CoolAmbience:Since I cannot confirm who you are, especially your age, Im going to ignore you. Fac.k offf you old bugga! |
Now before anyone starts running off on “some” tangent, this story is not sexual in nature, but a story that touches me and possibly a whole many of you on a very personal, perhaps political level... So folks let’s explore beyond carnal gratification to matters that has us all bothered and frustrated and no amount of sex can allow us to ignore. Like most Nigerians we grew up in a disciplinarian home, we; my siblings and I… My father a very educated man was your stereotypical Nigerian father, the conspicuous breadwinner, your biggest critic, my mothers’ overlord. He was the sort to bark orders in our regional language. His presence brought with it authority like no other, we were all in attention anticipating further instructions the moment he walked into the living room space. Turn off the TV, tv off, where’s my food, food ready, go read your books, homework time till bed time! My father indulged and enjoyed authority the same way the government enjoys it, even if it was at the expense of our development, because for him, the first sign of waywardness was self expression. He wanted his brood wingless, rank and file, regular - no frills. My father would call you stupid even when he saw you genuinely wanted to understand a topic. It seemed to me at the time that he expected me to be born knowing all there is to know about the world and he had the manual, i.e. the cane or belt to enter the settings that best suited his fast pace. If I didn’t know, Dami, the son of Mr Jibola knew, so I was supposed to know, how could I not know, maybe I needed setting changes quick! But existence dictates growth and growth dictates development and that leads to problem solving; the natural way, even solving problems you identified within the home. Like trying to solve why my father would throw blame on my mother even when he was in the wrong, clearly this staunch critic of my self expression was not the infallible man that he led me to believe, he too could be very wrong and not realize it at all, he too could transgress in his expression… But why could he not understand that like him, my siblings and I were all on the same boat trying to get things right? And if he should beat us it should be for extreme inexcusable transgressions. This problem followed me through life as I met more Nigerians like myself, I desperately wanted to understand why my father adopted the brutal approach to raising his children while my friends from white homes had parents who encouraged physical and mental growth… The end to my search inadvertently came to me when I made a trip to Nigeria to visit a dear relative. Suddenly it was a whole nation of my father, men with no or little regard for childhood ignorance, “ignorance is a sin”, you either know or you die. I met all sorts of shades of my father; the fat, the skinny, the joker, the philanderer, all shared one common trait ‘oppression towards those below them’ by exploiting their ignorance. The old would oppress the young, the soldier would oppress the civilian, the teacher would oppress the student, the land owner would oppress the tenant, the boss would oppress the workers. No where could I find equity, discussion and development. Was this hell or was this the primitive man in all its glory for showcasing, a sort of exhibition for humanist scientists to prove that we indeed evolved from selfish, egotistic apes? Oppression was king in this land and everyone wanted a piece of it, those lacking quickly grabbed it from those closest, as was the case of the market traders, oppressing their customers with outright lies about their products. No one wanted to be left alone without a victim to reinforce whatever esteemed image he or she had to prove. So now I had the source of my fathers “madness” the word I now use to describe his antics, but the explanation still seemed to evade me. Why were so many Nigerians so primitive? Where was the “trial and error” mantra that puts the human in humanity? Why was everyone so judgmental and quick to critique your self development? No amount of schooling could prepare me for the answer, it wasn’t quantitative so math’s that I love so much for being the bearer of truth when confusion was abound was unusable. You cannot calculate the reason for this problem… But the reason was simple, it was cowardice. You see all Nigerians understood that they were being oppressed, they appreciated the scheme of oppression, they knew that they were in a tight corner receiving blow after blow to their morale, but the cowardice in them prevented them from facing their daemons and instead rebuff their humiliating subjugation through oppressing the next tier below them. What we have in Nigeria is a pyramid of cowardice and oppression, the chief of all cowards and oppressors in this pyramid is the Nigerian Government. Some of you can understand why the Nigerian Government are oppressors but can’t wrap your minds around why they are also top cowards. In this pyramid of cowardice and oppression, cowardice precedes oppression. The Nigerian government are cowards because the people running it know they are not qualified to be where they are and so they are oppressed by the challenges they face on a daily basis and instead of deflating their rank to a position within their intellectual depth or bringing in capable minds; out of fear, they throw tantrums at those below them in authority as is the case of someone strong and wrong. Instead of them to take responsibility, they blame and oppress others who they know wouldn’t dare challenge their ‘position’ and not necessarily their credentials. Sounds familiar? So I was able to identify a problem and use life to identify the source and cause, but unfortunately my father passed before I could happily prove to him that young people shall indeed come to know, just as he came to know. If