Many rich professing faith are liars. They only claim faith to get more praise among the poor masses. The true rich man with faith will spend his money in Gods way and his faith will increase.

So when you say your god is not poor, we know God is not poor, but Jesus and his deciples certainly were. Even in their poverty God warned them not to give up faith. So if wealth could make one a believer like TB Joshua, why didnt God make Jesus resemble him in worldly status? Remember what Jesus said about those who will come after him.

Allah Himself wages war on the unbelievers in graphic verses, your point is? Are you an apologist of disbelief? Fatwas are necessities when a subject is murky and Muslims need guidance. And dont confuse incitement of certain scholars with fatwas.

A fatwa is the right of Fuqahas, inheritors of prophethood. Though fatwas are not perfect they are to be obeyed and disobedience to a fatwa based on Qur'an and authentic hadeeth is disobedience to Allah and His messenger (pbuh). As Allah Says "...and those in authority among you" (4:59)


And if there is a dispute among the scholars with regard a fatwa, they, not you the laymen, should refer back to Quran and Sunnah and find the way that is closest the meaning of the text.

"And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day..." (4:59)

So fatwas are most definitely binding upon every able Muslim. We give so much deference to our scholars as they are Allahs vicegerents on earth, the extinguishers, inshaAllah, of darkness.

Only the shiah can be full of so much doubt and disdain for Ahlu Sunnah scholars because they dont want to oblige.
