He went to the village to marry her which suggests they didn't really even know each other so it's hard to conclude they loved and respected each other. She probably was excited to marry someone from abroad and he probably was happy to get a wife after so long.

I agree there are instances where women act up after improving but many times the man is the one who lacks the maturity and self confidence to deal with it. i can easily see how he could be jealous and resentful after the girl he brought from the village is now earning more than him and more exposed while he has been here for 30 years?

Do you have any proof that they never loved each other that the girl was just pretending, do you?

Dat he went to the village to marry her does not necessarily mean that they never knew each other very well.
Knowing each other very well does not necessarily translate to a long lasting and happy marriage. We have heard of people who have dated for five to eight years but later divorced. also couples that once loved and cared for each other divorcing.

What do you mean dat DE man lacked the maturity to handle the fact that her husband now earns more than him whereas he was the person brought her to the United States trained her.

Do you mean dat he was not aware that if he trains his wife to become a registered nurse that she will earn more than him

You loving and respecting each other should have nothing to do with sponsoring self or not.

As a couple there is nothing wrong helping each other to achieve the life you want for yourselves, but if you feel wary about sponsoring her then it shows you don't trust her. You may as well break the relationship and find someone else who is at the level you want and doesn't need sponsoring.

What I will say is a couple who trust, love and respect each other, who work together for the good of the relationship and family can achieve a lot, and yes you may sponsor her today, but who says she will not be in the position to sponsor you in a different way in the future?

This couples in question once loved, respected and worked together for the good of the relationship but the sudden change in the behavior of the Wife is a cause for concern. She can get everything she wants but the aspect of of a time resident of any of this country is out of place .

i am Damian a student of Federal polytechnic Oko, HND2 computer science.