only, like my white friends, my father passed on the things he learnt the way knowledge should be inherited, where would I be now? Imagine all the knowledge that he had that has now been lost forever, just because of his dire ethnic need to oppress? My father was entirely to blame for his cowardice to face the regime during his school days and create awareness of the ineptitude of the military leadership of the time. He could have died for it, but his blood would have given life to a productive Nigeria and not the rotting cadaver we have today. My father will have been a septuagenarian if he were alive today. His generation were the last to witness the glory days of Nigeria. So I blame my father and all those within the age group of 55 and 65 for the problems we are facing today. They stayed quiet when Abacha was looting like a profligate, stayed quiet when Obasanjo was selling national assets like toy collectibles, and now they have the audacity to tell us we are wayward? Well we, their children are a product of their continued cowardice. The system is a product of their cowardice. You find many of this generation occupying most of the positions in government and churning out retribution for the days Abacha oppressed them. They are the ones sending SARS to monitor the youth, instead of handing over key positions to them and grooming them for hand over of power. We need social changes in Nigeria, we need to put these ageist old folks into final retirement. Their wisdom is a farce; how can you teach me a life lesson when you are busy oppressing me? Nigeria needs to put a maximum age of 50 to all government positions, we have way too many young people and they are not being represented in government decisions. We know the old people have the money and resources to win elections, so we need to enforce a maximum age requirement to allow room for young people to step in. Let’s give young people a chance instead of killing them like guinea fowl. Sheathe your knives, i.e. the police forces, stop the intimidation, harassment, stop the stray bullets, stop the profiling based on hair and clothing, stop the sex based employment of young women at the expense of young qualified men, stop the oppression. We cannot continue growing like this as a nation. We lead every immoral social index, so you the old generation still in power are to blame. Step down, give us a chance, or create more positions strictly for us. Teach us how to be better than you since your mates in Europe have built space stations. You are not the brightest, if you were, the nation will not be employing expats for positions you "qualify" for! Stop being egotistic, we are all human, we don’t need a leash, just guidance, just empathy! Lets have a nation of young leading and old guiding. In memory of Kolade Johnson, RIP bro. |
Before cutting his cake they should know that Dino is not a business owner, yet living the flamboyant lifestyle of a coke dealer. Now you can cut the cake, and your childrens future too, facking idiots, the bunch of them! |
How are we suppose to know they werent soldiers in the first place doing the Armys bidding? |
The truth is that we have far too many entitled facking Sexagenarian morons leading a country of 180 million. People between the ages of 50 and 65 are Nigerias biggest problem, mark my words. They are the aegists putting killer SARS and criminal police on the streets to keep the youth in check. If Osinbanjo is serious about creating businesses let him hand over a subsidised parastatal to a young qualified business owner. Empowering people does not mean cutting down the bureacracy that you created in the first place to stifle development and put your cronies into top positions! Give the youth leading positions, give the youth leaders and examples from within themselves, everyone loves a success story, how many can Osinbanjo name; young people that came from no where and who are now leading teams of young people... How facking many! Davido, wixkid etc do not speak to or for millions of ambitious Nigerians who are not entertainers! Give us some facking real role models you old git or 'f.a.c.k' off! |
What is prison to a hardened Nigerian criminal when they called this catastrophe their school? |
This is not fraud, its armed robbery. The code he's referring to is the card pin code. The software is a banking software with a portable card reader behaving like an ATM machine. This idiot deserves 24 strokes of wire. |
'Igbos just killed a Yoruba man', you do know thats how millions of Yorubas will see it irrespective of their political or religious alliances. Some people only begin thinking after violence kicks off. Yorubas, though hospitable are not the nicest people on earth, what youre laugh at can spark a conflict beyond the scope of this election. THINK. |

traihit:Africa is not divided by mere tribalism and religion, its being divided by those who exploit certain borrowed religions for monetary gains. Every ideology the white European has given Africa only serve to prolong our subjugation, whether economically or intellectually. Africa expanded into Europe and achieved great academic heights with the adoption of certain other religions, so we cannot just blame religion. Religion gave Africans morals and put an end to sacrificial killings. Education is indeed under the shadow of European hegemony, we are in their era of dominance. |
