ITbomb: 90% of Hyundai cars in Nigeria are bought brand new and their custom duties have already been paid by Stallion Group et al , all you need is the purchased receipt and probably confirm the Hyundai Motors sticker at the back windshield
It is even rumored that Hyundai has paid extra to Nigeria Customs to block the importation of Hyundai toks
The few that are imported toks need customs papers Thanks. But won't Custom and FRSC disturb if they don't see the Custom papers? Assuming I am doing inter state travel |

Well we'll 2018 was a good year. I understand lots of people have reservations about certain Online businesses and opportunities.
It's best we take advantage of online opportunities, make money and invest in offline businesses.
2018 was a year for those who knew about Airdrop and Bounty on time. I made cool cash from those opportunities and I personally know some people who made more than a million naira just selling some tokens which were given to them for free.
Also, exchange business is another goldmine lots of people are yet to discover. Via Paxful and local Bitcoin websites, you can do your trading business (Crypto to Fiat and Vice Versa).
It's quite unfortunate that some peeps feel you need money to start some businesses but I disagree with that. Airdrop was and is 100% free, all you need do is fill forms wait for the token to be listed on an exchange, trade your token, withdraw your Bitcoin or Ethereum, sell and make your cool cash.
There are some offline opportunities people are yet to exploit such as exportation of Charcoal and some Agric products like Wallnut.
Also, people don't know how lucrative palm Kernel business is.
Kindly note, the year 2019 would not be different from the year 2018 if you don't seek proper knowledge and take necessary action.
To the question : 27years (the year I decided to stop being a loyal employee and I took the bull by the horn to be a rugged entrepreneur) Cheers |

CarGuideNG: Hello Sir.
If the Hyundai you plan to buy was assembled/manufactured in Nigeria and sold through a registered new car dealership in Nigeria e.g. Stallion Motors, as explained above such cars don't need or have custom duty papers, they have a different certificate.
If you're buying a Hyundai used outside the country and imported aka Tokunbo, then you would need customs duty papers, like all other imported Tokunbo vehicles. Thank you for your kind response. The uncertainty in the Nigerian labour market can make some one depressed. I will rather continue with my per hour job in UK or hook a citizen there and get papers than to come back to hopelessness.
If I didn't get the Nigerian job, I wouldn't have bothered returning. I was already exploring options of how to remain in UK legally.
You can take the route of marriage, but ensure you court a decent lady. I had a lot of Nigerians ladies that were UK citizen if you don't want to go for whitey. I could have gotten married to them and process my paper as we were also from the same state and attending same church. Sharp guy |

BeautifulMind2: POLITICS Defection tsunami hits Cross River APC, as Ita Giwa, BoT member, ex-envoy, others join PDP
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Thursday, at the Municipal Council grounds in Calabar, suffered a serious political tsunami as a former senator and two-time Special Adviser to two Nigeria presidents, Princess Florence Ita- Giwa, returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Others who also washed their hands off the APC in the state with about 5000 supporters were the former Ambassador to Mali, Amb. Soni Abang, former APC Board of Trustee member, Barr Tony Odey, as well as the duo of 1992 legislators, Senator Patrick Ani and Hon. Ernest Irek among others.
Ita Giwa, speaking at the event said: “I am back to ensure that the turn by turn policy is followed, as only zoning can sustain democracy without fight while creating opportunities for all to raise their heads.” Waxing philosophical, Ita-Giwa disclosed: “In over one year I went on that trip to APC, it wasn’t good for my body because a white goat loves no stain or dirt,” adding that “I feel guilty leaving this family as upon my return, so much love was shown to me and I was not shut out or looked down upon.”
She added that the governor, Prof Ben Ayade, has performed so much magic which all must collectively return him back to sustain his vision aimed at repositioning Cross River and making it the envy of others.
“I cannot fight Ayade because he made the hitherto abandoned Bakassi Local Government Area to be celebrated among the existing local government areas in the state and indeed Nigeria. I am back to sustain democracy, to join hands with Ayade to win elections, for the sustenance of carnival which is dear to me and for the governor’s industrialization drive,” Ita- Giwa intimated.
