Car Talk › Re: Why Is The Engine Fan Connected Direct To The Battery by nonhuman(op): 8:54pm On Apr 02, 2020 |
TRYGO: Tow reasons could be adduced to y its connected that way: 1. its either that engine has an underlying overheating wahala, that mechanics have tried unsuccessfully to solve, or, 2. it was done because of the common myth about from some quarters that "our weather here is more tropical than countries of origin of purchase".
Try having that fan reverted, so you see what's going on. if it overheats, get to the root cause(s) of the problem.

I share your thoughts man franchasng: US government is paying citizens and permanent resident holders $1200 and above depending on your income and size of family....Canada is paying $2000 + house rent, Spain is paying house rent, babyseater, etc, Ireland is paying citizens, PR holders, students 350 Euros per week to cushion the effect of the economic hardship coronavirus will bring. All countries are rolling out massive welfare packages and even post-coronavirus pandemic economic palliatives to ensure their citizens doesn't feel the negative impact of this global pandemic now and when it is over.
Buhari and APC just woke up and said they have compiled a list of vulnerable and poor Nigerians and families, when and how Who compiled the list, how did they compile the list, using what indices and who was in charge
What stopped them from sending whatever welfare package they have to all Nigerians using their BVN to ensure accountability since BVN can be tracked And then do whatever they want to do for those in remote villages without bank account or BVN through their traditional rulers and local councilors
The answer is they want to use this opportunity to loot and steal billions as usual, and to roll out free food and crumbs to their lazy brothers in the north who contribute nothing to Nigeria's economy, leaving those contributing to the growth of Nigeria through hardwork behind.
I will keep saying it for the whole world to read and know that black people are the curse of the world!!!
Black people are selfish, wicked, inhumane to one another, corrupt by default, greedy, and very envious.
The only thing a black leader like governor, senator, president, minister, commissioner, LGA Chairman understand is how to steal public money to make himself and his family and close political allies rich forever. They don't care about their citizens.
Every black person is corrupt just waiting to manifest once given a political or leadership position in the society, office, organization, etc.
The only black man that does not steal is the one that is not in a political or leadership position, or the one that has not gotten the opportunity to manage or handle organization or society funds.
Black people can only observe decorum when they are working under the supervision and leadership of a whiteman, or when they are living in a whiteman's country where they know that their nonsense will not be tolerated because he will be severely punished by the white man's law without twisting or allowing him to bribe his or her way out like he does in his backward black nation.
If I was born a white man and I am the President of my country, no black man will be given visa to my country and any black that eventually succeeds in entering my country will be locked up, and if by chance he marries a white lady, I will make a law that will forbid giving him permanent resident or citizenship just like it is done in Malaysia and some Asian countries. Black men and women all over the world are fools, they should go back to their countries and fight their foolish leaders and fix their nations, it is becoming a global disgrace.
A time is coming when all nations will hate blacks so much that black people will become endangered species in any foreign country, whether they are citizens of that country or not and I will gladly support the white supremacists when that time comes, I don't care if they deal with me too cos I deserve it for being part of this black retards, it hurts!!
It hurts to see Buhari and the likes govern the biggest black nation!
It hurts to see youths who are supposed to be the hope of the black nation supporting failed leaders like Buhari and co!!
It hurts to see how unorganized and dirty Nigeria looks!!
It hurts to see millions of Nigerian youths unemployed, underemployed, hopeless, helpless and oppressed to point of no hope!! |

Billiebaba: Pls scan the car first, that direct connection to ignition might have caused it to have difficulty operating at closed loop, the engine's computer might be trying to make it enter close loop, thereby increasing the fuel trims. Lavisha: Good pm, Oga Gazz. Yesterday, I drove my Honda Accord 07(4plugs) from Lagos to Abuja and the ride wasn't so smooth. From Lagos everything was perfect until I get to Osun, I discovered the car wasn't accelerating as normal i.e it's taking time before it select gears and as things get worse, small noticeable sound like blop-blop was coming from the engine chamber so I stopped and get a road mechanic to check, to my surprise: the mech guy told me to change the gear, I just told him thanks and zoomed off! I discoverd each time the problem above problem starts, I just park; switch off the ignition and switch on again and lo, everything will be perfect for another 70km before I repeat and that was how I get to Abuja. I called my mech back in Lagos, he said I should change the transmission oil and everything will be fine. Prior to the journey, the Lagos mech serviced the car and told me to change the transaction oil, also change the plugs at next service but I didn't change the oil due to his antics of ripping me off. My bad tho, now in the city, the car seem to be normal again but I know inside of me- it's not 100% okay. What could be the problem pls? it happens to me and I just changed transmission oil to hot gauge car become normal again |

tojahh: I have an Hyundai Elantra 2008. The acceleration is not proportional to its speed. When you accelerate, the car drags and never goes above 80km/h. At a point you'd hear a cranking sound from the engine. Yes there's enough oil as it was serviced about 3weeks ago. Please what is the issue with it. Help a bro.

Car Talk › Re: REMOTE FAULT ASSESSMENT AND DIAGNOSIS GUIDE By AutoMoTech by nonhuman(m): 5:40am On Jan 09, 2020 |
Areaboy2: okay. understood.
However, a bad mass air flow (MAF) sensor should throw out an error code. Check engine light dey on? if yes, have the vehicle scanned and you may find the real culprit. Depending on the car make and year, a dead MAF sensor does not necessarily translate to dead engine. sometimes it may still run but run poorly and accelerate poorly too. what year and make is this car? when the MAF sensor is disconnected, can you confirm it makes absolutely no difference to the engine idle speed?
the poor acceleration you mentioned, is this when the MAF sensor is disconnected or just every other day? The check engine light is not on. Also if the MAF sensor is removed the car does not show any sign except when you trottle. The poor acelaration occurs with the MAF intact. It's a Hyundai Tucson 2008 |

Areaboy2: not an answer bro but just curious how you reached your question?. It seems very direct, like you have eliminated all other causes of increased consumption. Even bad tires dey increase consumption. sorry bro I did not eliminate all other possibilities but I have checked through mechanics and other experts they said ather things bthat could cause that are all in good condition and the only thing left is the air flow sensor, that when you unplug the sensor from the engine the engine is suppose to stop but in my case that engine continues to work, which shows that the air flow sensor is bad also find it difficult to accelerate properly after few minutes on the road |
