Dear, I thank God for you. You really are a warrior... Able to keep your head and write these inspiring posts even in the face of a very formidable problem. In your write-ups i sense unwavering strength and courage (even when it's obvoius that your courage and strength are taking a bashing at this time) I dont know if you're a Christian or Muslim, but this comes to mind whenever i read your posts... Hebrews 10:35 which says Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. Personally, as a woman that God has fought many MIGHTY and impossible battles for over the years, I must tell you this... This is a very small matter before God. He can do it. He will do it. I remember when i was going through a very very hard time during my banking days... Things were so bad that i dropped weight from about 61kg to about 44kg in 3 weeks without even doing any exercise. There was so much trouble involving EFCC, lots of money and lots of police wahala... I was totally innocent but for some reason i just found myself being dragged up and down... I was single with no one to speak for me, not even a boyfriend, husband or fiance! My parents lived very far away and even if they lived in town, could not even do anything for me. I had noone. And my oppressors knew it. My account was frozen and i couldnt even feed or move around save for cash sent to me by my parents. My friends went silent and i couldnt blame them. They were even scared because they knew the problem wasnt normal. Guess what the way out was? I was asked to meet someone at a hotel and my problems would end! Haba!!! My sister... One day as i was standing beside the road, waiting for a bus, i was standing near a stagnant and dirty looking pond. You know those ones all over Lagos. Green water on top... Obvoiusly no one had gone there in a long time... The holy spirit Just put something in my mind. Is that pond really dead? What do you think is happening underneath? And i thought about it, true... There were obvoiusly things happening under that green water... water plants and creatures alive underneath. There was obviously active acquatic life under all that dirty green water. That thought process encouraged me to pray my way out of that situation. The story of that deliverance was like a Hollywood blockbuster. You wont believe that people were telling my friends to "Tell that girl, whatever God she's serving, let her hold on to Him well well oh. This can only be God" Thats God's way too. When it looks like all is quiet and nothing is happening, be assured that plenty is happening in a realm we can't see. My dear, continue to hold on. Those miracles will definitely come. Sending lots of love your way this morning. It is well with you! Ps. You're on my prayer list for now. temyb: Hello everyone To the glory of God Almighty one of my twin was discharged today. Twin 2 would be ready to go home weekend or Monday by His grace. Soooooo grateful to God Almighty for everything,it's been a roller coaster ride but my God has been faithful. Apart from the money that is now over $300000 which I know God is working out something for us in Jesus name everything else has been good. I tapped into singing of praise as said my one mama here&it worked. Having spent double for my own payment as it was emergency God surprised me. Coupled with the fact that am paying $1800 for a sublet room,God surprised me again today by bringing someone unexpectedly to me. Still waiting on God for more of His miracles. Thanks to all the mamas and papas that pmed me&gave me words of encouragement when I almost lost it for the 1st 3 weeks without my babies&bills piling me but truly my God has indeed be faithful. Like Oliver twist am believing Him for more. Missing home ooo, can't go now cos they are still small&would need to still see Dr's till another extra 2months. |

Hi temyb Congratulations on the birth of your twins. This bill is unbelievable, I'm speechless. Is this with or without discounts? Pls hold fast to your faith without which we are nothing! Let the peace of God that surpasses human understanding be yours at this time. temyb: Hello everyone. My twins are doing great but still in the NICU,hopefully they would discharge them very soon. Saw their bill today&I screamed $290,000 for now. I just looked over it like I didn't see it before I faint but I know It is well. Sorted out my bill already but I know God would do something. Hoping my mum would come soon, she went for her interview yesterday and was given a white paper to collect visa Monday only for them to call her to come for verification on Tuesday. Please anybody ever had that experience before,I really need someone around me before I port to Houston where my people are. |