On his part, Ambassador Soni Abang expressed happiness that he finally took the decision to return to the PDP.
“My supporters and I are happy to be back home. I had within the past few years withdrawn from active politics because when you marry a wife with a problem, staying in the same house becomes a problem, not to talk of going into the other room.”
According to him, “PDP is a great family and there is no way Uche Secondus will be a national chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku contesting as President and Prof Ben Ayade coming as governor or Senator Imoke urging me to come back to the fold and I will say no,” the former envoy noted.
On his experiences during his stint with the APC, Abang disclosed that “while there, we couldn’t agree even on the party exco, we couldn’t conduct our primaries, the party does not respect court orders and today the same party is trying to cripple our judiciary,” adding that, “the national chairman of PDP today has redefined and remodeled the party as evidenced in the last national convention adjudged as the most transparent in the country.”
Another returnee, Hon Ernest Irek, said “it is only the PDP that has a reward system and anything that has no reward system is not a better option.” Lauding the programs and policies of Governor Ben Ayade which has endeared him and his team to return to the political family, Irek who was a 1992 House of Representatives member representing old Obubra Federal constituency said: “Your programs are programs of tomorrow, nobody will allow any senatorial district to cheat the other, we are back to our home and the time for business is now and we are going to deliver.”
Former governor, Senator Liyel Imoke said he feels like a “contented old man to see the family gathered today as one. It takes the collectives to get results, as such, these key leaders who have returned to the fold are very fundamental in our struggle for 2019.”
Imoke who applauded Ayade for accommodating the returnees, pointed out that for this to happen, it is a great effort aimed at uniting the political family. Receiving the returnees in the presence of the governor, Prof Ben Ayade, his deputy, Prof Ivara Esu, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, some members of the national leadership of the party, the PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, assured them that, “the party is for all, for the entire people, you are all co-owners in this party and everyone is a leader.” He applauded Ayade for his industrialization drive in the state, maintaining that the vision to decouple Cross River from its dependence on federal allocation while creating jobs for the teeming unemployed youths must have endeared the returnees to come back. While extending hand shakes with the political bigwigs who returned to the PDP, Secondus said: “On behalf of the national leadership of our party, we welcome you back to your home and I can assure you that all your rights and privileges are this day restored unto you.
http://dailypost.ng/2018/11/16/defection-tsunami-hits-cross-river-apc-ita-giwa-bot-member-ex-envoy-others-join-pdp/ Bunch of senseless bigots. Selfish vampires who only care about their stomachs. Soni Abang who was very influential as Party Chairman was retired by the same Liyel Imoke from active Politics and after trying some businesses which didn't work out he wants to align with the failure Shoki dancer governor who does not have any business in Government House. |
Career › Re: 5 Disadvantages Of Being A Banker by Noblepreneur: 4:31pm On Nov 14, 2018 |
gisthabit: Bankers are seen one of the most respected people in the society because of the prestige and glory attached to their profession.
Like every other professional, being a bankers goes with its own disadvantages most of which are not known to the society of the people around.
In this article, I will share with you some of my experiences and an ex-banker.
5 Disadvantages of Being a Banker
#1 Every day at Work Is a Risk
As a banker for every day, you report to work you are risking your life. Incidents like armed robbery attack can sometimes become messy to the extent that you may get injured or even killed.
Another great risk is for those in cash and teller unit, there is always a chance of cash shortage or loss as a result of an overpayment, over posting of a cash deposit, wrong posting etc.
The bitter truth about cash loss is that you end up paying for the loss as the bank hardly bear the loss.
#2 You Will Be Drained and Have Less or No Time for Yourself
This is one of the most frustrating parts of the job. You leave home very early and come back very late. It can also be worse when your branch happens to be a very busy branch.
The impact of this on your life is that your relationship will suffer as sometimes you may not even have the time to start a relationship.
