What the Venezuela Ambassador said is very true . . .however the problem is that corrupt nigerians would not allow it and the West would also not allow it. Hence one of the best solutions is either for Nigeria to break up or that there is a return to the days of independent regional governments (that control and consume only what they produce). That way, Western influence on the resource areas would be broken and reduced and thus make it hard for them to gain control of those resources. . . since it means the North would no longer have access to those resources once Nigeria is broken up or true self determination and federation is introduced into the polity.

Again I don't know how this children of eri can believe or practice traditions (apart from circumcision) that did not exist for them in written form and was introduced only when christianity penetrated eastern Nigeria. 2. Otherwise it would be wrong to say that Christianity brought circumscision to Africans in general because:

- Circumscision was already practised in Africa since ancient times (check out Egyptian history for reference to this)
- Circumscision is actually alien to European culture.
- I do not think Chrisitianity brought circumscision to the Yorubas (i maybe wrong on this ). . . (circumscision amongst the yorubas is one of the things i have always wondered about as to where they got the idea from)