What's the reason you're flying Emirates, (if you don't mind my asking) Because right now Emirates prices are through the roof @$5k and above. If price is the driver, why not go klm or Air France? Their price is about $2.5k return to LA in August. September and July are Cheaper. And for me Emirates is an Israelites journey. Cheers. veleta: Good morning everyone, pls I need your inputs between flying Arik and Emirates,my destination is LA which is very far and am considering leaving at 35weeks. The stress of connecting flight from Newyork to LA won't be funny considering I would coming back alone with baby. Brother, Come let us reason together... Wife= 36 weeks pregnant Visa = still "in the pipeline". Let's assume you got the correspondence and visa, I don't know what airline will be willing to fly you to US at past 37 weeks. Except you have a Private jet... or do you? Advice: If you've paid deposit to this fraudulent agent, who obviously is trying to use your head, pls hold tight to your balance... Who remembers the chorus from that song from ivorian group Magic System? "on dit premiere gaou n'est pas gaou oh" Pls think it through again. All the best in all your endeavours. junglej: Hello all, please my wife is 36 weeks pregnant and wants to give birth in the States. The agent who is working on her visa says he is almost done with all the documentation but needs a letter from a doctor in the states to invite her for delivery and why its important for her to give birth in the states. She will definitely give birth there but the visa needs to be sorted first. Most prefetably Pittsburgh PA, but anywhere would do. Thanks in advance for your helo |

Ticket prices on KLM and Airfrance website which were quoted at 6.7k dollars return trip in August to LA on Monday have now stabilised back to about 2.5k. Exchange rate is 283 as at yesterday. I was able to book a ticket on hold for 2.4k. Thats about 690k naira. In the circumstances, thats better than the 2 million naira ticket I saw on Monday. I may have to manage it o... Welcome home babe! Congrats on a successful journey and may God bless your LO. TheLeakyTribe: I would like to thank everyone on this thread for their support through my second missionary journey, for keeping me entertained and for helping with solutions whenever needed. I returned to naija on Tuesday evening. It has been God all the way. I will share my testimony though this may be a long read (bear with me)
This pregnancy was a tough one for me and I thank God for how it all ended in praise. In the first 3 months I was bleeding and on weekly injections to sustain the pregnancy due to multiple uterine fibroids. At 11 weeks several doctors advised that I put in a cerclage to help me carry to term. Two days before I was to get the cerclage, my then 18 month old suffered 2nd degree burns in an accident and was admitted at the hospital for 3 weeks. I told God please spare my son's life, this one that I've known and nurtured, if you must take one, let it be the one in my womb. I didn't get the cerclage and I managed till January and everything normalised. Only rotimi get to the US and hear again about spots on the baby's heart from an ultrasound. The devil tried to frustrate me throughout but God was there every step of the way.
Labour and delivery.
I stayed with my friend who I also stayed with during my first missionary journey because we both have toddlers of the same age and were able to help each other and also keep the toddlers entertained. She went into Labour first on a Monday night, gave birth Tuesday morning. So I was home alone with the kids, and that very Tuesday at midnight I went into labour. I had to manage till morning when her aunty came to help me with the kids. So while in labour I waited for the kids to wake at 8am, fed and bathed them and arranged their things so her aunty would have an easy time. I then left for the hospital at 11am in an uber cab haha! The driver was so worried when I was screaming in pain. Got to the hospital and the doctor said my contractions were so strong that my uterus could have ruptured while I was at home, but my cervix was still at 4cm despite all the hours so i was wheeled into the OR and had my baby(repeat C.S).
Bills etc
Took 3 weeks to get all documents, had my baby 11th May and I'm home in Naija now.
Final testimony was emirates,we had 7 boxes( all overweight 2.5kg sef ) we were entitled to 6 boxes of 23 kg each plus car seat and stroller for two infants. They checked in all 7 boxes plus car seat, stroller and bassinet, we weren't charged anything, and luggage arrived safely. That was God again.
God bless you all. |