If you are not smart it may even extend to your personal development.
No banker comes out of the sector the same. You go in full of energy and you come out drained and sometimes with sicknesses like stomach ulcer due to poor eating habit, back pain as a result of too much sitting
Most times bankers end up working for their next of kin as they may hardly have time to give themselves a treat.
#3 No One Believe You When You Say You Are Broke
Yes, no one will, in fact, they will always see you like the money bag.
A banker colleague of mine once approached a provision seller in his street to buy provisions on credit with the hope of paying in a few days’ time when salary must have been paid, the provisions seller told him that he has always believed that bankers have the liberty to take cash from the vault any time they are in need.
This is why your relatives will always call you for money because they feel bankers have a lot of money to throw around, in fact, they see you wear designer suits, shirts, and shoes even though it may be okirika.
#4 You Will Be Guided By A Lot of Rules
As a banker, you will be under a lot of rules and regulations. Rules that says you can’t marry your colleague, rules that say the colors of clothes you must wear, rules that prohibit you from using other banks ATM even when you are dire need of cash.
For those in cash and teller unit, you will be made to declare the cash in your wallet every day you come to work and submit your phone before the commencement of business.
#5 High Chances of Getting Punished for Someone Else’s Crime
This can be very heartbroken especially when you have put in a lot of years of hard work in the system.
The funny thing about banking job is that when one person commits a crime or fraud, a lot of people will go in for it. These people might be innocent or even have no idea of the crime prior to its discovery.
The punishment broom most times sweeps away both the guilty and the innocent.

Imuno: Hello nairalanders, I want to discuss something with u guys.
There is this girl that we've been close for a very long time. Though she is my bestie, but I noticed the way she liked me so much. Though she had boyfriends but presently she is single.
But there is nothing about her that I don't know, her love life, her family, everything about her, she made it open to me. Even her family thinks am her boyfriend.
But here is the problem, I am having feelings for her, like we should be in a relationship. As a guy, I can say if a girl is in love with u. I think she's in love. But I haven't asked her out. Am thinking maybe I should? And again she schools at Ibadan and I school at Ogun state.
It's when we come back home to Lagos we see very well. Sometimes she comes to my school and vice versa. Should I tell her my mind, maybe she has fallen for me too, or I should keep it to myself.
Am confused. Help a brother Concentrate and face your Book. Relationship is meant for adults who are independent and can take decisions without asking the world. |
Politics › Re: Ikuforiji Accused Of Buying ADP Guber Form For Ambode, Evicted From GAC Session by Noblepreneur: 6:17am On Sep 25, 2018 |
DzTzl: Party members are showingg their grievances to the Governor they presented to the public and some people with no membership card or that are sympathetic to another party are talking trash. If you sincerely want to help Ambode, get APC Card and vote for him on September 29, or wait till 2019 to use your INEC Card against the APC in case Ambode loses the Primaries.
What stops Ambode from appealing one by one to the Party members instead of begging Jagaban? Fashola appealed to the party members, the party members then told Jagaban "It's Fashola or nothing", Jagaban bowed to the people. That's how politics is played. Ambode needs his party members more now than all those political mumus making noise, anyone who cannot find someone to sleep with or transfer something into cannot have a biological child.
Apc Lagos should be applauded by all lovers of democracy for taking away their party from Political office holders and give it to the people.
Jagaban supported an aspirant that lost the primary in Ondo and another in Ekiti and even in Kogi, when it didn't work out, did he leave the APC? He bowed to the party, he even withdrew Faleke from Kogi so that Bello can have peace. That is Jagaban for you, he will never rebel against the popular opinion!!!
If Ambode wins the primary, Tinubu will climb the podium and work for him. If I were Ambode, I will ignore some fools around me, I will stop focusing too much on Jagaban and work on party members. For now, Ambode has abandoned party members to Sanwo-Olu as if they won't listen to him if he attempts to bring them to himself, he now focuses 100% on Jagaban! Wrong Politics.
