not surprised corruption in both high and low places |
all this talk about tb joshua, tb joshua shows his importance if you are not relevant, they will not talk about you looking at facts, he is doing what no other man of God in this country is doing, and the more the critics, the more he seems to rise |
abeg i see all this as unnecessary negativity. let's get behind our boys and spur them on |
@ the poster save your mocking and farce please, making anyone a laughing stock is not biblical, fair or right |
i heard that tb joshua's club my people fc actually has two players in the lineup for the eaglets anyway, it was God dat helped dem come abck into d game tonight - by the way dey played de first half - anyone would tink dey would concede another 3 goals. but nigeria are still very much in contention. |
regarding dis post it is true dat ayew is never quoted directly as not speaking with tb joshua. if the media and critics are so sure of this, they should provide a direct quote from him saying dat. but all we hear he said is that he does not know tb joshua. i mean, come on what is dat? we will not be fooled by dis propaganda. as for the coach, it would be a crazy thing indeed for him to be confirming something that is not true. he knows his reputation is at stake and he still persists that tb joshua spoke to him and gave him instruction. and we know dis coach is not crazy. therefore, what he is saying must be true, however uncanny or weird it may seem - God is involved in football ![]() |
i knew our boys would show some character and battle back, Glory be to God for helping dem!! but please ooo, am not too happy with dis baba stanley okoro - he is too old and anyone with a good two eyes can see it. let's use our talented youngsters to make a difference - the coach cannot say that doesn't have a younger player dat is d same level if not better dan okoro, abeg by d way, whoever said earlier that the eaglets went to london to train, that is not true - it was all planned but didn't work out in d end. in fact d only international play dey had was when dey went to Qatar two weeks ago, |
dey should remove some of the babas on the pitch and bring on some super subs |
i believe our boys can still turn this match around - with the help of God they are obviously nervous and not used to dis big stage not withstanding, they played terribly but it can all change. dat zeal and commitment that was absent in d first half will display itself in d second half |
the game has been delayed by 30 minutes - but i don't think that will make such a difference, the pitch was embarrassingly water-logged |
U-20 World Cup Revelation: T. B. Joshua Assisted Us —Ghana Coach October 19, 2009 By Lanre Babalola Revelations on how Nigeria’s Prophet T. B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations assisted the Ghana Under 20 team to win the World Cup on Friday in Egypt have emerged. Revealing this on Ghana television monitored on Emmanuel TV, Victorious Vision when the team arrived the Accra International Stadium on Saturday, the Ghanaian coach, Sellas Tetteh thanked Prophet T. B. Joshua for assisting the team with prayers to win the cup. When asked how the man in the Synagogue assisted the Black Satellites, Tetteh said: “Prophet T.B. Joshua assisted us. Joshua was with us on the job and he talked with all the players. He was an inspiration to all of us. He was speaking with us all the time during our stay in Egypt.” P.M.Sports gathered that before the highly explosive match that saw a Ghanaian player being sent off the pitch in the 36th minute, the Ghanaian coach phoned Joshua to seek his prayers for his team to beat the highly rated Brazilians. Prophet Joshua confirmed to P.M.News that coach Tetteh actually phoned him in the morning of the final to seek prayers for the success of his team. He (Joshua) said he told him (Tetteh) that his team would carry the day if they obeyed God’s instructions concerning the match. The instructions according to the man in the Synagogue is that the Ghanaian team should defend their goal post very well and limit their attacks on the Brazilians. “I told the coach that there will be no goals’ in the first and second halves of the match and that they would go for extra time which will also not produce any goal. I told him (Tetteh) that the match will be decided by penalties and that the coach should ensure that Andre Ayew (No. 10) takes the first penalty. “I said if they do that victory is theirs,” Joshua told P.M.Sports. It was also gathered that Joshua’s prediction that the Ghanaian team will have problem in the first half came to pass when a player of the team was sent off the pitch for foul play. The Synagogue pastor told P.M.Sports further that the Ghanaian President, Prof. Attah Mills phoned him to seek success for his team before the match. “I told him (Mills) that his team would win if they follow divine instruction. They did and they won the cup to the glory of Africa. “You know when they sent