Orikinla:Which one do you think Mary would have worn? I think you would be abhorred if i posted a porn star with a crucifix around her neck? |
Orikinla:Which one do you think Mary would have worn? |
VhatAmazingDude:My bad, didnt realise you were an agnostic secularist. Religion transcends human folly like the one you said about law being the protector of religion and the right to worship. Believe you me, men, in different ages, have tried to abolish religion and failed miserably. |
HajimeSaito:Youre missing the point... Modern day seciularism grants dominant faith exceptions.... Isnt that what multi cultrlism is all about, being tolerant to the beliefs of others? Or does the matter exclude Muslims? Modern day christinity sounds a lot like xenophobia to me. If you cannot bare the sight of a woman's personal decision to protect her chastity, at the same time serving her God, through wearing a head garment then you are a sexist and a xenophobe. |
HajimeSaito:Haha so you think in a fully secular society pastors liie those in Nigeria would be allowed to get fat on tithes from the congregtation; buying planes and sh!t? A church would be seen like any other private instutution without discrimination and taxed premiums. But because faith precedes secular laws, there are exemptions. Thats why the church is the worlds biggest tax haven; a loophole for tax dodgers and money launderers. |

HajimeSaito:Are you comparing a tenet of faith to a hat? Guy get in touch with reality! If you study history you would know that religious convictions preceeds state secular laws. If you cant distinguish the secular and the sacred then you wil have a conflict. |
HajimeSaito:Who made you the judge, juror and executioner of this girl? Her convictions have nothing to do with you. Your prejudice is causing you to doubt her intentions, which is not your business. |
.. |
HajimeSaito:I wonder if Mary, the mother of Jesus would have banned the Hijab and rebuked this young vulnerable girl who wanted to remain chaste?! Quoting decadent non-conforming countries for their disdain of the Hijab really lays out your christian values. |
VhatAmazingDude:Here is a classic example of a christians ready to protect their own even when hypocrisy is worded with every sentence they ink down. And for the strangest reason these egotistic dogmatic christians are offended when Muslims rally to the call of their brothers and sisters? My questions to these sycophants, in your (spiritual) dreams do you see Muslims intellectually enferior? Unable to discern insult from concern? Usually some form of reality perpetuates 'good' dreams, maybe yours are far out of touch. And usually it is the christians that find mediums to claim their foul play by the Muslims, when blood has spilt. Think carefully before using your hands to spew incitement; it might not be in your favor. |
Charismatic he certainly is not! Buhari understands more than anyone that he is aphasic, a muffled felicitation wouldnt go down well at the wine fest. ![]() |
Let the dullard start with his cleavage bearing profligate that he calls wife. |
Ironically, Nigeria goverment elites will give more money and attention to this function than to the nations' Olympic representatives.. Even the president gave the couple a special mention. Austerity over where? |
Vicolan:When did she ever have it on? Hijab is not just clothing, it's modesty and modesty is inclusive of character and clothing. The hijab of a Muslim man is to lower his gaze. Shaking the hand of a non-mahram is not what we Muslims identify as Hijab. The aim of Hijab is to protect ones modesty and that of others. |
It is unfortunate that after so long (2 years) of being passive and introspective towards the topics and comments on this board that it is this topic that excites me. David Cameron was terrifically emphatic when saying Nigeria is fantastically corrupt. Nigeria in general and Nigerians in particular. You guys have a warped/demented understanding of many basic ideals that other nations take as intrinsic norms, without the slightest emphasis on strength of intelligence or level of credibility. I am never first to critique human errors, but when i see woeful and willful aberration, it is sinful not to intervene. To be brutally frank, corruption has an influence on every single Nigerian, who grew up [i.e. was educated or remained uneducated] in any part of Nigeria. All of you secretly want the forbidden fruit or illicit wealth. Nigeria's FG should consider dedicating a day to the worship of their predominate diety - Corruption, or what others may call submission to whims and desires. Truly, there needs to be acknowledgment of the role corruption plays in the day to day runnings of an average nigerians life. Here there is a story of woman who happens to own a 40 million Naira bag, a State figure, an influential representative to the millions of hard working Nigerian women. Not only does she own it, she intends to flaunt it at every opportunity. Please ask yourself, if you are truly a hardworking woman, does this woman represent you! For if she truly does, then you are no less of a liar and cheat than she is! Where in Nigerias society today is the place for flagrant ostentation and self serving headonism? In the ministries? On the streets? In the homes? WHERE IS THE REFLECTION OF THE LIFE THIS WOMEN HAS OPTED TO LIVE - other than in crime and corruption? Im a Muslim and i can confidently say Aisha Buhari is fully corrupt, and since she is, so too must her husband, his acolytes and cronies. Aisha Buhari is in a world of her own; a profligate, the progeny of the likes of IBB and Abacha; she basks in the status quo. Growing up around illicit earnings she probably believes God loves her most. HA!! WOMAN where is the illusion of advice of your spouse to dress in Islamic attire? Or were they merely costumes for the APC party? Tarry on... You guys can disseminate lies to millions of enchanted human worshiping zealots but you cant spread it pass the ocean. |
