Many of those soups will be loaded with salt and pepper too. The last pounded yam with soup (okro soup) I bought earlier this year from this restaurant tasted like it was cooked with a gallon of salt, not to mention the excessive pepper. It was so bad. Then I found no pounded yam in the bag (I called them and apparently they had forgotten to put it in the bag). Idk who they're trying to injure with salt and pepper. I had to go on Google and give them a bad review, as that was not the first time I found their soups to be excessively salty and peppery, and this time it was even more unbearable to eat. I was just drinking water and water, and could only eat a little from it before throwing it out. I've stopped going to Nigerian restaurants since, and make my own pounded yam and soups at home. It's not as if I can't cook. Most Nigerian restaurants cook rubbish.
