Your submission is flawed. Inclusion of middlebelt states as Northern states to drive home your conclusion that the North is more tolerant, is like a man trying to become fat by blowing air into his clothes.

The general demographics of a state usually determines leadership. If you have like 90% Christians in a state then there's a high likelihood that a Christian will emerge as governor and deputy respectively. For those states you'll have peace because the demographics favor same faith tickets.

The demographics of Nigeria as a whole, shows that you should have both Christian and Muslim in leadership for balance. Even Buhari understood this.