off that Ghanaian player from the pitch, the Ghanaian coach phoned me and I t old him not to worry. I asked him to tell his boys to defend well and that no goal will be scored during that half and no goal was scored,” he added. During the penalties, Joshua it was gathered, phoned coach Tetteh, who did not want Ayew to start the penalty shootout, to allow Ayew take the first penalty to seal victory for the team. After the victory, the Ghanaian coach was full of praises for Prophet T. B. Joshua for standing by his team. When asked if the Super Eagles of Nigeria will qualify for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa next year, Prophet Joshua has this to say: “Super Eagles will qualify if they play the game as if it all depends on them and pray as if it depends on God.” http://thepmnews.com/2009/10/19/u-20-world-cup-revelation-t-b-joshua-assisted-us-%E2%80%94ghana-coach |
Here is an interview Complete Sports had with Tb Joshua regarding his involvement in the match: Africa’s 1st U-20 World Cup Title: How TB Joshua Orchestrated Ghana’s Historic Success Synagogue General Overseer Speaks On Consultations With President Mills, Coach Tetteh With the whole of Africa still celebrating Ghana’s historic feat at the recently concluded FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt, the man singled out as the brain behind the success by the country’s President, Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has revealed his own side of the story. Prophet Joshua divulged to Complete Sports in an exclusive interview at the church premises on Saturday, that Ghana’s President, Professor Attah Mills and Black Sattelites coach, Sellas Tetteh were constanstly in touch with him on Friday morning (match day), for prayers and counselling. “According to him “Mr. President and the coach were constantly in touch with me on the morning of the match. We talked severally before, during and after the match. “I told them that they should remain focussed on the task ahead of them with a special warning that they should not hurstle to score a goal in the regulation time. I warn that if they should look for goals, they will end up losing the game. “They called me again at half time and I repeated the same thing. This time around, I specifically told them to rush things as the match will be settled after extra time. That means after 15 minutes of two halves. “When the penalty kicks were about to start, they called me again to ask how it will go. I just told the coach that, he should allow his number ten (Andrew Ayew) take the first kick and they will end up winning the game. “They took to my advice and everything went favourably well at the end of the day, and we are all celebrating this great feat by our African brothers.” It would be recalled that the revered man of God had predicted correctly, matches involving the Super Eagles recently. On the list are the matches between Ghana and Nigeria at the Nations Cup in 2008, Nigeria versus Tunisia and last Sunday’s crunch ties between the Super Eagles and Mambas of Mozambique. terencefru:in response to your post above, please take time to investigate well before making rash statements. the registration that goes on at the synagogue is for those going to the prayer line for healing. the purpose of this is to get a good record of the contact details, etc. of those prayed for and the problems that they were having for testimony purposes. that is why all the prayer lines are recorded - for the purpose of testimony. record is very important. after all, if the disciples did not record the miracles that Jesus did, we would not be reading about them today. the healing service takes place every last friday of the month, but those with hiv, cancer, etc. are prayed for on Sundays. as for the thousands of newcomers and others that troop into the church every week, there is nothing like registration or booking or appointment note for them. they just come when and as they wish. concerning the prophecy - during the service every sunday, tb joshua prophecies to many in the congregation. take note, these are the people who have not booked or done anything before entering the synagogue. those for healing of hiv nad cancer do not even sit inside the church, but are positioned at the prayer line. so, your reasoning doesn't make sense. others that have booked for healng attend the monthly healing service which is a day set aside for healing, very few prophecies are given on these days. concerning what you said that he does a trick and repeats it over and over. how can live service be tricks? every sunday, his service is broadcast live, including miracles & testimonies & prophecies, concerning the prophecies, tb joshua has explained it many times that he speaks in parables, |

