Excellence100: IELTS o, TOEFL o, GMAT o, GRE o. It’s all runs. All thanks to Covid and remote testing. This is why complete distance learning can never work In Nigeria. 4 Likes |

tensazangetsu20: Lol. Considering she’s a fraudulent individual, I’m certain she has a paid husband already. But Americans hate academic dishonesty and fraud. This will follow her no matter what. And it does seem the school will/has cancelled her sevis record. 1 Like |

tensazangetsu20: Absolutely. I read something like that recently. The affected countries were Nigeria, China, Indian and Brazil. Ets is considering ending the at home gre as that is where majority of the runs is carried out 1 Like |

Sisib15: Hopefully they cancel her sevis record and ask her to exit the US. I posted something similar but I was attacked here. Everyone and their gateman Is scoring 320+ in GRE and it’s all runs. ETS is aware, the schools are aware, even the embassy is aware. FYI. If the school cancels her sevis record, she won’t be able to transfer to another school. She will have 60days to exit the US before she starts accruing illegal stay. 1 Like |

USAfall2024: While Georgia Tech is very prestigious, they admit students without funding. Even PhD students are admitted and told that their admission is contingent on them securing a PI that will advise them. (This happened to a friend who was admitted to their Mech ENGR PhD program) 1 Like |

Debbieeeeeee: Lol. I can say same. You claimed DNPs earned more whereas having a DNP doesn’t increase your income or practicing rights. The long and short is that Some NPs will earn more than some MD/DO |
Travel / Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 17 by Nozino: 11:55pm On Mar 14 |
Debbieeeeeee: DNP is a professional Doctoral degree. It means very little. As long as you’re an NP, you can Practice in accordance to the law. Finally even most (more than 95%) of NiCU units are man by NPs not physicians. |

fearlessfang: Lol. You have no idea do you? Lemme educate you. A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an anesthetic provider who can provide anesthetic care to patients. They can practice in all 50 states and typically do not require Physician supervision. Starting salaries for CRNAs is on the high 250k$. Most FM/EM doctors will not smell that salary. Psychiatry NP are Advanced Practice Nurses with training in Psychiatry. They can do everything an MD/DO trained Psychiatrist can and can also have prescription rights in all 50 states. They will typically earn more than most Drs. |

Observer25: The sad part is Mpower requires monthly payments while the student is still in school. Most of the students still use the same Mpower loan to pay the monthly payment. We haven’t factored in the high interest rate. 1 Like |

Mjosh1000: Nowadays it is 100% due to the loan. An F1 visa is a non immigrant visa. This means that the Student is expected to return to their home country at the end of their education. $63000*1500 is 94,500,000naira. The average salary of a masters degree holder in Nigeria is less than 200k per month. How will a student with almost 100million Naira deficit convince the VO that they plan to return to Nigeria? 3 Likes |

Phraser: Some people say that schools are required to upload your financial documents to the sevis portal. How certain this is, is unknown. Best to have the same source if funding you submitted to schools with you while attending the interview. Also, some schools list source of funds on your i20. You may not have the opportunity to explain the discrepancy during the interview. You don’t need the i20 to secure a visa appointment if that’s why you’re in a hurry. |

Joyussilver: Hello, I’m not sure if your MPH was funded or provided any scholarship, but if it does, it may be better to attend the interview while going for a Masters degree as it show’s academic progression. You can always change schools/programs when you enter the US. ABSN is the better option here( to me). The opportunities for a US trained nurse is unlimited. Some APNS make way more money than medical doctors. If you can afford it, by all means go that route. 3 Likes |
