Obama did greatly in the debate - we call it STRATEGY! Mitt Romney is a slippery and complicated guy, its hard to get a hold of him in anything. He shifts mor ground than Julius Berger has ever done in Nigeria!

He has been offering promises all the way, without an fundamentally sustainable action plan. All Obama did tonight is to get a chance to hear him out on his action plan, so he can tell the world how f***ed up those Mitt plans are, and how they rubbish their recovering system.

America is a country, where most believe in principles and vaues, and will rather choose to die than be dished the opposite!

Obama just has to play the cool fool, let Mitt rant all the way. Mitt is like Nigeria - very hard to understand.

Obama finally has an idea of what Mitt represents, his team will go back to develop further strategy for the next debate. The average Nigerian residing in Nigeria seems more concerned about the affairs of a foreign country millions of miles away on another continent than what obtains in Nigeria. Yet, you wonder why Nigerian leaders dey take una dey play yeye while you continue to suffer and smile and live in perpetual darkness without those noisy generators when you should be holding your crookish looting leaders accountable for their actions or send them packing.

I'm a global citizen and not just a Nigerian citizen! I strieve to be a holistic person, well rounded-up in versatile fields of endeavor and knowledge. To achieve this, I follow positive things as far as I can-Obama being one of them! I've had him as a role model and mentor, I've learnt a whole lot from him, tho never met him. He is a prof, while other global leaders are students in his class.

I wish to see the underlisted issues being discussed:

True Federalism: The component states being able to generate its own revenue, and contribute a certain percentage to the federal govt, and not the reverse that is breeding laziness, envy, and poverty. I will want to use the case of the newly found oil in Anambra to elaborate this. Who ever knew that was oil in anambra, until the Anambra govt invested huge resources and partnered with investors to actualize that dream. Immediately the oil was found, another lazy neighboring state realized that the oil belongs to them. If they knew it belongs to them, why have they not started milking it a long time ago. Thats the spirit our system breeds-laziness-everybody waiting for the federal allocation. Nobody or very few are willing to look inwards and start being productive! Shame on those who choose this system we practice!

f i o: I was asked this question during my NDA 64regular course interview, we call it sand modelling, it goes like this: their was a huge explosion in a village and 4 were injured and they have just 1h 30mins more to survive. At that very time there was a heavy storm, the roads are also vey bad. As a leader of an emergency team from from the closest hospital connected by 40km road to the village were asked to pick from the fastest means to make the 4victims survive. The village and the hospital are also connected by air and water.firstly, U have a helicopter that contains 2 emergency members and 6more passanger spaces, but due to poor visibility u have to wait for 95mins. Secondly, u have an ambulance which contains 2 emergency members members with 2 more passanger space, but due to bad road the sppeed is limited to 40km/h, it takes 2mins to load and unload passangers, finally, a double engine speed boat which takes 5mins to service each engine, contains 2 emergency members and 4 passanger space, it uses 45mins to move from the hospital to the village, if both engines are used it takes 30mins, it takes 5mins to load and unload passangers. What do u think is the fastest and why?

stannydon: The question is irrelevant and has nothing to do with the post. Am a curious citizen and wants to why there are lots of praises to the governor as compared to what is on the ground. I travelled to my community last month and only to be discovered that the present administration has lost focuse of governance. I asked questions and people told me that the governor is only deceiving the illitrates who have no idea of what governance is all about. There is no good access road to my community, dilapilated public schools, Local govt funds have been syphoned, All the youths given jobs by the previous administartion are now roaring around the streets and in their various villages stranded. There is high level of insecurity and kidnapping, Owerri has become a no go area, destroying some of the pave works around egbu road and repainting them. Wake up and face reality on ground and stop making some bias comments ok!

I'm not a fan of Gov Rochas Okorocha, but I'm pretty confident that he must be responsible for your poor expression in English Language and your elevated understanding of governance!

-Why have you not sued or slapped the gun toting soldier or police man for collecting bribe or harrassing you?
-Why have you not sued to beaten the pump attendant who sold fuel to you for 200/ltr?
-Why have you not drafted a bill to the National Assembly proposing 'life time jail term' for corrupt citizens. Come to think of it, what did you do when you heard about the man amputated for stealing maggi in the market, while the other woman who stole billions spent 6months under house arrest?

Leadership is key in a lawless country like ours, where we understand the true value and sanctity of life. Ask a wise man above 60years, and hear him out on this.

I'm so impressed with this Obama government. Prior to this statement from the White House, I was dismayed with Mitt Romney's remark on this volatile issue. His remark prove that his brains doesn't have a rational thinking capacity, I saw the tilt in his brains positioning. In what way could Obama's government be held responsible for the values and virtues of every citizen in America. America really has to apologize to the world if the video(which I've not watched) has such ill intent. This also calls for a review to the freedom of expression clause. What extent should freedom of speech or expression be permissible? Do I still call it freedom of expression or speech, if it has the potential to cause innocent citizens harm?

I'm sorry to tell us that there's no formula for love. This write up is a relative truth, not a general truth. We all have experiences, and our experiences tells us that different women react differently to different strategies. Who still uses kerosene lantern, hand fans and morter and pestle in the big city. What are the electricity charged lamps meant for? What are blenders meant for? What are electric fans meant for? I can only say the type of gift presented reflects the capacity of the senders mind.

I actually said the there is corruption in America. If corruption can thrieve in America, with systems that work; how much more Ghana. Ghana, comparatively is a model in Africa. Check out the crime happening in Ghana and compare it with what happens here. I can stick my neck for this argument antwhere. Leadership is Nigeria's problem, not followership.

I'm so dismayed by the kind of arguments seen here. Our problem is just the government, and not the citizen. The government and the citizen, who is in charge? The citizen is just a reflection of both the permissibility and efficiency of government. Our problems are systemic. We don't have structures that work. Check out civilized climes, they only have structures that work. You as a citizen knows what you'll get for any action you perform: positive or negative. When we set up these systems, we don't even need perfectionist to manage them. Systems work on their own. Everyone understands how they work too. See Obama's reform, is he blaming the washinton corruption on the citizens, NOPE! He blames the past leadership. How is is addressing them? Restructuring the system. How many times have you seen seemingly incorruptible people resign or sacked from his cabinet? There is corruption in America, but the government can't live with it. Does that happen here? Yes! Only when they start speaking the truth or pro-masses. The Government is our problem. Take Ghana and Rawlings as a case study. Do you thing Nigeria have better activist than Ghana? NOPE! It took the vision and power from the top to make Ghana a model in Africa.