Cover of today's National Life - touching story, Widow, 9 Kids Eat From Refuse Dump… 2nd Daughter Impregnated By Lunatic For Philomena Sunday, mother of nine, the 18th of August 2004, led like a tunnel down the mythical Valley of Death. On that gloomy Wednesday, her husband passed on, and the world literally locked down on her like vice-clamps. For the next four years, subsequently, life went progressively from bad to worse, until eventually the lady found herself and all her nine children picking their meals, clothes and all of their livelihood from refuse dumps: “Even the clothes we wear, we pick them all from the dustbin and wash them,” said Philomena, “sometimes, if we don’t make it early to the dust bin, we don’t have anything to eat at all. We pick bread, groundnuts, yam, everything we can find to eat.” For several years, this was the lot of this beleaguered family from Warri, which had lost its breadwinner, as the young family, which includes two teenage mothers, continued to snatch a living from the jaws of death. Unknown to Philomena and her young children, a strange lady had been watching them daily, at the refuse dump where they picked their meals. The lady didn’t stop at that. She decided to find out what the woman and her children were scavenging for at the dump, on a daily basis. Fired by her curiosity, the anomymous lady approached Philomena, who tearfully narrated her ordeal to the stranger: “She asked what I was doing at the dust bin every day, with these children, picking food, and I answered, ‘My sister, things have been very difficult, and even when I went to people to beg, they usually disappointed me.” Continued the destitute woman as she narrated her encounter with the strange lady, “Even the man I had, whom I thought was going to help me and my children and train them in school, disappointed me, so this is where we get food to eat.” Moved by her story, the stranger promised to help her. Then she wanted to know if Philomena had ever heard of Prophet TB Joshua and his Synagogue Church of All Nations. When she answered in the negative, she told her to prepare to meet with the prophet, whom she was sure could help the widow and her family, if he heard their story and could confirm it. Unknown to Philomena, the faceless lady had made a video clip of one of their previous scavenging trips to the refuse dump as she and her children rummaged through mountains of refuse, searching for food, disused clothes, shoes and all, as well as empty cans, which they sold for N50 apiece, to buy food. The stranger hired a bus to convey the family to Lagos and armed the mother of nine with her video tape which she urged her to make sure Pastor Joshua saw, in order to believe their incredible story and possibly alleviate their suffering. Last Sunday, a capacity-packed cathedral of misty eyed worshippers listened with rapt attention, as the pathetic story of the widow with nine young children was told from the mouths of the victims themselves, backed by the video clips from the unknown stranger. It was soon time for the eldest of her daughters, Faith Abumere, to speak. She confirmed the story of the family’s great suffering earlier narrated by her mother. Then she launched into her own personal experience. Because of the hell her mother and siblings were going through, she decided to find a man to whom she could be betrothed in marriage, in order to help rescue the family from its plight. Unbeknown to Faith, however, the man she found was himself an unemployed person who needed help, equally. She became a teenage mother, bore him two children and increased the cycle of poverty. “Even the clothes I am putting on now are from the dustbin,” she said tearfully. “But suddenly, my mother came one day to tell us that one would woman told her about Synagogue… I know that as we are here now, our story would turn around.” The story of Anthonia Abumere, the second daughter of the family was no different. She too got lured into a relationship she thought would blossom into marriage and help rescue the family from their wretched existence. Unfortunately, her liaison turned out to be one with a man who was a lunatic. She too became a teenager mother and the family’s problem worsened. “I did not know that the man had a mental problem which, whenever it occurred, he would be misbehaving outside and people would be running from him,” narrated Anthonia. “Last June, the problem relapsed,” she went on, “ he beats me and my baby and sometimes he would kick us out,” cried Antonia, with a huge scar from a stitch that marked her pretty face, cuddling her equally lovely infant baby. So, back to worse poverty she crawled, prostrate before the elements and a pitiless world. As the audience sat glued to their seats, the voice of Prophet Joshua cut them out of their contemplation: “That marriage should be immediately terminated. It’s a wrong marriage caused by poverty… your future first, before marriage. Let them face their career and future. If the Lord says the will marry tomorrow, they can marry tomorrow – but that marriage should be stopped for now.” Turning to the family as he preached to his congregation, Prophet Joshua noticed little Esther, her