muslim VP. |
Politics › Re: Muslim-muslim Ticket Southwest View by nnofaith: 7:23pm On Jun 20, 2022 |
sreamsense: The truth is that Muslims can never accept christian-christian ticket and once you let them taste muslim-muslim, they will turn it to their right which must continue. Some of them will fill with hatred and turn it to violence that may lead to attack of churches or make future government ungovernable. What you will not accept in the future, don't begin it now. What benefit has kaduna muslim-muslim template offered that will like to be emulated? If Tinubu can't get any minority Christian from North East, he should come back home.
We can't be doing everything to please north west, what political sacrifice do they want to offer to make Nigeria move forward. Many will still vote for Tinubu from North if he fails to choose Muslim because many of the states are still being controlled by APC who will like to dedicate to party continuity to continue earning their livings. And besides, love of Tinubu has grown in the north and being trusted by their leaders and his generosity. All these are enough to get tangible number of votes couple with lock down from West and others is enough for him to win with muslim-christian ticket.
He can't jeopardize Christian community for his personal interest because he wants to favour north west. He should get Christian from North East/woman/youth if possible to balance equation for different categories Osun a majority Muslim state allowed Oyinlola and Erelu Obada as Gov and dep gov. Without any complaint |

perez100: Peter Obi will defeat all other candidates. Is it not a shame that the so called big parties are not strong in social media? That is a clear indication that Nigerians are tired of the criminals in PDP and APC ruling Nigeria.
Both Atiku, Kwankwaso and Tinubu will divide North East and North West votes while Peter Obi will win South East, South-South and most part of North Central. Again, Peter Obi will be voted in North East, North West and South West by those that have conscience and genuinely wants positive change in Nigeria. These ones are those that goes beyond tribes and religions. They will vote for the best.
Tinubu will only win South West because if Tinubu wins there will no longer be credible elections in Nigeria. Nothing for opposition parties again in Nigeria. LOL! Just like that! |

Let me repeat myself.atiku in the core north can only win Adamawa, taraba, gombe, sokoto, kebbi, kadunanarrowly.he would win there narrowly.borno, yobe, zamfara, katsina will deliver bloc votes for tinubu to overwhelm atiku.kwankwaso wilk likely win kano and jigawa but tinubu will have more votes than atiku..north central as usual will go either way narrowly...qed Dont waste your time arguing with people who do not understand Nigerian politics. Atiku is not a northern project, he was fostered on Pdp by a few selfish southern politicians. Pdp controls only four states in the north (I expect Apc to flip sokoto).those are the states Atiku will clearly win. He has contestant the presidential elections twice and has never won in the core north because at both times he was not the Northern consensus candidate. The Northern consensus is for the precidency to go south that is why no prominent northern politician contested in the Apc. The north is not selfish. They made MKo president, they made Obasanjo president and they have settled for BAT. If they didn't want him he would never have won the primaries. |

Penguin2: I guess you are the one who needs to go back and study the new Electoral Act.
There’s something called substitution of candidate by political parties and it will be available till sometimes in August.
It is the reason Doyin Okupe was named as a placeholder for potential Labour Party VP from the north.
It is same reason Ibrahim Masari was named as placeholder in APC.
These two men are likely to be substituted later.
Now, same with presidential candidates.
A presidential candidate can write INEC to notify it of his/her intention to withdraw from the presidential race and INEC is obligated by law to accept such withdrawal.
Now, there’s no law that says after withdrawing as a presidential candidate you cannot be named as Vice Presidential candidate within the stipulated INEC substitution window.
So, you see? You are the one who needs to read the law and understand.
Fergie001 Garfield1 Ejimatic Vidcom You will give a reason you no longer want to contest an election and then go and contest same election again in another party?! Wonderful!! |

A lot the peeps here are either children or blinded by sentiments. I am asking the question again give us a list of the prominent politicians in NNPP in the following states for us to make a thorough analysis 1. Sokoto 2. Jigawa 3. Kebbi 4.Katsina 5.Zamfara 6.Kaduna 7.Niger
You will just come here and be spewing rubbish, because of petty and parochial sentiments. Kwamkwaso does not have the clout to flip any of these states unless he has heavy weights from those states in his party. If you know any heavy weight in any of these states in his party name them here. If Apc is going to lose the above states its going to be to the pdp. Politics is local. FYI in Kano its going to be "kare jini biri jini" between Apc and Nnpp. You know what happened the last election. |
