oyb: the same world that gave us margaret thatcher, angela merkel, queen victoria is now a world where women are marginalized?
you are talking about northern poverty - it is poor female kids that are made to get married, just as poor male kids are made to become almajiris
you are talking about saudi arabia? saudi arabia is your yardstick for claiming that women all over the world are marginalized? do you know how ridiculous that sounds? so what if i decided to reference british women as a yardstick for women the world over?
if you have to pick particular societies with a reputation for being backward, then you know your argument is already flawed Leave that hypocrite she also forgot the divorce laws that suits women more than men that a man can give up all he worked for just for a failed marriage yet they don't see anything wrong in such laws. |

chronique: I don't support anybody cheating in marriage. The man brought it upon himself. For those saying "how did she know he was cheating with the lady": common sense should tell us she must have been tipped off by somebody. More so,he must have been doing it before. As a man,I'm very sure most of us will not like to see our wives, eating out with other men and going for lunch ordiner dates without us knowing who he is. Nobody should come with any silly excuse that it could be a business partner. When you're married, even if you have to go on business dates with the opposite sex, courtesy demands that you notify your other half, and carry him/her along. You just don't turn up in restaurants and when caught, you start saying it's business. Respect is reciprocal. Don't do what you won't tolerate from people. Will the lady accept being physically abused by her husband no matter what she does. Yet you guys keep saying a real man don't hit a woman not even to hit their wife no matter what she does but you support real woman hitting men and u are looking for a way to justify her actions. Hypocrisy at its peak |

Nigerians are too sentimental they keep shouting what did salah and mane win forgetting that this is an individual award and not a team award.
They are using mahrez as a case study but they forgot that mahrez performance outshone that of Moses. Mahrez was able to win the pfa placed of the year and was also in premier league team of the year whereas Moses could not even win the Chelsea player of the year.
Mane led Senegal to the quarter final of afcon scoring three goals on the process and also winning Liverpool's player of the season despite coutinho's performance
Salah led Egypt to the final of afcon he also won Roma player of the year and was also in the serie A team of the year. |

In the land of illiterates, any rumour is considered the truth. Especially when the password" Buhari" is added to such rumour.
I am still wondering who started these rumour?what a lot of people don't know, is that there are more Medical Doctors and Nurses in the Military than even the Ministry of Health, and that is why it is laughable and almost comical when I hear the question ARE THE MILITARY trained to give vaccination? Yet they couldn't treat the President |
Education › Re: Can I Still Graduate With a First Class? by Nobleking2000(m): 8:12pm On Oct 07, 2017 |
AntiWailer: Yes u can..
All u need is a motivation.
U need to target 5.0 in at least 3 -4 semesters and nothing less than 4.6 in others.
5.0 is easy. Target 75 in all ur courses for that semester. Attend class and don't procrastinate.
PM me let us have a deal.
If u push your CGPA to 4.5 I will give u 50k.
And 20k every semester u are still in that 4.5 till u graduate. I am interested not for the monetary value attached to it but I need a source of motivation that will help me get a distinction in my academic pursuit. I am graduated with a cgpa of 2.84 during my OND days which I considered to be a failure so I am currently working towards graduating with nothing less than 3.75 in my HND as I am newly admitted. |

adeptniyi: The best information portals and news websites don't even belong to journalist, most Nigerian journalist do it in their father's house only.
Yet they involve the services of one the best journalists in Nigeria to attend such height.
The point is journalism and Teaching are bound to be more competitive if not extinct, you need to compete with well experienced and prolific reporters, but one skill will pay off for you if you're a journalist - creative writing skills (copy writing).
As for teachers, learning is leaving Brick and mortar, Be NECO, JAMB, WAEC are all integrating IT, job insecurity has made online learning be the only alternative, no one want to leave his job to go back to university to pursue MSC or PhD, they will rather keep it and bag it from places like Cambridge university, or several other universities online that are globally recognised and accredited.
Open you eyes, see the future, and prepare ahead. Internet is next oxygen, and tech is the new life. Do you think that journalism ends on the pages of newspapers? |

YelloweWest: Nope. The teacher should discipline without violence!
Detention. Extra academic work clean up etc! That was how I was educated in schools. That's what's is been done to my kids when they mess up in school.
No teacher has the right to hit my child. I won't take it! You should also know that your child has no right two misbehave in front of any teacher despite several corrections. No teacher will also take it. If your child keeps misbehaving despite several corrections. The teacher will have to flog him or her for them to learn the hard way. |
Education › Re: Is It Legal For Teachers To Flog Students In Nigeria? by Nobleking2000(m): 9:55pm On Sep 20, 2017 |
YelloweWest: All the things u explained are not the fault of the child but the parents who failed to train them properly.
All of my kids wake up by 5am. Brush their teeth bath dress up. Comb their hair ON THEIR OWN! my eldest son is 11. As soon as it's 6 in the evening when the gen comes on he irons his uniform for the next sch day So does your 8yearold daughter. My maid irons for the younger ones
It's TRAINING!!! In as much as you have trained and disciplined your children but there must be times they will misbehave so in such situation the teacher should clap and applaud them for their misbehavior. |