Sister, Please stop crying and save your energy for the babies. Methinks its too soon to start bickering with people about whether or whedant to take aid on NICU bills when the babies are still there.. Is there a way you can wait till after babies are out to take a decision? You don't need to be crying at this time... Please and please. My heart goes out to you babe... It is well with you! temyb: @ all, please need advice. Everybody is on me the take medic aid for the NICU. Biko,I said no but it's like am been too stubborn. That since am paying for my bills and delivery,I should allow medic aid for their NICU. It like am been strong head, they are all saying it's allowed. And that how can I pay for NICU for like 6 weeks. Se I have millions somewhere ,I can't even sleep at all. Am back home bit my babies are still NICU and I must say they are doing so well and strong,God has been faithful. Please expert mummies and daddies in the house I need urgent advice ASAP. Crying my eyes out right now plus the fact that am staying in Arlington,40mins drive from the hospital. Any mom around fort Worth or coming in next month willing to share apartment. I just want to be near my babies. No money can buy kids&am grateful to God for double privilege. |

Shuo !?! Which one is big belle again, when your children are 'surrounding your table'?? Okay nah!!! In truth, big belly after birth is caused by a condition called Diastasis Recti (Google it) and happens to a percentage of women of all races regardless of how they birthed. Whether VD, CS, VBAC, even VD after VD.... I know many CS mums with washboard stomachs and VD mums with big belly... Preach! What about the sisters that are: - In waiting for FOTW but won't go to remove fibroid or investigate the cause of infertility and how to handle? - Being domestically abused and brutalised by Oga ATT, but hang in there because as Christian women, divorce is abhorred? As for me, my view is that the Holy Spirit is speaking EVERYDAY... and he is speaking TO people directly on how to receive their healing, deliverance and blessings. If you follow the healing and deliverance ministry of Jesus, you'll see how vastly dynamic it was. - Some were touched physically - Some were aggressive enough to destroy church roof to get their blessing - Some sneaked up to come and collect thru the back. - Some shouted for mercy and disturbed everyone till their case was heard and treated. - Some were told that there was no need to follow them home because as army commanders, Orders are Orders... - Some had 'san-san' rubbed in their eyes - Some were even sarcastically yabbed, that they're dogs and not even on the agenda... and those ones still held Him to ransom by asking for the crumbs that dogs get! And they got it. - Some were left to die first, then raised up... Holy Spirit is speaking for TODAY and to you, for your own circumstances... not Pastor's, or Women leader's or MIL's or friends or Mum's circumstance. For those who will hear Him personally, all good. But for those who will not take time to hear Him, but will rely solely on others to take decisions... OYO. .. After everyone has thrown their advise at you, we all go home to face our own lives... These days sef. .. All most people get is "eyyaaàa" "pele" "O ma se o" after the stories that touch... May The wisdom that is solely from God direct our paths and our life's decisions. AMEN! Ajujuju2: The highlighted is the truth. Well said sister.
Lets remember that the hebrew women wanted their kids alive and born before the soldiers came. Relating that to this present day, the devil and his agents of death arr the soldiers. They wana rush in and steal your joy but Gods covenant with us is that we will be fruitful and multiply and He sends us angels in form of doctors to fulfill that promise.
Sorry guys I no b pastor wife o, but im led to discuss this today because this is one family where we can share and grow and learn. |

My dear! You're right. There's not much special about the USA. We go there to give birth just because we can. And because we feel like. And we can afford to by Gods grace. On my own side I also don't understand why some people: - Smoke cigarettes, weed, etc - have tattoos - spend money climbing mount Everest - go skydiving, bungee jumping - have plastic surgery - have body piercings - drink alcohol, or even coca cola every blessed day - Etc etc Perhaps I can just judge them as having money to waste... or perhaps not, because I have come to realise that it's not for me to understand everyone and what's important to them my brother/sister. To each his own! Cheers! Addicted2Women: You need to up how you think Wash plates in Mcdonald ?? Those jobs are for the Mexicans.
I still don't understand why someone would spend close to 2 million naira to come here to have their kids. What's so special about the USA ?? Na wa ooo |