traihit:Afrocentric leaders like Mugabe, Idi Ameen and Mandela reflected an alternative, albeit punitive, indigenous style of government that saw the overthrow of European lords. Mobutu's rule lacked authenticity as he exploited a tumultuous period in Congo politics and deposed the erstwhile successive government of Patrice Lumumba, a true afrocentric leader who was quick to wrestle authority from the Belgians and paid with his life. When we speak of Mugabes failures, we must do so within the bounds of context. Yes we know Mugabe was a prodigal, but he maintained a very African identity and put the black plight at the forefront of his political and military struggles. White Europeans love describing Mugabes tenure as a despotic one simply because of the pervasive poverty which they are totally responble for. Europeans have the leverage on financial institutions since they were first to adopt the modern form of exchange, fiat currency and created many of the regulations that hold the system in place. Any Afrocentric leader has no choice but to use the financial system propped up by the Europeans until an opportunity avails itself. When you say cancer to describe the mistakes of Afrian leaders I cant help but think you speak with European influence. |
traihit:Africans need to get rid of the current eurocentric political style of governance. We especially are its arch enemies, historic rivals. Democracy help Europeans interfere with our politics and always seems to bend in their favor no matter the condition, but why shouldnt it? Why else will a militarized monarchy like Britain devise a political system for all her satelites? The common wealth states excluding those predominated by whites all share a common state of pitiful existence. Where are Africas fanatically nationalistic leaders? Why havent we had one since Mandela? Is it that democracy filters them out so that what is left are complacent zombies? |
Part 1, Freedom Ever wondered what the Europeans did with their plans to dominate the known world? I mean, when you think of the resources and years of planing, years that transcended generations and monarchs, the idea couldn't have just been thrown away simply because of, what we've been taught in school, that certain righteous entities believed a world of equity was more sustainable and democratic, right? Certainly European dominance still exists, given without the shackles and price tags, thriving for the last hundred years with the help of cleaverly worded euphemisms. Words that conjure up feelings of freedom, hope and most importantly, autonomy - the all too familiar buzz word of the 18th century; seeding back indepedence to those it was outright castrated from. But what makes a euphemism especially cleaver? Is it the grandstanding proclamation of "Freedom and equality for all nations" or the ubiquitous "Democracy is our right" ideological expression? We are glued to any political notion emanating with inclusion, belonging and purpose. As the underdog in the full scheme of things, we feel compelled to glorify the compassion of our overlords even when we dont fully understand why they are suddenly showing "unyielding clemency and empathy" towards us when their predecessors surely showcased a taste for discretion. They even coined words like humanity just to prove to the cynics how truly willing they were to unite all races, in particular the once utterly neglected 'nigger race'. Words are indeed magical when put in ways that surreptitiously suppress intent, and beguile the victim into believing the pretentious solutions being proffered by a victorious narcissist with a god complex enough to put the devil to shame. Words have seduced many kings and queens into preying victim to extramarital affairs, so why cant they seduce a generation of serfs? Why can't words that can fool great competent leaders not fool the least priviledged and vastly uneducated? Europeans quickly understood that the rate in which their young men were being killed in battle could not sustain a post war era when dominating the uncivilized was the grand prize. So they devise trusty words that would linger on in the minds of the prey while they dealt with business. "We're fighting Hitler for world peace so you (delinquent subjects of the empire) wont ever have to [fight?]"! Such words kept centuries of systematic racial oppression from being avenged at a rare promptu moment in hostory. If Africa only knew what their progeny would lose, it would not have been easily bewitched and fangless at such a time... And ironically, some Africans love to view themselves as stalwarts of voodoo, vicegerents of gods of old and new. But perhaps a word from a wise and experienced white man is more potent than the voodoo of all of Africa? We are living in the age of euphemisms, where suppressed peaceful resistence is the only politically correct way to disrupt the time old tradition of status quo. A democracy; short for European subjugation, vote rigging, opposition elimination, destruction of morals and good conduct, greed of few to detriment of everyone else. Some might dare argue that Europeans no longer subjugate Africa. Well, when last has an indigenous African company that sell products other than in oil and raw materials been allowed to trade seemlessly on the shores of Europe? Trade and barter is no monologue, mutual development of all nations is the objective, as in the case of France and Germany. What we have instead of trade in Africa is uninterrupted exploitation, rough uninterrupted rape. A sadistic depiction of sophisticated hard-core domination snuff porn. We do not even have a financial system, we have a string of contemporary banks but no financial system. A backbone that would allow African governments to subsidize fledgling industries in the midst of European unfair trade policies. Ever needed a bank loan and couldn't get one, well now you know why. This is why we have so many NGO's in Africa offering aid, because white Europe knows black Africa is firmly in their grip and Africans cannot be allowed to compete internationally and show competitive brilliance and creativity. Can you imagine the racial equality it would cause?? A no no for a bigot indoctrinator. This is what Democracy symbolizes and nothing else. Globalization; short for erosion of religious and moral values, consumer culture of all things foreign, collapse of local enterprises, high unemployment, flight of young educated people, knowledge gap, destruction of landscale, pollution and depopulation. Africans unwittingly live within the confines of these euphemisms, believing the outcome of incombent government is squarely in the hands of the one leading it. Corruption starts at the top, so the job of the rapacious European biggot is easy, exploit Africas lax vetting process and make their redbrick educated, white hegemony advocating, socially deviant coconut the prime candidate for the position of long streches of uninterrupted dictatorship power. More to come. |
