My major reason for sharing the info is because there are very few Nigerians in those programmes. No African/Nigerian in Communications Engineering for the past two years, maybe longer. There are more of Asians, especially Indians and Chinese. From my interaction with them, they are equipped with adequate information about the programme, sometimes, before graduating from Bachelors. Maybe we could bridge that gap.

Lastly, opportunities abound in these fields and they come with price tags.

It's been a while here and kudos to everyone keeping this thread alive (much respect for the Ancestors). I would like to encourage prospective Engineering/Computer Science applicants to explore Master of Science in Communication Engineering or Power Engineering or Informatics at TUM. While doing this, try garner the necessary IT skills before you leave Nigeria. It will surely help you here, both for study and student jobs.

So far so good university of munster is the only school I've seen in which am eligible to apply for MSC information system....other schools i see either require German language knowledge or I don't meet one or two requirements.

Do not enrol in a doctoral program because it is an alternative to what you want because there are days that it could be frustrating. Ever thought of preparing for a departmental seminar on one of your papers and people thrash your work that you feel you have wasted your life all the while? Sincerely, what keeps the going sometimes is that you are doing what you really want.

That said, why not think of getting funding abroad for your program since often times, the school will fund all you need? Think through this option and should you think you want to do the research in Nigeria, then try apply for the various fundings available within the country.

To be sincere I've been troubleshooting my brain on what to do in other to get income. I got a new laptop early this year with the intention of using it for any online business but as I'm typing now, it is laying useless on the table.

I've been thinking and praying for God to show me the way. Since this week I've been restless (always thinking). I'm presently in my cousin's place in Lagos, and it's expected of me to be going out in the morning and returning in the evening. Transportation is really eating me deep without any income at the end of the day.

Please anyone that has a tangible business be it online or offline that can at least bring income no matter how small, I will greatly appreciate.

I'm thinking of even enrolling for an ICT training to boost my skills and worth. With this comments that are flooding everywhere, I know I'm not alone, there are so many people together with me aboard this ship.

Acquire relevant skills while in School. Don't forget that you can also make money as a Student.

The issue is not that there are no jobs, there are jobs out there(Fiver,Craigslist, Upwork etc) but you need to prioritize and know what you want.

Note,if you possess any of this,you will hardly go broke:

a) Specialized Knowledge (knowing what others don't know)

b)Specialise Skill(Possessing Skills that others don't possess eg Web Design,Apps Development, Ethical Hacking,Plumbing, Phone Repairs,Laptop Repairs, Car Repairs etc)

c) Specialize Product ( it is not compulsory you buy a product, you can sell for companies and get your commission)

There is money in Nigeria, if Nigeria economy is behaving funny, then think global.

Read about Bitcoin, Forex,Palm Kernel/Palm Oil Business,Agric. Produce Sales/Storage Business,Binary Options,Mini Importation, Domain name sales,Crypto-currency trading etc.

Just Think( avoid Yahoo,make your money legitimately)

Feb 2 2017:reminder to fund.
Feb 92017 : am mail..tho i didnt fund i was syprised
Feb 12: submitted my passport and insurance.
Feb 14: recieved a mail that d am mail was a mistake And that i should bring proof of funding.
I opened an account with fintiba within 24 hrs..
Funded :march 20
Visa :6april.
Am now in germany..glory to God!