exquisite little face smudged by hot tears: “Wow! What a beautiful girl,” he exclaimed. “If you don’t help this one now, she would turn out to be like her sister who married a mad man,” said the prophet, shaking his head, sadly. Prophet TB Joshua called on his congregation to help restore the family. He said the family would first undergo deliverance. “We must do whatever we can to restore this family and make them part of our families and counsel them; we must not allow these children to be destroyed.” Thereafter, he made a cash donation of N500,000 to the family in addition to 10 bags of rice and his trademark gift of the Holy Bible, promising further assistance to help educate the children. Other cash gifts and donations started pouring in from the congregation, as well as from watchers of Emmanuel TV, worldwide, who had been following the live telecast of the Synagogue Sunday service. Donors included a caller, Josephine, from Denmark, who offered clothes and other support for Philomena and her children. Another caller, Mike, from Abuja, offered little Esther scholarship from primary school through secondary school. A regular female worshipper at the church opted to pay for accommodation for the family, as well as an offer of scholarships to four, out of the family’s nine children. semid4lyfe:TB Joshua is paying me nothing for posting dis. I am posting it because i tink it is about time we nigerians appreciate dis man of God. his prophecies are many and are clearly accurate, very few people can open deir mouth and confidently declare something before it happens, and keep on doing it. if God was not with him, he would have failed miserably by now and would have been seriously exposed - but as people keep on criticising and persecution. his ministry keeps on growing. as for you saying dat he should predict d result of kenya vs Nigeria and Tunisia vs Mozambique, he can only predict what God reveals to him. Are you trying to tempt God or what?? what is bad about the Ghanaian president contacting tb jioshua? He respects him as a man of God (who even prophecied concerning his election) and what is bad in the coach contacting him? Maybe he saw how God had used him to predict the nigeria, tunisia result and nigeria mozambique result and sought for advice, anyway, i don't believe anyone should fight about dis man. let us just continue to watch and see d outcome of it all, Acts 5:33-42 When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. 34But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35Then he addressed them: "Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God." 40His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. 42Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ. |
This is from today's Complete Sports. When will Nigerians wake up to appreciate what we have ![]() PRESIDENT MILLS THANKS NIGERIANS! Singles out TB Joshua as Lead Prayer Warrior For Ghana's World Cup Success Ghana President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills was full of thanks to Nigeria for their prayers and support, which he said ensured the Black Satellites won Africa's first title in the U-20 category following a pulsating penalty shoot-out victory over Brazil yesterday, which threw the whole of Ghana into frenzy. President Mills revealed that he had contacted Prophet TB Joshua to intensify prayers for the team after he was alerted about how several predictions of The Synagogue General Overseer on Super Eagles' World Cup Qualifiers came to pass lately. Our source revealed that the Ghana U-20 coach, Silas Tetteh had also made a nocturnal visit to Nigeria to meet the prophet, and was told that Ghana will win the match on penalties, provided the coach allow Andrew Dede Ayew to take the first kick - which eventually came to pass. "It gives me great joy to rejoice with Ghana and indeed Africa for this win. I was on line to Nigeria asking for prayers from the man of God to help our team, and I was assured that we will win on penalties. May God bless Nigeria for their support," he said. "I was told what the man of God said; which revealed that we will win on penalties - and thank God it has come to pass," the president revealed. The president said that the win has brought more joy to Ghanaians all over the world and indeed Africans, who had waited for 32 years to bring the FIFA U-20 World Cup trophy to Africa. It would be recalled that Prophet TB Joshua had predicted all the matches involving Super Eagles correctly, and it remains to be seen what awaits Nigeria's Golden Eaglets at the forthcoming U-17 World Cup. @ dustydee if we had drawn the match, he would not have been correct, you can check it in the video, the way he said the prophecy, the way he said it, it was connected to the "its not every time they beat us" apart from that he said clearly that we would score a goal and d goal would be a header and dat we would be one ahead - so if we had drawn, it would not have been correct and he would