HigherEd:Stfu. |
HigherEd:Im glad you've admitted your religion is merely the antics of some pagans that refused to bend to the Laws of God and insisted on merging their heresy with the Sublime way of life God imposes on His servants. Hold on a minute, since water and oil cannot mix, how then can truth and falsehood? I think the latter holds more bearing in the Sight of the Almighty. His Way is straight, one must bend to Him as we bend to the laws of life. He deserves our sincere worship, if only you but knew you wouldnt be spewing this errant nonsense on a global platform. Then again, youre merely a condemned heathen, dumb deaf and blind, disguising as a worshiper, be gone heathen! |
Heartbender:Your heart has absorbed idolatry. Freeze is cleaning his heart through knowledge and understanding, while you are here entrenching yourself in ignorance and darkness. God allows His day to be shared with known pagan festivals? Youre a pagan so soak up christmas wella, heretics before you have claimed worst. Death is the great divider of truth and falsehood. May your falsehood be with you in death as it is in life. |
kiddoiLL:Insurance is basically gambling against yourself? Gambling against the possibility of lifes failures including death. US law even allows some securities firms to gamble against, I mean 'insure' third party companies. |
If English is your mothertongue then your proficiency in organizing grammatical statements and responses can be used as a meaaure of intelligence. Being articulate in any language is akin to solving complex problems, this is why we give reverence to poets and writers. However, the propensity in which Europeans use their respective languages to denigrate diverse African cultures and contributions to science and disruptive technologies has no iota of relevance when it comes to measuring intelligence of the common man. Some Nigerians inadvertently do the bidding of European zenophobes when they mock their own people with foreign instruments in ordee to prove we are lacking. Yes, most Africans lack access to education, and No being educated does not make you superhuman. Someone who lacks educatiom today and gains it in latter years can catch up or even excede the early bloomer. |
IamD18:So you think he didnt know the source of his money? |
lawalosky:This s not superstition, it actually works. The basic science behind it is that termites enjoy the taste of dead flesh more than wood. When they detect its odor they are distracted from eating the wood for a couple of months. The bigger the animal, the longer the respite. Sometimes you might be lucky and they might find another source of wood after devouring the meat, possibly your neighbour ![]() |
All for G-Wagons as long as money used were not the proceeds of a crime or taken from public coffers. Nigeria can have many G-Wagon owners if the economy is fixed and people start getting creative. |
A lesson for those opposing capital punishment. Once a criminal of a heinious crime has been convicted he or she should be publicly executed. Even before punishment can be delivered, the culprit should be starved and chained in a cesspit with just enough air ventilation for him or her to survive the duration. The cesspit should be one in use and away from the population. The victims family should then be consulted on how they would like the public execution to be carried out with the State mandating a minimum of decapitation. That is what you call deterence. |
These kidnapers are not just kidnapping for the sake of selling children. Many kidnappers kill their victims to remove key body organs to sell on the thriving organ black market where hearts sell for $60,000 and eyes $20,000 a pop. Police need to stop toying with this crime of kidnapping and get to the bottom of it. |
This boy is a victim of organ harvesters not ritualism, which is far more insidious. The boys cornea were harvested and will be sold to a waiting buyer in a developed country. We need to start creating awareness of body snatchers who are hiding under the fear generated by ritualists. Body snatching is a thriving industry here in Nigeria where unwilling or unaware donors have their critical organs removed and sold. Don't be quick to label every barbaric dismemberment a ritual killing and allow the real culprits evade detection and escape under the radar. |
kimbraa:I am no satan. I pray to One God, Fast, Pray 5 times daily towards Becca, the house built by Abraham for God and give my wealth to the needy. What about you? How much or how little satan is in you? Every Sunday I see millions of spiritually dirty christians rushing off to places they know very little about. They attend the most glamourous churches in hope prosperity will rub off on them, or meeting affluent and connected devils in sheep clothing. I see much but expect little from them. Most dont know anything about the book they only carry on sunday. Most only know a couple of lines and cant give you historical details. Xtians are by large illiterates when it comes to the bible, they dont believe in it and prefer listening to sermons. |
kimbraa:All that matters to me is that xtianity is exposed as fraud against humanity. You are merely a fraudster. The time of Caliphate rebirth is fast approaching, so you better put your best clothes on. |
kimbraa:Your best isnt good at at all. |

In that your little mind now, you think you made sense? Do I look like someone who needs to be preached to by an unclean spirit?
