You can never know the degree of harm a woman can inflict. It is beyond what an average man can conceive.

All those guys messing with women and bragging about it, if y'all know what these creatures are capable of y'all will freeze.

Imagine if the devil was a woman. This world 4 don end since.

I'm only pained cuz of her little child. Poor kid.

We actually need the ventilators.... It depends on how you interpret it . To me what he meant is just that the country really needs it , not like they have sold the country or anything . In my opinion
Well said.

I really don’t want to go all out arguing for printing of money. What I’ve tried to do is to explain the thinking behind the idea as best as I can. It is left for the eggheads managing the economy to decide on the way forward.

People who don’t understand the serious economic problem that this Coronavirus will cause descended on Tinubu without even considering the merit of his advice. That is very wrong. At this point in time, all options should be on the table.
okay

We’ve only closed our borders to human traffic. Cargoes are still very much allowed to enter the country through the air and sea ports.
But of what value would our currency be to those who we are buying from? The USD is not the same as the naira. It's value nears that of a natural resource such as gold.

The FG can give other things in exchange for goods and services. This method is preferable than printing notes. Nigeria is blessed with resources and I believe we can use this to survive.
Politics › Re: Print More Naira Notes - Tinubu Tells FG by NothingDoMe: 6:02pm On Mar 29, 2020
Let the government adopt other monetary instruments as exchange for goods and services. The USD is still strong and they can afford to manipulate it. It is also an international currency almost as valuble as gold.

Oshigun:
Hi

The money will incentivize socio-economic buoyancy within Nigeria that is vital for survival. Which manufacturer will stay open if buyers cannot pay for their products? Which farmer will continue farming to then give away his crop for free.

Money is a repository of an intangible value system that creates a reward for productivity. No one will be motivated to create nice clothing or shoes if they know they won't be paid after doing so.

Match this with a Nigeria racked with hunger and with up to 90% of the population not having any income from work for 2 weeks or so and little or no savings.

Real problems call for real solutions not daydreaming sentiments attached to tribalistic hate of certain individual.
Read the response I gave to leokid. Once your currency starts to fail you have to adopt other measures. Printing it won't solve the problem. Printing it while your ECONOMY IS STAGNANT is pure INSANITY.

Allow the Corona pass first. Most major companies are already shutdown except oil and gas. Primarily what we need now is food, water, and medications. Hopefully the government has been sincere about our food production in this country. Let the government pay with other forms of instruments.

Industries listed on the stock market would be a good place to start. ...I'd they collapse a lot of Nigerians will lose their life savings.....there are a lot of places you can put that money to prop up your economy beyond spending cash....
Not the first time stock will collapse. You can't print money and put in stock market. It's a high risk investment. You can't print money and dash to Nigerians. The simple solution is to adopt other monetary instruments. When money failed in Egypt they used their lands to buy food.

It's not about just printing money....Tbills will be issued....basically the money will be a loan....like borrowing money from the future.....which will be paid back.
Now you are talking. Borrow from Nigerians using Monetary instruments.

Senseless advice, right? It’s okay. Let us continue to observe the economy. It is still early days so most of you guys running your mouth anyhow won’t understand. If we ever get to the point where a sustained national lockdown is inevitable, that is when you will realize the need to prevent the economy from total collapse. Let’s all continue to abuse Tinubu because it’s woke without thinking out of the box for an alternative policy.
Seunmsg what will you buy with the Naira after printing it? Especially if the nation is on lockdown. Nothing coming in. Nothing going out. Why would you need more printed notes?

Tinubu might be right.
And I'm quite sure different governments would have resorted to printing cash in critical times.

Liquidity injections that's what its called.

I've always wanted to understand the Economics behind this.

Can someone please explain? Pocohantas?
No. Need to print. Borrow from Nigerians through monetary instruments.

That is why I stopped subscribing to all our pay TV. I have less than 2hrs daily to watch TV and Phcn will still hold the light, you will have to power gen.... and they receive money for 24hr x 30days. This is pure cheating.

Thank God our eyes are opened and next is phch to give everybody meters
Thing is you want it available whenever electricity supply is available. They dont switch it off because you dont have electricity.

Maybe they will oblige your request If you let them know when you watch it so that they can switch off as well and put it on when you are ready.