have received a lot of ridicule and embarrassment, even from his members, who all heard as he gave d prophecy if right from time, tbj's prophecies had not been correct and had not been coming to pass, what gives him dat boldness to keep on prophesying? there are three conclusions: 1. he is prophesying but using another source of power (not God) - you cannot doubt that what he is saying is not coming to pass, because it blatantly is, if you say he is using another power, just time take to evaluate his whole ministry. jesus said, by their fruits you will know them. apart from the healing and miracles dat are so prevalent in his church, his sermons are purely bible based and he always prays in the name of Jesus Christ. apart from dat, look at his works of charity, for example, every sunday he gives out scholarships tio needy students, watch his station or go to his church, pray and judge for yourselves by the fruits, 2. the second conclusion is dat he is a mad man - only a mad man would keep on prophesying tings before dey happen so boldly for d world to hear live on tv, if dey were fake. just listen to him and look at him and you will nkow this is not d case. he reasons as normally as anyone 3. he is a true prophet of God, sent from God to dis generation, speaking what God tells him to say and when God tells him to say it, |
Dauchman:regarding d above, are you saying dat there is documented evidence of tbj harrassing a male or female sexually? if so, bring it out and prove it. also, are you saying that tb joshua's work is not connected to d bible? if so, where did you get dat from? all his sermons are bible based, he quotes scriptures continuously in his teachings, apart from quoting dem, he is doing the work of God as prescribed in d bible, e.g. works of charity, caring 4 d needy, etc. [apart from d miracles, deliverances, etc.] those that doubt what i am saying, just take time to watch one of his live sunday services |
HERE IS THE LINK FOR THE VIDEO OF THE PROPHECY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpHBUpjAAq8&feature=related by d way, i am not a member of his church, but have been dere a couple of times and regularly watch his station emmanuel tv. i watched d service when he made this prediction and after dat i watched d match and the prophecy was glaringly obvious. i was doubting that nigeria would score and yet in d dying minutes, dey scored and it was a header. |
for those who say why can't he tell us this or that or the result of this or that since when do people dictate for a prophet or for God? if you are saying he is a prophet, sounds like foolishness to test or tempt God, tb joshua will only say that God has revealed to him and when God wants him to say it and if you are saying he is not a prophet, why are you asking him to prophesy this or that? does it make sense? |
Here is d video of how he said it at around 3pm on Sunday, 2 hours before kickoff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5TUXaLWTGY for those who say it is fake, how can it be fake or frauded - when he said it live on tv for all the world to hear? if indeed, as some are saying, that he said it after the match, how about d thousands dat were in the church (most of dem, newcomers) were dey all part of d plan? if he was in the habit of predicting tings after dey happened, by now, all his members would ahve left him for d utter disgrace if it is false and not from God, what gives him d boldness to keep on prophesying? wake up people of naija and recognize a prophet for a prophet abeg |
Another one from TBJ. Have a read. Found it just now on Africa News: A GOAL A'HEAD': TB Joshua on Nigeria, Mozambique World Cup Qualifier In a proclamation of uncanny precision, controversial Nigerian Pastor TB Joshua has once again shocked his plethora of critics and wowed his army of supporters, this time correctly prophesying the result of Nigeria’s World Cup qualifying encounter with Mozambique, just hours before the match commenced, “I learn you will play ball today,” said Joshua during the weekly service at The Synagogue Church of All Nations on Sunday 11th October, beamed live to the world via Emmanuel TV. It was approximately 2pm. “Do you want me to talk about it?” A thunderous roar from the crowd sounded their palpable eagerness to hear more. “Because the man was heading ball like a footballer, I quickly remembered that you have ball today,” said the prophet, referring to a member among the congregation who had earlier jerked his head under the Spirit’s influence. “We need a goal to lead the other people. If we can just have one goal to lead them. We need a goal ahead of these people. It’s not every time they will beat us. Draw, draw, draw, draw, ” Proceeding to demonstrate someone scoring a goal, the prophet then shouted, “A goal!” much to the delight of the riveted Nigerians within the church. “We’ll smile differently today. This man will head a goal for us. We’ll smile.” The beaming prophet went on to demonstrate someone