There is an injunction in the Bible that "seek ye the truth for the truth shall set you free". Why do Nigerian Christians disregard this Bible directive?

The recent conflict between Israel and Palestine has brought the worst in many Nigerian Christians who in their pathological hate and hatred for Islam and muslims takes sides with the oppressor and brutal state of Israel. Worse still these irrational Christians justify, rather erroneously, their support for Israel on Christian or biblical grounds.
