Yeah ur right..4 is Sauce and 5 Dagrin. I was just as clueless as u are as to who 1,2,3 are..but then if u listen closely ull get the hints. Lemme try to highlight some of the give-aways ( btw dunno who 3 is ). While speaking of rapper 2 he said "Nobody can test him when he's really rapping" ( Remember that song..Nobody test me by Jesse ft the choc bois..where M.I dissed Kelly Handsome "Only one Kelly that i know..Kelly Rowland? ). But then in the line preceding this, he said "I feel like the money and fame are finally getting to distract him". Now u"ll ask urself.. money, fame and jesse in one sentence..how?..Lol. I just feel its Jesse tho. And as for Number 1..obviously M.I. He said.."I think he's the GOAT..at least he had his shot once" ( who else can be referred to as the GOAT if not M or Mode 9 in Naija? ). I feel its not mode tho. Why? Here's why..he also said.."Was busy being mad at the industry"..plus "Dont tell me there are no rappers in naija..even if we only 5alive, we'll still have some juice in us". I take it that uv heard M's..YOU RAPPERS SHOULD FIX UP YOUR LIVES. He was obviously referring to that song. Ps; something tells me 3 is Vector..
nice one " sherlock” . I swear I was blind, I ought to have read between the Lines to deduce he was referring to m.I in position number 1. Especially when he said he was being mad at the industry saying there are no more rappers in naija. Damn! I should have seen that. As for number two, am not too sure, you maybe right. But am still skeptical though. Slot number 3, hmmm! Well, let me give it another listen after charging my phone bro. I must say the song is a beauty. Thought he was born and raised in lag?

Now that's got to be Ridiculous ( pun intended btw )..M.i, Hench, & Boogey. I mean the title of the song in which according to u..Boogey took M to the cleeners..RIDICULOUS..Lol. You have obviously been sleeping on Boogey...wow. Yeah he does have a couple of songs out..he even dropped an Lp earlier this year Nouveau Niveau. I'll tell u this..leave the Nouveau Niveau for later...give these songs a listen first..Liquor nights, 5am in Lagos, Diplomatic immunity ( Drake cover..pls listen to dis if at all u dont listen to the others ), if juice mask off ( Rap mashup ), All love. Boogey is such a genius..an incredible story teller. Nigeria's best kept secret if u ask me. Its just saddening to know that good music/rap music doesnt sell as much as the "kedike" sells in this part of the world.
heard the diplomatic immunity, dude delivered as usual. Wait o! Who were the rappers he was referring to in positions 1,2,3. I think 4 is sauce kid. then 5 dagrin. Its quite shocking that he doesn't understand Yoruba. Giving the mask off cover a listen now

searching for those songs right away. And yeah! I admit I have been sleeping on him won't lie. As for good music/ rap music not selling here, in fact the thing they pain me die. Very very sad. If only they knew the amount of work good rappers put in to drop them gems, hmm! Its the media and the brain dead public that are to blame. The media only promotes all these pangolo artistes churning out pangolo songs. Can you imagine I only learnt m.I released like two albums this year, rendezvous and young denzel, damn! No extreme publicity no mad hype. What the fork. I was angry, downloaded them immediately, though yet to give them a listen. But if its tekno or davido that wants to drop album or single, dem no go allow man rest on t.v radio and social media. Then the public here, in fact make I no go there. I wish rappers and rap could be huge here.

boogey! Is this dude still spitting? Been a while I heard any joint from his. Does he have any new mixtape or album worth checking out? Still love how he took m.I to the cleeners on a particular joint they did on illegal music two. There was on die besting (digesting) line he used on that track.

Isnt beef like the best thing to happen to rap music? Hell yeah..Lol. I mean especially if both rappers are EVENLY matched. I mean cant forget the 50 and Ja rule brouhaha from back in the day so quickly. Niggas just kept churning out diss tracks back to back. While we the fans ( the greatest beneficiaries of any beef episode if you ask me ) just sit in the comfort of our homes and listen to the good music being churned out. Mehn i miss the good ol' days. Back to topic..something tells me Em will let this one slide. Even if he does respond..it ll be shortlived. Fingers crossed tho..
greatest beneficiaries, the fans? Hmmm! Your opinion though. Agree with you on the rest. That ja vs 50 beef was good. But my favourite beef episode has to be nas vs jayz.