heading a ball, indicating the means by which Nigeria would score the winning goal in their crucial encounter with Mozambique. Hours later in the Abuja National Stadium, the match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Mambas of Mozambique kicked off at around 5:15pm. It was a critical contest that would either dash Nigeria’s World Cup dreams or keep the flames of hope alive. In a largely frustrating game with countless scoring opportunities missed by the Nigerian strikers, the game approached the final minutes with a stagnant score line, neither team able to register a single goal. As the game entered stoppage time, Nigeria frantically piled on the pressure, knowing a draw would signal an end to their South African ambitions. In literally the last attack of the match, Obafemi Martins close-range shot was parried by the impressive Mozambiquan goal-stopper Joao Kapango, only for the ball to be hooked back into the box for Obinna Nsofor to head home from six yards, finally breaking the resilient Mozambique defence. Seconds later the match ended with Nigeria securing a vital 1-0 victory, left to hope a fumble from Tunisia in the final qualifying match would gain them a ticket to South Africa 2010. Interestingly, the outcome of last month’s qualifier between Tunisia and Nigeria was also predicted by TB Joshua. The prophet had stated on Sunday 6th September that he saw the match as a 'balanced' affair, further describing it as a 'tough' game. “They could not take a decision – who is the most powerful among the two,” he said. The match eventually ended in a 2-2 stalemate. Prophet Joshua’s repertoire of accurate predictions continues to steadily increase, his prophetic ministry coming to the fore of late with predictions such as the deaths of Michael Jackson and Gani Fawehinmi being widely reported. The prophet is also known for his extensive charitable activities, giving over N4.3m worth of scholarships to less-privileged students in the course of the same service on Sunday 11th October, alongside N500,000 to a widow and her nine children who had been living in and eating from a rubbish dump in Delta State for over four years. His ministry continues to attract growing support and patronage across Africa, particularly due to the popularity of his television station Emmanuel TV. Sorry if I appeared blunt and vendettarish, but the issue is provoking, especially after the MRI Scan palaver. Look, this is a guy who three weeks ago was touted to play for Super Eagles - http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/sports/article01//indexn2_html?pdate=180909&ptitle=Martins,%20Etuhu%20may%20return%20against%20Mozambique - and suddenly he's under 17 playing for the Eaglets. He's also in the home-based Eagles squad - http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5416297-146/26_players_make_home-based_Eagles_list.csp Come on. If he was 18 or 20 it's more understandable, but this one is too much. We have raw talent amongst the youths - why now go for a 30 year old guy who's already making a name for himself?? That he's talented is assured, but it doesn't mean we need to chuck him into the Under 17s, |
Check out the comments on this report: Stanley Okoro Grabs Hat-Trick In Nigeria U17s 4-1 Win The Heartland forward has shown he is one to watch out for at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup, Nigeria's Under-17 team, the Golden Eaglets, defeated Qatari club Luqiyya FC 4-1 in a warm-up match ahead of the Under-17 World Cup, with Heartland star Stanley Okoro netting a hat-trick. Okoro got his three goals in the second half, while the other Nigerian goal was scored in the first half by Olarewaju Kayode. Mighty Jets striker Terry Envoh was also in fine fettle as he spearheaded the attack, while the other Heartland star in the team, full-back Orji Kalu, started from the bench. "This was a remarkable improvement from the team I travelled with to Dubai a few months ago. It is really a team to be proud of," top team official, Garba Lawal, told Goal.com The Eaglets are on a training stint in Qatar prior to the FIFA Under-17 World Cup, which they will host starting on October 24. Nigeria, who are also the defending champions, are drawn against Germany, Argentina and Honduras in the first round of the tournament. The team are expected back in Nigeria on October 16. The venue was National Grammar School Nike (my Sec. Sch.), Enugu. Okoro was then in either SS1 (my level then as well) or above me (i.e. SS2). He later played for the famous River lane FC while still in school and even after his sec. Sch. That was the last I saw him before watching him again in of Rangers matches like two seasons ago. I’m 28 years old. Stanley Okoro is older than I am. Now he says he is under 17. God save us . I wish FIFA will test every player b4 the tournament begins proper so that we’ll learn to do the right thing that will benefit us. True under 17 are all in Sec. Schools unless the person never attended