Peeps in my office know. Wifey knows, my parents and extended family don't. Funny thing about the the peeps in the office is that most of them enjoy me bashing religion. Religion is childishly hilarious.

Is it that one must come here to complain before Shippyme does the thing it has been paid to do? My pair of shoes has been delivered to your office in Lagos to send it to makurdi is now wahala and my shipment arrived three weeks ago.

paulcr7: The word should be 'should' nt 'would'.God can have a religion and indeed has,where all races and tribes could choose to key in but they cant be forced to key in.Religious deviations are mostly based on personal issues,people want a god that will serve them and submit to their wishes and they created them.

All religions are man made, there is no such thing as a true religion. If there was a god and he wanted to be worshipped via a religion,that religion would have started from day one and all races and tribes would key in to that religion from day one.

Became an atheist cos i read somewhere how my "holy" prophet beheaded 700 Jews (of Banu Quraiza), i mean why would a God meant for everybody have favorite tribes, towns and people? why will god create some as believers and others as infidels? and he now tells the believers to kill the infidels. Religion doesn't make any sense.

I recently saw a video where boko haram lined up a group of people and were slaughtering them one by one, I am sure those guys where praying to "god" to save them, I am sure those guys were hoping for a miracle to happen at that moment and as usual god disappointed. it could also instead of dropping the h in hamid, it was simply replaced with l from abdul?

L was also retained in Lasisi which is short for Abdul Aziz.

So I will speak of when I was almost losing faith. I was the typical religious kid. The "typical christian", even in scripture union since I was an infant. I feared hell, church was boring, the bible was boring. Didn't know Christ. Was beginning to lose faith. Maybe if I had come on nairaland in those days, I would have become a "staunch secret" atheist. I have enough vocal skill, I have enough strength of words to evoke decision-making change, I have an uncanny ability to steer people to my side with "natural words".(All these have changed now)

But Just before that, I had the encounter, and became born-again. Yes, went for a camp-meeting, and was plunged into the depths of God-reality, never to break out again. All those years, I thought I knew God, I was wasting my time, I didn't really believe, any oppourtunity I got, I would act like a typical unsaved man. Then I got saved, and I saw the spiritual life in the bible. Then I looked some more, and I saw the intellectual life in those words. The hope. I've been walking with God ever since. I've proved this words:

Hebrews 11:6 No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him.

Faith in God is reasonable faith born of knowledge, faith in God's non-existence is blind unreasonable faith.

Knowledge of Christ, Is characterized by radical life-change ya know. There are many religious people who have nothing to do with Christ on our streets. We're meeting them. Changing them one by one with Christs light. We're showing the real-deal of Christ to nigeria. Preaching his love and his judgement, narrating salvation, living the life. People see this life, and cannot deny this change. Its yielding fruit. We're being stirred up in nigeria, we stand together for righteousness and integrity. We're everywhere. Look around. We might seem to be working behind the scenes now, but we'll soon burst forth.


So in the midst of my confusion and darkness, as I began to lose faith, I had the God-encounter that changed my life forever. Today as I preach I trust God to flow through the words that I speak, and it bears fruit. The spark changed my friends too. I carry the flame everywhere I go. And by God, my life will continue to bear witness with this message that encompasses man's all.

But like someone alluded to earlier..if you could reason with religious people,there'll be no religious people