Never really was a fan of the guy..until say some 5hrs ago. MGK is/was one of those guys i just hear about ( Like in the news ) and thats all there's to him. Like i said, we hate what we dont understand or how is that ish even said again? Lace up huh?...i sure will give it a listen. Regarding the beef tho..like you said the real slim shady is almost untouchable. I mean Em pre sobriety would totally body this guy. But can post sobriety Em do same? We"ll have to wait to find out i guess. Dunno about you..but i sure as hell would love to hear a response from Em..
hell yes! Pre sobriety Eminem is who I have been longing to see. No question about it, that guy ll body bag any body. But this post sobriety Eminem isn't that bad though, judging from this kamikaze album he's still good and shouldn't be underestimated. Eminem started as a battle rapper so I believe beef is engrained in his DNA. Yeah! Its lace up the album not the mix tape. Do I want a response? Every hiphop fan is ANXIOUSLY awaiting a response. Hell yeah! I want a response. This is what rap needs. Not rappers beefing and dissing each other on twitter. But make Eminem no fall him hand for the response o if he does reply, cause mgk is the underdog here and this underdog is damn hungry. This is a perfect time for him to drop a mixtape or an album sef.

Just heard the song. Machine gun kelly tho. And to think i hadnt heard any track of his prior to this moment. They truly say we hate what we dont know. I'm a huge stan, but i gotta admit..this dude came good on this one. He just won himself a fan...
lol! The guy is good I must say.been admirer of his since his lace up days. If you are a fan, would suggest you look up works from that lace up album or if possible, download it. There's a stand out track there, edge of destruction. Please hear it. But regarding his beef with Marshall mathers, I don't know men. On a good day, the real slim shady is almost untouchable. I love them both.

I don't think you got the motive of the song.

MGK has always highlighted how Eminem influenced his music even before he blew up. Eminem was his favorite artist while growing up.

Ever got angry when someone you took as your model/hero turned against you over something trivial

And what got Eminem angry? A simple comment(joke) from MGK about his daughter.

The rationale behind the track is not to outrightly diss Eminem but to praise him and at the same time get him off his high horse.

PS: Although I expect Eminem to win this battle, the track from MGK was pretty decent I won't deny this. He praised Eminem and dissed simultaneously. The combination was flawless.

I agree with you 100% but all Eminem stans wont agree with what you have said. He dissed him well, dude even called out kim, damn! He did all these while acknowledging he is the best rapper alive.

this guy is telling the story and it feels so real for me, and I'm sure it's the same for anyone who live through that era.

2001 -2004

This guy was the king of music mehn in a way that just wasn't normal for rappers

From appearing on TRL to up in smoke tour, signed 50 and he blew, 8 mile, etc

Eminem was huge and everything he touched turned to gold. D12 were one of the biggest beneficiaries but everybody around this guy was catching undeserved Ws

obietrice, xzibit even snoop and Dr Dre

hearing him tell the story of the downfall of D12 resonates heavily cos we saw it first hand. even the style of this song is following the typical D12 template. it's almost the same beat as How Come - arguably their 2nd highest hit song.

no other rapper will ever come close to what Eminem did in those years. ever.

where did you download it from? Till now you haven't answered me

The guy took on literally everybody...even charlagmane

He seems pissed off about the critical recption of his last album

The very first 4 tracks keep talking about that.

The track with Joyner Lucas is interesting, in that i think this is the first time eminem has been murdered on his own sheet.

the Joyner track is the main reason I want to hear the album. For about 3 years now, Joyner has been my best spitter. Though, I still love kendrick . I just can't get enough of Joyner. I won't be surprised if he upstaged Eminem on that track. Dude is that good

I used to listen to rock from early - probably say 98 or 99. it started as rap rock. Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, P.O.D, Cypress Hill, Kid Rock etc.

I just got to a point between ss3 and year 1 at uni where I started i was listening to some really heavy shittt - this mixed race boy from school got me hip to bands like Marilyn Manson, Korn and Metallica, and then I just went from there.

Plus this was the era of proper MTV - when you watched MTV to hear the latest sounds, and all my favourite shows on that channel had a rock aesthetic - beavis and butthead, celebrity deathmatch, Jackass, tom green show.

Eminem was also huge that time and he in my opinion was also one of those rock/rap guys.

long and short, blame MTV lol - they even got Jay-Z rapping to rock beats!
lol! So freaking true

lol! Well we are different sha. Wrong turn was like a comedy to me. I just kept laughing at the victims stupidity. If they were wiser they shouldn't have fallen victim. And to me, after the first one, I just didn't get the vibe in the sequels. They just made them gorey. The first one I actually enjoyed. Seen the hills have eyes?