sec. Sch. or dropped out. May God help my dear country Nigeria. Owoloabi - Nigeria: Stanley Okoro is 32yrs old. Old man with young boy skin SANCHEZ: This people at the NFF will never learn, and its costing the country dearly. what exactly is the point of winning this youth tournaments then fail to qualify for the big one (WORLD CUP). The coaches and the crazy guys running football in nigeria are responsible for the tiny players in the super eagles cos they spend so much time choosing old men with tiny physiques and declaring them to be U-17s. As for the so called 'teenagers' from heartland, they will not make it big in football if at this stage of their lives, all they are thinking about is making it into the U17 team. when are they going to start playing as an adult, even if they make it to europe, they can only sign for clubs on schorlaship basis cos they will be deemed 'too young' to sign a professional contract. by the time they get to the right age, their bodies will be too old to do anything. So many of their guys who did same are roaming the streets of europe now doing nothing. What a joke, this okoro guy is far older than Ibok Edet whose parents used to be our neighbour. He’s older than most of the guys in siasia's team. Chris: To the topic at hand, if Okoro has played for rangers for two seasons and heartland same number of season and still under 17, hmmm, he must be an avarter. Lol Cletus Okoro don play 2 season for heartland, still dey under 17, e be like say,him age e dey count am go backward. may next two years, he go be under 15. Mike The fact that Stanley Okoro played for rangers three season ago is enough to say his over age. Kachi Oron, Nigeria It is impossible to see a 20 year old boy in the Nigerian league. All of them are matured men. Aluko I have personally played in the same team with Stanley. He is nearing 30. This is just ridiculous. And he missed the MRI Scan?? |
my question is: what gives tb joshua the confidence and boldness to keep prophesying if what he is saying is not coming to pass. the prophecies that he gives are live on emmanuel tv for the world to see - they are not pre-recorded ones that could easily be recorded after the event (:-) how is it possible to stage manage something which is said before the thing happens?? it is only a pratting fool that would continue making predictions when he knows it is coming from his own head. sooner or later, he will say something, it will not come to pass and he would be embarrassed and become a laughing stock. by now, thousands of the members would have walked out on tb joshua. i mean, imagine what would have happened if he had predicted that Nigeria would win? he would receive a great deal more lashing than he has received on this post and everybody would start calling him a fake prophet. i think what gives him that confidence to keep on speaking out is because it is truly God that is revealing to him. that's why he has not stopped although he has faced much mockery As for the super eagles, the flying eagles and the eaglets, i advise them and anyone close to them to let them know that tehre is a true prophet of God - they should get connected with tb joshua. someone that God used to predict the result of the match, i believe God can also use to advise on how to go about it. |
fellow people of naija, check this one out. tb joshua spoke concerning the super eagles match in his service on sunday just before kickoff. God is really interested in football ![]() This article is taken from http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/4185197-stunning-how-tb-joshua-saw-supereagles-stalemate STUNNING! How TB Joshua Saw Super-Eagles Stalemate As the Nigerian ‘Super Eagles’ grounded to a disappointing draw in their crucial World Cup qualifying match with Tunisia, little did they know that Pastor TB Joshua had symbolically revealed the result several hours before kick-off… Disclosing the prophetic revelation he received the night before, the famous Nigerian cleric spoke to a packed auditorium at The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday 6th September 2009 in a service watched by multitudes worldwide on Emmanuel TV. It was approximately 8am. “Yesterday, I kept hearing, football, football, football,” he said, much to the delight of the avid football fans in the crowd. “I said, ‘God, what is this football all about?’ And the Lord showed me everything from the beginning to the end. It came to a stage that the host of Heaven were the ones playing football - because the whole thing was tough. So, both sides – nobody played ball again. But who are these people playing football? I could not see any players again because it was tough to decide. So, both sides that were playing football – it got to a stage – the whole thing was just – here is balanced, here is balanced. But decision - what is decision? It’s like, both sides left the field. They could not take a decision – who is the most powerful among the two. So, it got to a stage, okay, go and sit down, go and sit down. I will not say more than that.” As the people pondered on the prophetic and parabolic words from TB Joshua, Nigeria and Tunisia walked onto the pitch at the National Stadium, Abuja several hours later at 5pm, egged on by 60,000 fervent fans. In a closely fought contest which saw Nigeria take the lead on two occasions through Osaze Odemwinge and Michael Eneramo, Tunisia grabbed a vital equaliser in the dying minutes of the second half to seal a 2-2 draw, drastically denting Nigeria’s World Cup aspirations in the process. The stalemate saw Tunisia maintain pole position in their qualifying group with only two games remaining, Nigeria left to bank on the Tunisians stumbling against either Kenya or Mozambique to ignite any hope of going to South Africa in 2010. As the prophet had said, the match was both a tough and balanced affair, neither team proving powerful enough to secure the decisive victory. Not the first revelation relating to the field of football, it is on record that TB Joshua had also accurately spoken of the 2008 African Cup of Nations quarterfinal encounter between Nigeria and Ghana. “I’m just seeing 5 minutes,” said the prophet in the service of Sunday 3rd February 2008, indicating that something significant would happen within such timeframe. He also made the sign of the number ‘1’ in the air, symbolically conveying the margin by which victory would be achieved. “You should not allow anything to affect your joy today,” Joshua told the stunned Nigerian supporters, calling on them to ‘take heart’. True to the prophet’s words, it was in the last five minutes of the first and second half that Ghana equalised then scored the winning goal in the game that was played later that day, Ghana triumphing 2-1 to send Nigeria out of the cup. Prophet Joshua’s teacher in Primary School, Mrs Margaret Tolani Adejumo, testified that this prophetic insight started right from childhood, the young Joshua often predicting the outcome of local football matches with remarkable accuracy and consistency, earning him the nickname ‘small pastor’. TB Joshua’s prophetic ministry continues to garner growing patronage, his recent proclamations concerning the deaths of legal luminary Gani Fawehinmi and iconic pop legend Michael Jackson both making headlines across various print and online media. In his Sunday services broadcast live on Emmanuel TV, he prophesies not only of forthcoming events, but also to individuals present, oftentimes disclosing details they have never relayed to anyone else. |
In fact, there was a woman with muscular distrophy since birth who could barely walk - and her daughter had the same problem. Her dad had died of the same sickness. Both mother and daughter were healed and walking freely after prayer! The woman even jumped!! TBJ must have prayed for over 10 000 already - and he's personally praying for each of them. Must be Divine strength, |
Anyone watching? This is touching stuff - real life experience, A small girl called 'Favour' had been accused of witchcraft, and rejected by her friends, family and the entire community. The pastor of her church confirmed she was a witch, and the one behind the churches lack of progress, and the pastor told the family that it is better she is thrown out and dies, rather than her killing them. They said she is the one who killed her mother. Anyway, TB Joshua told the whole world she is not a witch. He said he would take care of her, and that she would join his family, The girl is very brilliant. She spoke intellegntly despite her young age. She said that they forced her to accept she is a witch because if not they would beat her mercilessly. She advised everyone accused of witchcraft that one day God would find them and reveal the truth if they are not the witch they were accused of being. Half the church were in tears. And there are some real life witches there - some have tried to attack the prophet, Crazy stuff! |
Got a few spare minutes this afternoon? Check out Emmanuel TV now. Pastor Joshua is about to come out for a healing service. My friend is their. He told me there are over 20,000 people - the whole place is packed. Ikotun has gone international! I watched the last one in July and it is pretty awesome. Last time, about five people with evil spirits tried to attack TB Joshua - they all failed miserably and were delivered. And I saw over 100 guys in crutches, wheelchairs rise and walk. I mean, I wasn't there in person - but what I saw on ETV was unfakeable. Then there are the guys with mental problem - 100s of them. And for the record - my friend confirmed registration for the healing is free. This is not a money-making venture. This service is only once a month - so check it out and let me know your impression. For me, time and experience continue to show that TBJ is a true man of God, he's different to his money-mongering colleagues in the vineyard, Watch online - www.emmanuel.tv - click on 'Watch Online Now'
