FamilyRe: Advise Please! My Friend's New Wife From Nigeria Is Tearing Us Apart! by NosoChic: 12:14pm On Nov 02, 2013
Just give the friendship some time, you just need to be patient as the wife will gradually drop all the rubbish mentality soon...She plans to live abroad now and possibly work and have her kids.

It will all be converted to a big joke in the end.
BusinessRe: Etisalat Is 5 Years Today In Nigeria! by NosoChic: 2:26pm On Nov 01, 2013
deeptesting: Etisalat is the worst network in Nigeria....I got their subscription for my Mini Apple Ipad which i do pay 2000naira for 500MB..Believe me within 3 days or 4 they will send me an sms that i have used up my MB when i did not make any download or watch movie with it. On Wednesday 30th October 2013 at about 10.00PM i activated my subscription by loading 2000naira after sending the code *229*2*2# i received a feed back that i have 500MB active data plan only to receive a message by 1am when i was asleep that i have used up my data plan. I called their Customer care severally in the morning but they could not get give me any reasonable explanation on how my 500MB data plan was used up in less than 5 hours. My Etisalat phone number is 08178392086. My friend also experienced this same issue and ported to Visa phone.. 5 years of nonsense.
I thought I was the only one going through this is with them.....I use their data subscription plan for my galaxy tab and I know how many times I have been arbitrarily disconnected. For the last incident that happened last week, I recall I then called customer service and they was informed simple that the SIM had not been registered and so was disconnected.

I went ballistic and had to ask the babe if she really understood what she was saying, as I had purchased the SIM in June and had registered in the etisalat adeniran Ogunsanya office and I had been using monthly data plan subscription since then.

I proceeded to Adeniran Ogunsanya office to see the manager in charge as I could not understand why I had to do another SIM registration even when I could still recognize the lady who I had registered my SIM Card with.

The manager's professionalism was unrivaled. Trust I practically went there ballistic as I told them I was going to break their SIM in their office and was sure to call their packages HARD CLIQUE, HARD FLEX, etc as no other network had ever disconnected my number especially as there was no sms sent earlier.

Anyways she had given it to one of them Geeks there who simply reset it and voila my data bundle was back. So I realized that the lady who I had spoken with in customer service should have simply referred me to the nearest shop and not giving a bogus excuse for the disconnection.

Happy Anniversary to them all the same but the next time my number is disconnected, I will definitely be appealing to NCC.

PoliticsRe: Stella Oduah Given 72-hour Ultimatum To Resign By Anti-corruption Network by NosoChic: 10:34am On Oct 18, 2013
The earlier we realize that corruption is synonymous to Nigeria, the better for us all.

I have repeated this tirelessly, we will remain this way because we all keep praying that some day all this corruption will get wings and fly away instead of resisting it in whatever capacity we can.

I challenge all these politicians and other government officials, let they who are without any sin cast the first stone.

NIGERIA=CORRUPTION and CORRUPTION=NIGERIA
CareerRe: How To Deal With A Job You Dont Like. by NosoChic: 7:07pm On Oct 15, 2013
I agree absolutely with top cube...so many people work in 9ja not because they love the job per second. This write up may not just be so practical in our environment.
BusinessRe: GTBank Customer Humiliation by NosoChic: 1:39pm On Oct 15, 2013
I advise you send a formal complaint email to GTBANK on your dissatisfaction with the service received.
Kindly remember to be very vivid in your explanation and recounting the story. For example, name of bank manager and security personnel, how long you spent at in the banking hall and how long you had waited for the security man

I will like to conclude that irrespective of whatever happened between you and the security man, as long as you had escalated this to the bank manager, the onus was exclusively on him to resolve this issue with the parties involved to ensure a WIN WIN situation at the end of the day.

The unprofessional attitude of the manager is worth reprimanding and from experience, this is becoming so common among GTBANK branches....gone are the days when I enjoyed their banking hall services so I strictly do online to save myself somme headache

FamilyRe: Is My Son's School "Over Teaching?" by NosoChic: 8:13pm On Sep 16, 2013
We had same experience with my nephew,.In nursery one...He learnt to write 1 to 150 and then 200.
He just finished nursery two and can write to 500 unaided. Most schools now don't have nursery three anyways....I hope the school in question, is not in Surulere though.
For him we had to teach him beyond reciting the numbers at home and made sure he had fun while learning.
I advise you encourage and assist your son learning......but I don't doubt the ability of children to learn it.
