I am a Canadian Permanent Resident currently vacationing in Nigeria. I have a return flight to Canada next week. My Interirary is from MMA Lagos to Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in France to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) in Germany and finally to YYZ in Canada Please do I need a transit visa for this trip as a Canadian Permanent Resident? If yes, anyway I could get the transit visa in a few days before my return next week? |

Family / Re: Help! My Wife Doesn't Want To See My Best Friend In Our Apartment Again by nonen(m): 3:14am On Sep 10, 2022 |
Tell your friend that his sister is mischievous and trying to damage your marriage to your wife and relationship with other neighbours. Tell him that your wife has decided that no friends come to the house going forward until these issues are resolved. You can always meet your best friend outside your home. Your wife is a responsible woman and has made the right decision. If she continues association with that woman, you’d be here next year saying women are scum or that you’re divorced. You can choose your wife and respect her decision and have peace or choose your best friend and his irresponsible sister and make your peaceful home a circle of crisis! 229 Likes 10 Shares |

Nairaland / General / Free Cash For The Needy by nonen(m): 5:32pm On Jun 13, 2021 |
Given the hard and harsh economic times we all find ourselves in, I have been moved to share some token that would help the Needy get by at least for a day. The aim is to help a Needy family get atleast a meal for the day, I consider this like the Manna which God provided for His Israelite children for their daily sustenance. I find it hard to determine the criteria for identifying the Needy, therefore recipients will be picked randomly like a lottery. Anyone else with an idea or thoughts on how to truly identify the Needy? I will truly appreciate that. Thoughts on how to make this more transparent will also be welcomed. I am hopeful to God that I can continue to do this on an unpredictable regular interval, as God continues to shine his light on all of us. Before we get started, I'd like us to suggest how to make this process transparent, the best way to identify those who truly need this little cash and prevent fraud. May God continue to richly bless you all. Amen. |
Politics / Re: May 29: Presidency, Reps Disagree Over Buhari’s Six-year Scorecard by nonen(m): 6:19am On May 29, 2021 |
It’s funny how the presidency abi crazidency just listed mostly policy statements and plans as achievement. I’ve never seen this kind of desperation by a government to portray before its citizens that they are successful and progressive, while all the indicators of a progressive and successful nation are pointing downwards - we’re simply at rock bottom amongst nations. 76 Likes 6 Shares |

aieromon: Baba thanks for bursting his real identity, as I’m too busy chasing shitty things. He sent me an email apologizing for scamming me and said he regretted his actions. Its shameful that’s what he does here, as he has different names for his scamming business. It’s funny people don’t know how this thing called destiny could be ruined for very little things - People should learn from the experience of Esau and Jacob in the bible. Since he feels the 5k is worth his destiny, he can keep it. |

Cpossibility: The scammer didn’t have to do that, he could have simply asked and get his own, without being a criminal. People who have a choice to get something legitimately should rather not resort to criminality to get it. Our mentality is really weird. 3 Likes |

Any person blaming the OP has a heart disposition like the posters wicked friend. There is something called trust, do not blame the person who trusts, but the one who betrays trust. Our mindset as Nigerians is super weird. 3 Likes |

Cpossibility: I felt bad and touched about your story. He’s not your friend anyways. No matter what or how you may have offended him in the past, the worst a wicked person who wants to pay you back in your own coin could do, is to decline to help, rather than bringing you so far and excommunicated you - that was beyond wicked. Like many persons have already said, take it as blessing in disguise. Anyone who blames you on this your experience is similar or even worse that your supposed wicked friend. Send me your bank account details make I mellow your mind small - you need a positive attitude and mind ahead of your new week. I don wire you 5k make you use relax your mind and try to move on. 26 Likes 3 Shares |

Nigeria’s problem is very easy to figure out and solve. However, the major reason why it’s impossible to resolve its challenges is because of trust issues among the tribes. Everyone lives in suspicion of the other and sees the other as an impediment to their growth and success. |

You are really the problem Bros. If you’re a responsible man, your wife should not be having problems with your own mum, but she don see you finish to figure out say calling your mum mumu for your presence will only bring you to Nairaland beer parlour. Better start summoning your family and in-laws in a bid to reconcile your wife and mum, before your mum go lay curse on your head. 7 Likes |

Omihanifa: Holding to her opinion is already pitching him against his mum. Some women are bad, but not for a total stranger(your wife) who barely knew her for a few years to come and convince me that a woman whom I’ve known and supported me for decades is suddenly fetish in a few years. 168 Likes 15 Shares |

You married a bad wife, she’s the one who’s fetish and serving you fetishizes. If you’ve always been sending your mum money yourself, it’s condescending to have your wife start doing that on your behalf. Talking about fetishizes, your mum may be fetish - yes even if she is - she’s used those fetishizes for your good, that’s why you could earn to support her. Don’t you think: for your wife to discover her fetishizes, your wife is also a fetish woman? 460 Likes 33 Shares |
