Politics › Re: FCT: A Run Off Is Likely by NothingDoMe: 2:04am On Mar 01, 2023 |
seunmsg: There is already a judgement of the Supreme Court on this matter and I hope to get my hand on it soon. However, section 299 of the constitution is very clear, FCT is to be treated as a state. Section 299 of the constitution says: “The provisions of this Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation.” As if it were. Meaning it still retains its FCT status. The fact that it is still the FCT means that the leading candidate must score 25% in the FCT. If 299 eradicated it's FCT status then it would be a different matter altogether. Then you'd be correct in saying that the 25% doesn't matter. |

You have been mocking him here, on twitter,Instagram etc so live with it because you attracted the embarrassment How did they get the pictures of him sleeping? Nor be him dey go sleep for important function. This is why I don't like agbado media. It's always going to be someone else's fault. |

They can NEVER escape this rigging
The youths are coming for them
It will happen so fast that they will not be able to escape
Massive Nationwide riots loading
Just wait for INEC to announce the results
220,000,000 people and how many soldiers do we have in the arm forces less than 5,000,000.
The security forces can NEVER crush over 220,000,000 Nigerians
Let that sink Take it easy. |

Politics › Re: Atiku's Loss In The Presidential Election: The Major Causes. by NothingDoMe: 1:51am On Mar 01, 2023 |
Xeeman: I don't agree with your assertion that religious politics did play down south. Because, if you look at the bar chart of the results, you'll find that each of the candidates are able to secure reasonable votes in the north, unlike in the southeast. Just look at the result of Anambra, enugu for example and compare it with Adamawa or kaduna, you'll see what I'm talking about.
In fact, what I actually see with respect to religous politics is that the southerners and the Christian bodies wanted to fight the so-called Muslim-Muslim tickets but, in reality they ended up helping it.
Also, Kwankwaso is not a looser in this election unlike you thought. He was able to re-establish his base in kano after been betrayed politically by Gov Ganduje. Joining Obi as a VP would have affected this. Also, it isimportant for you to understand that contesting against the duo of Tinubu and Atiku is not an easy task, thus even if Obi/Kwankwaso have been materialised, there's still no guarantee of success in the Presidential elections. You can agree with me if you add both the results of the two candidates. 💯 Obi and Kwankwaso would never have worked. Being Lord of Kano alone is not enough. |
Politics › Re: FCT Has SAVED Nigeria Oooooh. by NothingDoMe: 1:48am On Mar 01, 2023 |
stonemasonn: It is open to interpretation.
It can simply mean 25% in 23 states + the FCT is acceptable.
Or 2/3rd of all the states + the FCT = 2/3(36+1) which is approximately 25.
Or 2/3×36+1===in this case there'll be a rerun. Lol. Why is it that it's during election time that the constitution is open for interpretation? 😄😄😄 |

Politics › Re: Previous FCT Election Results And Why 25% Is A Must . by NothingDoMe: 1:19am On Mar 01, 2023 |
DoTheNeedful: You need to. This argument about the FCT is due to APC's poor performance in Abuja. It was never an argument few days ago, and even in previous presidential elections. Yup. It is the first time it is happening. History is about to be made. As for the acceptance of results I don't think that will happen. Not with so much evidence against INEC. It's one thing for the party to rig and its a very different thing for INEC to be caught rigging. Makes me laugh even though it's not a funny matter. |

DoTheNeedful: Some of you are just shopping for victory through every means possible. It is you that would say the election was rigged and should be cancelled. At the same time, you will be the one to say 25% is required in FCT to declare a winner. To make the argument for 25% in FCT, at least, you must first accept the results of the election. Shopping for victory like Hope Uzodinma? lol. That's on a lighter note. You don't need to accept the results to either challenge the FCT requirement or the electoral malpractice by INEC themselves. lol. |

All declared candidates won 25% of the FCT as shown . Even the runner up won too. Bros no need for history lessons. Tinubu is the first to score less than 25% in FCT. This drama should be very interesting. |

Haylel: Tinubu is old and fragile! You think I like him?
I just pointed out the flaw in the obidients' movement.
The naira change, the deployment of soldiers to Lagos, the "trouble in paradise" farce by APC.
I saw through the smoke. They were better at the game, far more experienced, and they won. Theres no flaw in the Obididients movement. If anything these things you listed boosted the morals of Obidients to come out and vote. The only offensive counter to rigging is rigging. Ojoro cancel Ojoro. So which flaw in movement are you talking about? |

blakid: Hello, sir. People staying in Abuja doesn't have any special abilities to give so much importance that a presidential candidate must attain 25% there. So long the candidate attain 25% in at least 24 states (Abuja is categorised as "State" in this context), he is good to go. So far, only Tinubu has met this requirements and he also has the highest number of votes. What else do you need. That's what people say. What does the constitution say? |