Slashers are cool, Friday the 13th, nightmare on elm street, wrong turn etc. But their stories don't thrill me. They just really on gore and body count to keep shxt moving

This is so hilarious.

So you think this thread is where people come to make jokes.

See how you describing a part of Nigeria like what one sees in movies.

So you think, if umuahia and Owerri were truly like that, there will still be job opportunities there by now??

Mention just one industry in Owerri and the entire imo state apart from premier breweries in Awo-omamma

Mention the company that pays 100k monthly in Owerri

Where are you working in Owerri and imo state ?? Are you earning upto 100k there?

You just sounded so shocking like you are not resident in Nigeria......

There no state in Nigeria that fits your description of Owerri and umuahia including Abuja.

My best and honest Advice for any Nigerian graduate now is:

If your sponsors are still interested in your career while waiting for jobs.....learn a skill or improve on your discipline by gaining more professional certifications or go for higher degree......I highly recommend learning any skill that can provide your basic needs while in search of the big job.

You could learn skills like mobile phone repairs, making of clothes like female wears, men suits etc, learn how to make shoes, flip flops, sandals etc, learn catering, laundering, go into snail farming, goat rearing, plantains and banana , fish farming, how to operate industrial machines like sachet and bottle water productions machines, learn tiling, interior designing, how to make liquid soaps, how to repair laptops, how to cut hair, how to make female hair, plumbing etc then if you like business so much but still get a skill.....look for fast moving products or raw food items to sell like, sales of Irish potatoes, water melon, cabbage, plantain, banana, yam, stock fish, crayfish, eggs, beef, goat meat, chicken, tomato paste, body cares, sales of machine parts, keke parts, bedsheets, semolina, plantain flour, Harris, beans etc....

If you can put your pride aside....u know what I mean, the attitude of I am a Bsc holder, master's holder etc put that attitude aside....learn any of those skills mentioned above....you are good to go.

In places like Abuja, since your father or mother or uncles are not senators, governors, bot chairmen, bank MD, etc.....those skills will sort you out.

Think of it this way, a senator can not fix his plumbing issues, electrical problems, weeds his surroundings, tends to his flowers, wash his clothes, cut his own hair etc.....you see that is where these side skills come in.

And I can tell you this, many graduates that have acquired these skills are earning more than the so called office jobs. You were suit every morning, enjoy AC, speak good English, all for 40k per month or 50k per month or even 70k per month......

But a small service you render with "dirty clothes", without grammar, inside natural breeze...within 30mins to 1 hour...can earn you 5k minimum to 20k depending on your bargaining power. With just one client.

Please and please, make I wrote for pidgin.....if u know get connection, abeg as u dey find job, go learn handiwork. E go pay u well. Anytime work come, u fit still dey combine nam with ur handiwork....but if na very big job.....like Exxon mobile, NNPC, CBN, fIRS, etc....u fit leave the handwork or even put one for your trained boys to be handling it for you.

Abeg know let ABI graduate attitude deceive u.

Education know be like before again.

If you are not interested in all these above, and u get beta sponsor, u fit travel abroad.......and again your skills for here for help u too abroad or u go school again study beta course for abroad then begin work and earn very well.

Na so e reach me for mouth to share with Una.

Una dohhh ooo
abeg double gbosa for you.

You've done your best by going to the school and dropping your CV, all you need to do is to wait, pray and hope for the best. Doing any so-called follow up would be tantamount to 'desperation'.

Besides, in order to broaden your option, you should still drop CV in other places. It is well!

I told him I want to see the principal, he told me they have closed for the term.session. He assured me he ll get it across to the principal whenever he comes. Abeg please, what should I do now. Wait n pray? Or follow up by looking for the school's tel no. Online and call them? You are right. Because in this case, "I'm sorry" isn't enough. But the person apologising should go straight to the point & not wait to be asked before revealing why the calls weren't picked. Like, "I'm sorry dear I missed your calls. I was: in the bathroom/in the kitchen, on the road/Praying/in a meeting etc."

Btw,why give someone 10 missed calls except it's really urgent or you want to make a statement? It's creepy and disturbing to me o.
"or you want to make a statement?" Can you shed more light on this please.
